Birthday plus New Set (Patreon)

Today is my birthday! w00t!

To celebrate, my partner and I spent yesterday starting a new set in the studio: a graffiti bombed out bathroom. This is just the first pass, in the next week or so, we'll be adding more tags/throw ups so it's more layered - plus everyone who comes to shoot will be welcomed to add their own scribbles/stickers. We'll also be installing a urinal that was salvaged from the industrial men's room I used to shoot in at the beginning of my career. Eventually, a toilet people can actually use will be added as well.

And as the pièce de résistance, I have acquired four working CR-TVs to stack on top of each other and daisy chain in the corner. The very top one being a TV-VHS that will be used to play *fun* VHS tapes on all of them during shoots ;)

This set will be used for a new series flashing back to the days of friends and I always taking tons of dirty instax and cell phone pics in the bathrooms of the bars/venues we were hanging out at. I plan to predominantly shoot this series with instax film and all digitals will be less polished for a seedy aesthetic. Very caught in the act vibes.
