322 - Queen Trainer Soundtrack. (Patreon)

Hello, dear bros! I have some big news to share. The rumors about this have been circulating for quite sometime now in the rap community, but it was never confirmed officially. Well, it is now. I am hereby announcing my collaboration with a young and upcoming rap artist: Dr.Lazare. The vid above is a little preview of our upcoming album called: "AKABUR the game master". Be on a look out for the full release on iTunes soon*OK. With this out of the way let us return to our regular programming. Personally I am no a big fan of all this April's fool nonsense, but today is Monday and it's April 1st and Mr.Lazare sent me this cool mp3 file out of the blue, so I felt like the universe is talking to me.

The games. Last week I felt like revisiting one of my all time favorite Spidey games: Sprider-Man 2 ofor PlayStation2. The PS2 version looks a bit crappy when emulated, so I went with Game Cube version instead, but it's exactly the same game.

Not going to lie, the graphics are not the best, but after about 10 minutes you stop noticing it. What I like about this game is the open world and the day-night circle. Watching the sun set from a traffic light pole still feels great.

Oh and, the game looks like 10 times better during the night. Anyway, I remember this game vividly because back in the day I was playing it while waiting for GTA:SA to come out. Basically it was my GTA for a while. Also it has one of the best (IMHO) versions of the Black Cat. That mission in the beginning where you get to chase after her through the night city under the full moon is still fresh in my memory. (Could be because I replayed it yesterday XD).

Speaking of the Black Cat. Here is a fun video I found called "Black Cat Evolution", to me personally it's more like "Black Cat Regression" though. The movies. New Bad Boys movie looks like it could be fun. To be honest I don't watch modern anything anymore. Although couple of years ago I did make and exception for Top Gun Maverick, which was pretty awesome by the way. I don't know, maybe Bad Boys 4 will be good, we will see I guess.

The work. Finally to the part everyone is waiting for: the work news. Last week I finally finished all the birthday bullshit! Fucking finally! I decided to postpone working on the achievements and proceeded to the placeholder art assets instead. It's been so long since I drew anything that at first I thought I forgot how to do it. It was a false alarm though, eventually I managed to remember which hand I usually use to hold the pencil.The plan. This week I hope to do a lot more of drawing and coloring and all that stuff, so next Monday Post should contain a lot of fun sneak peeks. Other than that I plan to keep on playing Spider-Man 2 and live the happy live completely outside of the modern entertainment industry. That's all. I will see you all next week, bros. This Dr. Lazare seems to me to have a promising future in US rap... I understand and share his enthusiasm for the forthcoming Queen Trainer release (soon). Speaking of the "work" part, it's impressive all those faces to draw!!!! 🤩 I thought for events (like beauty pageant or circus) the idea was to draw only "shadows" of people face to save time? In any case, it looks great, both your style and the style of Disney's Aladdin cartoon! 👍 Will there be any famous characters from the Akavers or our world to recognize in the crowd? I remember I've had a dvd disk with a bunch of pirated spidey games back in early-mid 2000s, fun times... Spider-man 2 and Ultimate Spider-man was my favorites 💖

Impressive song, I dig it. I do remember the older Spider-man games were a blast to play, they had things worked out so you actually got into the web slinging intuitively, and that was nice. Haven't played the new ones, but I've seen some people do, and they seem to spend a lot more time running along than swinging for some reason!

All the rappers have been real quiet since this banger dropped. Maverick was really good, I loved that almost all special effects were real and not just CGI. And ngl, old games while they may not look the greatest, had so much more soul in them... Glad the work is progressing! I am also hard at work, only week and a half left before the deadline of my dissertation and I will be a free man! Take care Aka, and have a blessed week!

Is there any expected release date? Not because im impatient to see the next chapter in the story (I totally am). But more so i know when to keep an eye out for a new release.

As for the beauty pageant, I just want to say this right away: I had to cut it. Maybe I will add it in the Gold Edition. At the moment I just want to deliver the game. It's been in development a bit too long for my liking. As for the faces, I did want to put a lot of familiar faces into the crowd, since this is what I would normally do, but this background will be displayed quite a few times during the gameplay, which mean if I make it stand out too much it's gonna become annoying eventually. What I needed here is a generic crowd, nothing more. I will share the finished version on Monday. :)

I'd say Azalea had more than just "spicy parts" :) I put a ton of work in her story arc. That being said, Ata will have her moments. You'll have to discover it on your own though.

I have been doing what I do for more than a decade now (Primcess Trainer turned ten years recently. And during my career not once did I voice any release dates. I don't see the need to change that tradition. I understand how you feel but the answer will forever be: coming soon*

In my opinion the best Spider man game (excluded the PS4 version) was Shadow of Web. Amazing story, good feeling with swinging and a nice combat sistem. And of course one of the best Cat Woman's character design
