i haven't seen your reaction yet but i just started this the other day and ended up binging the eps that have been released so far so i may be a lil obsessed LOL (but i am more drawn to romances with this type of vibe, the ones that lean towards dark/toxic/angsty but i love the soft and cute ones too if i'm in the mood lol) 0:18 - my favorite Chinese BLs are quite on the toxic/dark side bc my all time favorites are To My Shore and Addicted Heroin and i enjoyed ABO Desire. i did try Revenged Love, but it didn't keep me hooked unfortunately (i know it's a popular one but oh well). i also really liked Double Helix, which is another toxic one lmao (which btw, i find it so ironic that all these Chinese BLs have been rising since last year as most of them aired last year bc, if i remember correctly, the reason Addicted Heroin never got a continuation years ago when it aired was bc of the whole China ban with LGBTQ+ shows airing in China and it made me sad Addicted was left on a "cliffhanger" but with the rise of it now, it kinda gives me hope it will be continued one day, maybe 😭). 1:04 - so i've never seen Boys Planet, but aside from Ollie, i'm also aware there's another lead actor, Minlee, in an ongoing BL called Payback who was also in Boys Planet AND Si Woo (who was in BLANK2Y) is another lead in an ongoing BL called The Prosecutor's Proposal. XD
