Fishman island is definitely my least favorite arc lol. Even tho I can see how it’s necessary, it’s a setup for what’s next kinda like thriller bark, except thriller bark was fucking awesome. Easily one of my favorite arcs. Fishman island is def the worst for me

I was trying to think of how to refer to those arcs, and I heard you say “lesser arcs” so I’ll go with that lol. I view fishman and thriller bark as “lesser” arcs, but thriller bark is easily one of my favorites. It was so good I agree with you about fishman… it’s “good” but I also couldn’t wait to get it over with, and the princess crying all the fucking time, Neptune spending the ENTIRE arc just… spectating. Doing absolutely nothing, completely useless His sons was kinda useless too but at least they tried to do something In thriller bark, the story was more interesting, all the characters had a purpose (imo) and were fun and interesting. Loved the spooky vibes too The climax was way better (imo) in thriller bark, and one of the best scenes ever when Zoro accepted all of Luffy’s pain. Not saying fishman island didn’t have moments that hit, but of the two lesser arcs, thriller just hit harder for me and way more entertaining

Damn, haven't had a lot of time, so much one piece to catch up with, yet, i already can't wait for more slime isekai reactions. Can't wait to see you reacting to peak. And that's not a spoiler, there will probably be many moments where you'll go "is that the peak, Ray mentioned?" And i will say, "but there's more."
