It's silly for a first time watcher to make guesses about things? It's not about one looking like Yamcha lol, there's many characters that slightly resemble others that I've been use to seeing in the 50+ eps of the series so far.

Saying “I’m not that far yet (into One Piece), I’m only on episode 300… no 400 something” is absolutely wild to me. Lol It’s one of a few reasons that’s prevented me from taking on the task (yes, task) that is watching One Piece.

Lmao! I totally get it. But I was literally the same and shat on my one friend for liking one piece. But now that I've been in it, I get it haha. I will say I personally feel it's worth it. But everyone is different. The world building, characters, powers, and writing are all solid. Like moments that happen on episode 400 that ties back to episode 150, you can just tell mostly everything was so thought out. And shit gets very creative. I was a hater, but it's becoming one of my faves. (Join the cult) lol
