Similar to our WW1 operation: June 7, 1917, at 3:10 a.m., the British Second Army detonated 19 underground mines beneath German lines at Messines Ridge, Belgium, creating one of the largest pre-nuclear explosions in history. Roughly 470–600 tons of explosives created a massive, coordinated blast. There are craters from that explosion still visible today. Due to Tanya's young age military regulations have prohibited her from alcohol or smoking.
