⚠️incoming long ass rant that isn't directed at you but this fuckass show </3 as a kangmin bias,, that entire kangmin and hengyu sequence was heartbreaking because you can clearly tell they're both under extreme stress and pressure from the survival show format entering its final stages and the masters only doubling down with unhelpful criticisms that added unnecessary weight to the overall tense environment WAS SICKENING to watch. hengyu was clearly on the verge of really breaking down in the moment and he even had trouble catching his breath — i don't care who the fuck you are,, who in their right mind would make those remarks,, talking about "get a grip" and "no depressive energy" .... don't piss me off 😡 onestar was foul for that,, did not appreciate any of his comments there at all. i was really upset watching that for the first time,, and while i deeply sympathize with kangmin and can understand how he felt in those moments,, that sense of urgency and desperation led him to say some things to hengyu that weren't productive and only made him feel worse about the way he had preformed. it wasn't the right call and i can tell kangmin wasn't thinking straight either because he (allegedly) said to not make mistakes after hengyu listened to the masters,, or should i say onestar,, basically berate him IN FRONT OF HIS TEAMMATES, ON THAT STAGE WHILE HE WAS IN THAT VULNERABLE POSITION,, like you said. i know you're more caught up on these eps in present so i won't spend too much time on this but girl.... the amount of hate kangmin had gotten from this episode specifically was disgusting. i think it's completely valid to have your reservations about his behaviour here and the way he acted but the way some people talk about him is beyond odd. i don't know as someone who knew and was familiar with kangmin and verivery years back i obviously feel that bias and protectiveness because that's my baby,, but i can also call out things that aren't appropriate while still being fair and respectful to these idols/trainees/contestants and their situations because at the end of the day everyone is under so much stress and there's always gonna be days where things are mentally draining. i just wish the critiques were handled differently because all it did was add fuel to the fire and it was outright mean in my opinion. toward hengyu,, and it just stressed out kangmin even more. none of that helped,, and onestar really thought he did something lmfao. anyway,, a lot of the eliminated c planet trainees mentioned kangmin in their lives or other fanmeet related content and in their words kangmin is truly the bridge between k planet and c planet. they've talked about how nice he is to everyone,, and just genuinely kind in getting all the c planet contestants comfortable in adjusting to the new format of the show. and it's heartwarming to hear because that's the loveable kangmin we know and adore — so this edit was so sad to sit through because i know it isn't a representation of his personality at all,, but folks who don't know him or verivery are quick to jump on the hate hjdkls. but considering how well eliminated contestants have spoken about kangmin,, i think it's truly apparent how much of a sweetheart he really is and this point in the show was definitely his lowest in terms of where he was in his head. i'm glad he isn't in that headspace anymore. i love him so much it makes me emotional. 🩷

the chains performance was SO gay and ultimately my favourite too,, easily 🤭❤️‍🔥 i did wanna ask though cause i'm curious: did you watch the b2p finale as it was streaming live or did you just watch it after/days later. and if so did you get spoiled for the final line up?? i hope not cause that would really suck 😭😭
