Hey everyone!

Before anything else, the script for the upcoming 0.1.4 is complete. With that out of the way...

I wanted to take a moment to share how development has been evolving from my side. When I first started, my main focus was the writing—making sure the characters feel alive and that their relationships with the MC grow naturally. I’ve never been a fan of adult games where everyone instantly falls in love with the protagonist (or becomes a slave to his every whim after a kiss or two), so pacing has always been very important to me. I hope that's been coming across!

Lately, I’ve also started adding more branches into the story, so the world reacts more directly to your choices. Of course, this won’t cut people off from seeing lewd content—it just means the path you take to reach it can feel a little more personal (And yes, we will put a gallery into the game by the end of Chapter 1).

At the same time, my responsibilities have grown from just writing a script to actively shaping the game itself:

-Helping refine the battle system and its flow.

-Giving input on the look and presentation of sprites and effects.

-Guiding background art direction.

-Keeping track of variables, routes, and pathing to make sure choices matter.

-Addressing the economy system and how rewards fit into gameplay.

-Designing side content that adds fun without becoming a chore.

On that last point—I’d love to hear your suggestions! What kind of side content feels rewarding in an adult game without dragging things down? Right now, I’ve been thinking beyond just essence rewards: maybe outfits, new cards. or alternative paths.

Your ideas could really help us shape this in a way that feels engaging.

As the game grows, so does its scope—and with that, the fine-tuning needed to make everything fit together becomes far more complex. I’ve been really enjoying getting to know the game development process better, and it’s impressive (and sometimes overwhelming) to see how many factors weigh into each decision or direction I want to take with the story. It’s not just about writing a script anymore—it’s about asking: can this mechanic enhance the storytelling? Is it viable as a system in the game? Is it worth the time to design, implement, and test? It’s a very different process compared to more conventional writing, because the interactive element is such a huge and defining part of it.

Anyway, thanks again for being here and giving us feedback—it’s your support that lets us keep pushing forward!
