Closing Tier 2 Temporarily (Patreon)

Hey everyone (mainly Tier 2 members), I’m gonna be making a pretty big change for the foreseeable future. I will be closing Tier 2 as a whole for a while. I very much appreciate all the new members and your support, and I love getting all the varied ideas for the requests, but I’ve come to realize I’ve taken on too much too fast.

I’ll be closing the Tier 2 option for a few months to help clear my schedule and let me focus on my bigger projects that I’ve been neglecting. While the tier will be closing, and I won’t be accepting any further requests for now, all of the pending requests that have been paid for will be completed.

To get around Patreon's weird mechanics when it comes to removing membership Tiers, I will be lowering the price of Tier 2 to the same price as Tier 1 ($5) to make both Tiers pretty much identical.

I'll unpublish Tier 2, which will leave those currently subscribed to it still active. When I eventually reopen requests, the Tier will be changed back to what it was and those still subbed will maintain their membership and their slots.

If you were primarily subscribed to Tier 2 for the requests themselves and are not interested in the Tier 1 benefits, I suggest unsubscribing from my Patreon entirely.

I apologize for this weird roundabout way of closing Tier 2 but I would like to avoid even more confusion by outright removing/deleting the Tier.

Again, I want to thank everyone who’s chosen to support me here on Patreon, especially those who’ve subscribed to Tier 2. It’s made me extremely happy and proud that all of you have chosen to support me. I apologize to the newer Tier 2 members for making this change so soon after opening the new slots, and to all Tier 2 members for doing it not long after establishing proper rules, but I feel this change will help improve my workflow and approach to Tier 2 when it eventually reopens properly.

Thank you for reading, and for your support!
