Necroix's Journal #1 – Where it all starts... (Patreon)

Me? Necroix. Necro. Long time dev and AfterDark's magician.

First of all, I'm glad you are all enjoying the game, you have no idea how much it means to me, to us. I've been trying to make an Ero VN for a while now but with little to no success and it became so frustrating. I've done way too many demos in way too many different technologies but one thing or another always went wrong and wasn't able to continue with it. I had way too many ideas that I wanted to explore and be able to do but was never able to find a stable team. But I never gave up.

And alas! I reached out to Dove with an idea and he was more than intrigued, we grinded the first iteration of the game but noticed that something was lacking, that our writing was lacking, then comes Dr.Nystrom. And long story short, we are here.

A goal that I have is for us to be able to work on Lust in Runeterra as our full time jobs. You have no idea how much we have planned, how much we want to to do. If we ever reach that point, I know that we could make even more and better updates, bring you a lot more content and bring to life all the ideas that we have in store for you.

It's been fun developing Lust in Runeterra, more with the card battler that we introduced. Finding a way to implement it that was within the limitations of renpy was challenging but fun. I could rant a lot about the limitations, tradeoffs and other boring stuff but that's to be done later. I know there are things that can be improved and, believe me, I'm trying to improve it as much as possible so it feels more fluid and natural.

This coming update has been so fun to work on, I really don't want to give a lot away but expect the battler to evolve more as we go on.

Oh, and small interesting fact about my artistic talent.

I have none.
