Woo! It's been a hell of a week and this was the post I needed!

I've never thought about Qrow and Raven's name perhaps being adopted when they got their powers from Ozpin. Sometimes you really get me thinking, Alex. I love your comments about Ren and Nora. They are opposites in some ways and oh so similar in others. I love their dynamic and you're right they belong together. Renora deserves happily ever after. Your conversation about the ships.....at one point you said something about a game-of-thrones esque ship like Blake and Yang but I think you meant Ruby and Yang. Anyways, yep I felt the same way as you about Blake and Sun being too in your face. I felt the same about the vibe of the Blake and Yang which is called Bumblebee. By the way, I know you were joking but the ship name for Weiss and Yang is Freezerburn. All of that goes back to the early Volumes and their group attacks. Who knows if any of these ships will sail or if none of them will. Time will tell. I'm looking forward to you fast-tracking Volume 5. Everyone has their favorite volume in the community. Many say its three. I say its four. Many others say its six. I've only known one that said its five and they were a reactor too. I think you have a positive outlook that all the Volumes have their boons and failings.

Omg the "was she jealous" bit was so funny lol

RWBY specializes in Subversions and Inversions of popular tropes. So anything that was deemed conventional storytelling in the past is something CRWBY (RWBY Crew) overlooks. Just when you think it's going down a particular path, there's either a twist or just something completely unexpected which is why I love this series. It's a very progressive series which is partly why this series became very polarizing. Incels wanted what was considered typical and CRWBY didn't give them that which is something I applaud each and everyday. I love their fresh take on things and some of the fandom has a problem with it. In related news, the Official RWBY social media accounts announced that the writers will be sharing some details about volume 10 and other updates. But that news will most likely happen at Anime Expo. There seems to be a specific date that they choose to reveal big RWBY news and it's always on July 5th which is the anniversary of RWBY's debut at RTX (Rooster Teeth's former convention) https://x.com/VIZMedia/status/2065476680739848320?s=20 https://x.com/OfficialRWBY/status/2066898600534184109?s=20 So Viz Media (RWBY's new owners) had used that date to announce things in the past (during Anime Expo) like: - Viz Media's RWBY Aqcuisition - Volume 10 greenlight - RWBY Volumes 1-9 returning to streaming services (Hulu, Pluto TV) - Also the announcement of BluRay and DVD media re-released with special edition cards. So that particular date is an important one in RWBY history. Although since the 5th lands on a Sunday this year, there's the possibility they may just announce it during their July 4 Viz panel at AX2026

Whooooo. Caught up before the next upload. Loving your insights. I won't speak on this volume, but watching you call stuff in the earlier volumes was fun.

Not sure how I missed this but let's freaking go!

We explicitly know We Qrows name did not come from Ozpin. He told RNJR in V4 that his name comes from his semblance, aka that Crows are an omen of bad luck.
