💔I'm about halfway through inking the first chapter redo! I'm not back up to my usual speed but it feels so good to be drawing these boys again. Naturally, I hate the art and writing on the earlier chapters and am tempted to redo them all, but I really don't have the bandwidth...🤔💀Am aiming for a late September run of about 3 new chapters!

What I love the most about your Clark (and other characters) is that you put emphasis on his civilian identity. Yeah, he's Superman just like we all know and love him, but CLARK is the focus. It's who he is as Clark that we see the most. Yes, he's an alien, but he was raised as a human with human socialization and reactions. He's still relatable because of who he is out of the cape, and I feel a lot of big media forgets that. He's super big and powerful, yes, but he's also insecure about who he is outside of Superman because basically everyone around him puts Superman on a pedestal, and he's scared that he live up to that parasocial expectation, especially in a romantic relationship. People tend to see him as just Superman and forgets that Clark is him too, maybe even more. Any media that covers not just Superman, but Clark Joseph Kent in all his bumbling and shy yet compassionate glory makes me happy. Justice Beach really lives up to the "justice" part for Clark in my eyes. Can't wait for more!
