HELLO THERE, dear bros. I hope everyone is doing wonderfully. I mean I know you do! Why wouldn't you? Today is the best day of the week after all: MONDAY!

HECK YEAH! Had my driving exam on Friday and aced it! Well, I got a rather easy route so I guess I also get lucky, but what matters is I am finally done with all this crap and can blissfully forget everything I have learned ^_^ It will take the authorities about 2 months to print out my driver's ID card, so in the meantime I must carry around a piece of paper, which I should receive in a couple of days! Can't wait! (Just need to make sure I don't put on any Initial D music while driving for the first couple of weeks just in case :)

NEW AC GAME. I see a lot of people arguing over the new Assasin's Creed game. Personally I gave up on Ubisoft as a whole long time ago. Even before I gave up on the modern games in general. But if I had to choose sides on this one, I would probably go with the slow people's opinion: it really does not matter what race the main character is, (because the game is gonna be dogshit either way). That being said, I hear it's doing pretty well in pre-orders, despite no gameplay being shown. Oh well, at this point I am just an old man looking at the world from the comfort of my porch.

STELLA GLOW. I am about 30 hours in and continue to adore the game. This is pretty rare, because even with my precious persona 3 and 4 games I remember forcing myself a little at certain points. Stella Glow has an incredibly well paced story delivery. I never get bored. ALSO, I checked the character descriptions and seeing so much effort put into this little detail has cemented my love for this game even more. Only old school Japanese games could mix cuteness and sexiness so effortlessly.

THE WORK. I was busy with the driving classes last week, so my worktime was limited, but I still managed to produce quite a few new art assets to replace more of the placeholder stuff. Make sure to check out EXTRA!! post for more info.OTHE THAN THAT, this was a good week. Honestly, only after finding out that I did pass the exam did it truly realize how tiered I was of taking this trips every day, and how happy I am to be done with this stage of my life. All in all things are getting back to normal. Thank you for your support, bros. And I will see you all next week.-Aka-A few links just in case:buymeacoffee.com/akabursubscribestar.adult/akaburitch.io/profile/akaburbitchute.com/akaburhttps://akabur.creator-spring.comhttps://spacehey.com/notomorrow

Let’s goooo. I actually have my theory test in a few hours. Congrats man

Alpha Williams

Ah congrats and I see your fellow Libra, make sense why I loved your games.

Per Gustafsson

Congratulations on passing the test!

akabur

For real? Best of luck, man!

akabur

Well of course, my fellow man of culture.

GamerLegend09

😆🙌🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Congratulations Akaman!!! Welcome to the Drivers Club!

Ace

Congrats on getting your wheels—awesome news! On the AC controversy, I agree that race does not matter, but if I want to play a game in feudal Japan, I usually want to do it with, I don't know, a Japanese guy? Feels like the shogun controversy all over again...

GamerLegend09

I’m going to share some important words of wisdom with you right here (I’m telling you from my personal experience on the road) 99% of the drivers you’ll see next to, in front, & in Back of you, are assholes….that can or will do the following: Drive too close behind or to the side of you, Cut in Front of you by the Skin of your teeth (I mean when your just barely 1 car space behind a driver in front of you when you have to drive in cramped city’s like New York for example) flash their High Beams at you most of the time from behind you and sometimes from the opposite side of you (sometimes without realizing it but mostly ignorant of having them on) And lastly (this one always pisses off ANY Driver) hitting their Brakes in front of you when there’s plenty of space. 😠 aka Break Checking I’m sorry if this dampens your Spirit a little but if I can protect a dear friend from any harm from what I went through or at least give a fair enough precaution i will not hold back

Henrik

Another skill mastered by mastah Akaman! Congratulations!

MrLazare

Well done Mister Takumi Fujiwara!!! Also to be avoided in the coming days, the soundtracks from Ridge Racer and Wipeout...

Nikraria

Congratulations man! Maybe you could go with some Kavinsky before Initial D, just to drive chill for a while.

