And that right there was an entire Light Novel volume. When this season came out I was blown away that they actually finished the Mixed Training camp in TWO episodes. They cut out SO much it's like they weren't even trying to adapt the novels. They didn't even include like half the rules of the camp because they were trying to blow through it so quickly. There was a frankly absurd amount of Class Points up for grabs in this Special Exam and they didn't even mention it. They at least mentioned that the students themselves chose their groups and who was leader, but then they didn't show the group selections happening! They didn't outline the rules for forming groups which are the entire reason that the group of 'misfits' that Kiyo was a part of even existed. They also only mentioned the expulsion penalty of being a leader, but they did not mention that the leader's class gets double the rewards from the results! They excluded everything about this exam that gives it meaning in terms of class standing and only focused on the expulsion part. Needless to say I was disappointed. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THEY SKIPPED is that some of the first year boys had a literal dick measuring contest in the baths one night! BTW Koenji and Kiyo canonically have absolutely massive penises lol

Dick jokes aside, they absolutely butchered this exam in the anime adaptation.
