Yo guys! Here's my tutorial on how I prepare my DJ sets. Not gate keeping anything. This is how I really do it. Quick important things to notice:- know your intro track / know your last track.- get into the Camelot wheel / mixed in key.- buy your songs of Beatport. No mp3 converter shit. WAV all the way.Hope this was helpful!!

Awesome video man, really really helpful. Quick question about tempo you mentioned at the end, I've seen people playing the whole dnb set at a higher tempo around 178 or so, do you ever do that or just stick to regular 174/175? Sorry if I overheard it and you already said that in the video

Arcando

Much love back brother!

It depends! For Rampage we went to like 180 bpm, but for more commercial shows I’s just stick to 174bpm. The faster, the harder

Absolute gold! As a mobile DJ, getting a peek into the workflow of a pro festival DJ was next level. Loved every second of it!!!!!!!!!!! 🔥

Good video, a lot of things I do similarly but with memory points :) I use them as cue point and hot cues as info where vocal starts or where I want to mix in. Really helps when you play 3+ decks quite quickly. It’s good to prepare your set to give your best to the crowd! I’m gonna throw a tip I once heard in A.M.C stream - make a mp3/wav with no sound, 10s is enough. Throw it into rekordbox, remove its name so it shows as empty bar. Now you have a separator! I usually throw a bunch before I start making playlist to have stuff more organized or have a separate playlist with good double drops, each separated in groups of 2-3-4 containing tracks that are part of it! Thanks Marc for your work and inspiration! I think I gotta send my track to demo drop this month. Haven’t been so close to finishing one in some time 🫶

Making your own version of a track in Ableton with a nice transition is a nice idea... ! Thumbs up!

Lol seeing thing video, this is exactly what ive been doing myself, guess we think alike xD

i could be wrong about this but i think the only difference between memory and hot cues is that a memory cue wont trigger playback. so you just jump to the track position
