Dev Report #5 – 0.1.3 Backgrounds! (Patreon)

We’re happy to share that all the main backgrounds for the upcoming 0.1.3 update are now complete!

The city is the heart of this update, so we focused on making it feel alive and worth exploring 🌆.

While the main areas are ready, we’re still working on a few optional backgrounds to make the world feel even richer. These aren’t strictly necessary for the story beats in 0.1.3, but we know details matter—and we love adding those extra touches.

Looking ahead, for 0.1.4, we’ll be revisiting and improving the older backgrounds from earlier builds. This way, everything stays consistent in quality and style.

Since this update’s story is city-focused, you’ll be spending most of your time in its bustling streets and halls. But don’t worry—there will still be some cozy (and maybe steamy 😉) moments back home with Karma and Irelia.
