Yoshiki was in love with Hikaru. They talk about another boy in town that everyone thought was dead, but they basically just disowned him because he was gay. Yoshiki has been struggling with his feelings for Hikaru and in that last scene of him crying, he truly has a broken heart. If the person you've loved just died, and someone came in and pretended to be the same person. I think a part of me would still want to keep them around because I'm grieving. Not really the best way to move forward, though.
