2:00:26 even though, to me, both hit hard in different ways and i don't think one does it better than the other (imo, of course, i know people have thoughts about this 🤣), i do like it when someone says this bc i know the haters who simply hate will just say it's cringe and i know a lot of people do support opla more than most anime to live action adaptation out there but i still see some haters that piss me off so i appreciate this kind of compliment about the live action lol. also my favorite Luffy quote this episode "people leave, Laboon, but sometimes, you end up somewhere you never thought you would. and you meet people who stay. i need my friends, Laboon." ugh so good!!!

I have a deep deep love for One Piece. It’s a story that saved my life when I was in a really dark place. I love everything about the live action adaptation. I don’t understand the hate that it gets online from people that say the actors are bad or they don’t like having it not be a 1-1 recreation. If Oda is happy with it then I’m gonna be happy with it too.

For some reason I spaced the fact you haven’t come across Bartolomeo’s character in the anime. When you said you didn’t know his relevancy I was about to say “dude don’t you remember x y z” almost fucking spoiled it like a dumbass

I could be wrong but I think the Actor for Dragon also played Arlong. The voice sounds the same when he was talking to Smoker

I dont think sabo would be a spoiler for me. It was shown he ended up with dragon in the flashback after marineford stuff haha.

Yeah I remember you predicting that but it's still more fun to see it in the anime imo. Other than that there's a bunch of mentions of future stuff in the later S2 episodes but nothing too crazy, especially if you don't know the context.

Yea and I still feel the anime will hit much differently haha. I feel they both do s great job of their own things while following the same story so each will feel different depending on each. Im excited for the rest of season 2 though

(Slowly working through this) On Episode 2: Laugh Tale is the same as Raftel, which is indeed mentioned in the anime. Sort of like an Enel/Eneru situation where it depends on the translation.

I think Usopp actually says "your dad?" And not "you dare" to Carol. So that's kinda a Daddy the Father reference

At the end of the first episode of little garden, after the giant reveal, we hear Louis Arnott's section of Brag Men. He mentions that the reason it's called little garden is because of it's massive inhabitants. I think he was even the person who named it, but I don't remember exactly

Did you catch that mention of how there’s room enough inside Laboon for a whole house… is cuz, in the anime, that’s where Crocus lives, lol. His house IS inside Laboon. 😁
