White Beard was so badass. Good on Koby too, what a guy.

The marines: we care about protecting innocent people Also the marines: we’re okay with innocent people being slaves

Lol! Also, seeing Luffy broken for once hits pretty hard. Hes always optimistic, confident, ready to move forward and always showing strength even when he’s beaten. I say it’s hard to see but in a good way, if that makes sense. Seeing such a carefree and strong character broken and shut down like that, all WITHOUT his crew at his side… I’m kinda just babbling at this point but it’s all so good lol. And I’m looking forward to seeing your reaction to where we go from here

Totally agree and know what you mean haha. I love seeing a character breaking for the plot momentum and character/story development. This was definitely luffys hard Wake up call to how the world really is.

What I love about it is Luffy took a lot of L’s. The first obviously on Sabaody where he and his crew got the dogshit kicked out of them Luffy went to impel down, nearly died fighting the warden (saved by Mr 2, let’s be real. He’s the real hero here) Went to war for Ace and lost again I’m excited for you to see what the rest of the crew has been doing and how they get back together (obviously they get back together, not a real spoiler lol)

Cory

Fuck how’d you know?
