"That's what she said"...... fuck man, I was thinking the EXACT same thing! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

JAMES D'ALESSANDRO

That speech at the end of volume 3 was kind of like the end of a conversation from the beginning of volume 1 chapter 1 when we thought Salem was just the narrator. At least that's what I think.

Alfonso Ureta

I like the reference to the Real Sun Wukong where Sun said a jorney to the East referencing the journey to the West

Mare

Oh yeah...the fandom refers to this as the "Yangst Arc". She be yangsting.

I remember that scene with Taiyang and Professor Port and Oobleck pissing me off so much when it first aired. They mean well but they were essentially pushing Yang into something that she wasn't even ready for at that very moment. "...a piece of me is gone...and it's never coming back." I loved that line. What I love about the RWBY series is that you can't take this series at face value. I agree with you about the body models and how some of the apendages and how they're modeled are really "off"...this is how I feel about Sun's model. Also...doesn't anyone else feel like the 3D Models for the men look like they skipped "Leg Day?"

Yang's got that shit ON now! This volume was when Blake and Yang had their angst arcs, that's for sure.

Undeath Ghost

I always really loved the scene with the professors, Tai, and Yang. Especially the brutal joke about her arm. It really shows that Tai knows his daughter very well to trust that she would appreciate him making light of it. Because that's who they both are... People who make light of tough situations.
