📦 CargoLite – Cars & Vans v1.2 (Patreon)

This update introduces 8 new custom jobs, bringing the total to 44 cargo and job types, alongside shorter passenger journeys and more realistic company assignments.

What’s New in v1.2

• Uber Ride — Passenger transport. Available for Car & Van.

• Forgotten Passport — Deliver a traveller’s forgotten passport. Available for Car & Van.

• Customs Documents — Paperwork deliveries for ports, airports and logistics companies. Available for Car & Van.

• Blood Samples — Medical courier deliveries. Available for Car & Van.

• Marine Spare Parts — Parts for maritime and port operations. Available for Van only.

• Navigation Equipment — Maritime navigation electronics. Available for Car & Van.

• Weed Packages ⚠️ — Rare illegal cargo with higher payouts. Available for Car & Van.

• Counterfeit Rolex Watches ⚠️ — Rare illegal counterfeit goods with higher payouts. Available for Car & Van.

All eight additions include custom 3D cargo images, realistic weights, individually adjusted payouts and suitable company assignments.

Shorter Passenger Journeys

Airport Passengers and Uber Ride are now limited to a maximum job distance of 300 km, making them better suited to local and regional journeys.

Forgotten Passport deliveries are also limited to 300 km.

VIP Transfer and Business Passengers remain unchanged and can still offer longer journeys.

More Realistic Company Assignments

Company assignments have been reviewed again across the cargo selection to better match each job to its pickup location.

This includes more specific assignments for farms, oil companies, construction sites, container terminals and maritime locations, with suitable document, parcel and passenger jobs assigned to other businesses.

CargoLite continues to use two separate invisible trailers, with different job selections for cars and vans. The regular ETS2 truck Cargo Market remains unaffected.

Replace your previous CargoLite .scs file with the new version and activate it in the Mod Manager. Keep only one CargoLite version active.

Hi MarcOT When I try to pick up a shipment in Van, I accept the job from the company and approach the area, but I can’t pick it up—the area stays white and doesn’t turn green. Can you help me?

Hey, it should work. try to move the car a bit more to the front. (not reversing too much into the area) I'm currently trying to make the area even more easily accesible, but it is maybe not possible because the invisible trailer in the back still has some "invisible space"

I’ve tried using the new ATS car DLC that was ported to ETS2, but it doesn't work right; when you hook up the trailer, the car skids, becomes unstable, and gets speed-limited. Is there any way to create cargo loads for those imported ATS cars?

That setup isn’t officially supported, and porting DLC vehicles between ATS and ETS2 is also not something I can really support. The Road Trip vehicles probably use a different physics/vehicle system than normal ETS2 car mods, so that is very likely why the invisible trailer behaves incorrectly, with skidding, instability and speed limiting.
