Rebooting dragon ball would be extremely tricky due to Master Roshi I feel. Also I really hate some of the new voices they use for kid Goku nowadays and some others…

I honestly don't like the idea of rebooting dragonball. I would probably feel better about it if Toriyama was still alive.

Completely against a live action though, they never turn out good. (If they could do it good, then obviously I’d be down but I have no faith in them doing it well enough)

lol Goku did actually have 8 arms there man, he was just moving them up and down really fast so it looked like he had 8. That’s why it had all those motion lines in between them and just overall looked much different than Tien’s 4 arm technique.

After all the live action fails…. (Dragonball Evolution, The Last Airbender, Full Metal Alchemist, Deathnote, Cowboy Bebop, Avatar The Last Airbender [AGAIN], Halo, The Witcher) I’m be against em until one actually proves me wrong. Side note: The only live action adaptation I’ve ever only heard positive things about is the One Piece live action show but I haven’t actually watched One Piece, so I can’t speak on it.

Yeah I wasn’t sure if you thought he actually had 8 arms or not but then there was a couple things you said that made me think you actually thought he did, the two examples I could find though were around 34:42 & 49:43. I wanna say there was something else too but I’m not sure. (Actually as I’m typing this I was re-listening to what you was saying at 49:43 and initially I thought you was referring to Goku coping Tien’s technique but I’m now realizing you were most likely referring to him copying King Chappa’s technique )

Yea i looked at these and theres no where of me believing he grew 8 arms lol. 34 marker was just a joke about chichi and goku. 49 was giving an example of how goku adapts learning the 8 arm technique and using on tien, as an example of how he could learn to float by copying tien like he has previous opponents.

Fair and solid points tbh haha. Yeah I'm just saying, if they can make marvel and dc movies and them actually be good an true to source (to an extent) then theres no way theh couldnt do the same for anime. It needs to be passion though and not just an easy cash grab. Also. Def watch the live action of one piece at least. Thats what got me into the anime. Good area to test I out on your end.

Yeah I initially figured 34:42 was a joke but I think it was mostly 49:43 that made me think you actually thought he did but as I said in my last reply, seems I was just misunderstanding who you was referring to which made me rethink the other stuff. That’s my bad lol
