Try passenger transport in American Truck Simulator with the Passenger Routes Demo version!

Passenger Routes is a passenger-focused map expansion built around Car Mode and the Road Trip: Ford DLC. It adds dedicated places to pick people up and drop them off, giving your road trips a new purpose.

This free demo includes five selected locations in Illinois, with all four passenger services available within the demo network.

🚗 Four Passenger Services

• Uber Ride — Everyday journeys from city pickup points and other supported locations.• Business Passengers — Business journeys and transfers.• Airport Passengers — Departures from Chicago Airport to eligible hotel and business destinations.• VIP Transfer — Premium journeys between airport, hotel and business locations.

Pickup points offer Uber Ride only, as both starting points and destinations.

The demo retains the full version’s service rules and distance limits:

• Uber Ride: up to 250 miles• Airport Passengers: up to 350 miles• Business Passengers: up to 1,000 miles• VIP Transfer: up to 1,000 miles

The smaller demo network naturally offers a more limited selection of routes. Actual journeys depend on the available destinations and road connections.

• ATS 1.61• Road Trip: Ford DLC• Illinois, Iowa and Missouri map DLCs• Original SCS map

All five demo locations are in Illinois. The demo retains the DLC requirements of the v1.0 release.

Passenger accessories are included for the supported Ford Mustang, Ford F-150, Ford Bronco and Ford Crown Victoria.

⚠️ No DeadEnds! — Strongly Recommended

Please install and activate the ATS version of No DeadEnds! alongside Passenger Routes.

It is optional, but invisible barriers may otherwise block access to some locations.

The Passenger Routes Demo is attached to this post.

Place the downloaded demo .scs file in Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.

Enable Passenger Routes - Demo in the Mod Manager.

Place No DeadEnds! for ATS above Passenger Routes.

Switch to Car Mode, use a supported Road Trip Ford vehicle and open the Dispatch Market.

Activate either the Demo OR the Full Version — never both together. Disable older Passenger Routes ATS builds too. Finish any active passenger job before switching editions.

Make sure you have discovered the relevant cities and passenger locations with your vehicle. Undiscovered starting locations may not appear in your market selection.

Job availability depends on your location, road connections, supported vehicle and driver profile.

The full Passenger Routes v1.0 for ATS includes 76 locations across Illinois, Iowa and Missouri:

• 47 Pickup Points• 12 Hotels• 13 Business Locations• 4 Airports

The long-term plan is to gradually expand the passenger network across the entire ATS map.

The full version is available through the basic membership tier.

For crashes, please provide the game.log.txt from immediately after the crash.