DMG Entertainment

Good job on now being able to drive after the waifus. Also you don't know old boy, by the time you actually reach old I'll be dust.

Nepurin

Good job on your exam!!! Now night drives with good music are about to be the reality. You keep making me want to buy a 3DS with the constant Stella Glow shilling, I'm thinking of giving it a try using an emulator but it is (almost) always better to play the game on the original hardware.

Deonast

Congrats. Hmm Initial D music while driving. Back when I had a car I never drove with music, it could be I didn't trust myself or maybe just the tape deck only option was a bit limiting, old car. Happy driving travels.

Gordon Ramsay

Just passed. Onto the real test now. Any tips?

Xenogate

I've always been here and never commented. What a great achievement it is, congratulations! Remember to always assume that the other person does not know how to drive when you are behind the wheel to avoid indirect accidents. Best wishes!

Trevor Bond

Congrats man! You're now free of lessons and tests for a while once more! I hope you turn into a habitually safe and calm driver (and not a reckless rage case like most of hte people I know).

Deze Deze

Congratulations on passing your driver's license. I believed in you.)

Aren't you worried about people grabbing your Info Mr. Armstrong?

akabur

Yes, wipout is another good one! XD

akabur

Will look it up. Thank you for the suggestion. :)

akabur

Soon AI will evolve enough to come with new wonderful technology to extend human life! We both are gonna stick around for a while :)

akabur

Yes. I was always about public transportation, but it's nice to finally be the part of the car crowd, not gonna lie. P.S. I do have a 3DS but I am playing Stella Glow on an emulator. I regret my decision to be honest, should've sticked to original hardware with this one.

akabur

Well, long drives are much more fun with good music or an audio book. IMHO. Now I am low-key curious what made you quit driving.

akabur

I here by promote you, Xenogate, from a lowly lurker to a respectable commenter! Yes, I am trying to adopt a preventative driving mentality, both to avoid accidents and to not get angry without reason:)

akabur

Hahaha, I am one of the good guys, don't worry. Thanks for the encouragements, Trevor. As usual:)

akabur

Thank you, Deze Deze. Maybe it was your belief in me that made the examinator give me a pass, who knows? :)

akabur

Not everything as it seems in Thailand, you should be careful. And that I am from Idaho is a known fact.

akabur

Thank you. Glad to be here:)

akabur

The problem is that game (if it even exists, all they showed is a CGI trailer), would be full of other bad decisions. Oh, and let as not forget that it is written by a woman who doesn't look like she could write anything remotely fun and not preacy.

DMG Entertainment

My wife agreed with you saying "I'll have to suffer longer"

dudenumber4

Can't believe you'd dox yourself like this. Then again here I am commenting with my name in full view... Anyways, really looking forward to queen trainer! I've loved following along with your monday updates.

J - kob Wolf

Oh shit, is that your actual driver's license? I always thought you were Russian for some reason. Maybe because the Ren'py games with cartoonist artstyles always seem to have Russian translations...

akabur

Thank you for the advice. To be honest I didn't expect anything other from the people. A person can be nice, but people are often assholes :)

akabur

Hehe, thanks Taylor! Yes, I was born in the Idaho state. I guess the secret is out XD This was one hell of a journey for sure. It's not over yet, but I can definitely see the land on the horizon!

akabur

Yeah, right. I am from Idaho. XD Mr. Tomas Armstrong ^^

Deonast

Ah car was very old and costing a fair bit to keep on the road, I had another I had picked up cheap for spare parts even, but one day the breaks gave out when going down a mountain (manual so was able to slow myself down with gears and handbreak), but when I went to get a replacement part I couldn't find one, no one stocked it, parts people had to get out old books, had perishable rubbers (break proportioning valve) that no one had and I just said to the wreckers take the car away. I only used it on weekends as I'm near public transport and just rely on that as it is cheaper (but less convenient). In a year or two I probably will buy a new car (my mother is getting on in age and sometimes needs help to get to doctors and public transport is getting harder for her).
