Dev Report #17 — Some Progress! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

It’s time for another dev update! We’re continuing work on v0.1.7, and while things haven’t been moving quite as quickly as we’d hoped, we still have progress to share across all departments.

📔 Writing — Almost There!

The script for v0.1.7 is mostly finished! There are still a few things to polish (mostly lewd scenes and the endings), but the bulk of the writing is behind us.

🎮 Programming — Something Secret Is Brewing...

On the programming side, we have a little something special in the works. 👀

A new, super-secret feature is almost fully implemented! We’re not ready to reveal what it is yet, but we’re excited about it and hope you will be too.

As for the main story quest (MSQ), roughly 40% is implemented so far. There’s still quite a bit to do, and testing remains an important part of the process before everything is ready for release.

🎨Art Department — Working Around Setbacks

Unfortunately, the situations Cheem and Dove have been dealing with have slowed our art production down considerably.

Cheem is still dealing with her computer issues, while Dove needed time to recover from surgery before he returned to drawing. We’re working around these setbacks to try to meet our original schedule.

Still, we wanted to share a couple of work-in-progress backgrounds from Cheem’s side of things.

Both are still works in progress, but we hope you enjoy this little sneak peek of what’s coming!

We’re doing our best to keep things moving without compromising the quality we want for the update.
