My guess is 7 dime-a-dogs! And I think you missed the Lapis joke with Steven calling her Bob lol, he was just doing a silly rhyme ("no prob, Bob!") and she took it as he somehow thought her name was Bob rather than Lapis. Idk why but her deadpan response kills me every time lol. To be clear about Steven's mom, maybe you missed this detail because it's only briefly mentioned a handful of times, but in order to successfully have Steven, she had to give him her gem, effectively killing herself. They word it a bit more child-friendly "gave up her physical form to have you, Steven!", but that's what happened. She didn't die in a fight or a space adventure. I think Greg just didn't want Steven going to space because he's a kid and there are a lot of dangerous things about outer space even in our world. I feel like most parents would not allow their, what, 8-year old? to blast off into space on an untested rocket with an alien that only kinda understands human physiology. Doesn't mean your van spaceship theory is wrong, just that if it's right, that isn't why Greg wouldn't let him go.

Greg’s uncle and aunt were a married couple, not siblings. 😂 The joke being set up was that they hung on to every possession they owned, just like Greg did with his storage unit in episode 2. He’s basically realizing his family may have a hoarding problem.
