HELLO, bros. It's Monday. Time to do my duty.HEALTH. Last Monday I wrote that I have almost recovered from my cold and the next morning I already felt worse again. I had to visit a doctor because I thought maybe I have a bronchitis or something. The doctor said I don't have any bronchitis but prescribed me some antibiotics to help fight off the infection. I have been coughing all week. I feel much better but now, but still don't feel fully cured. I never had a cough this annoying. Maybe it's some COVID mutation or maybe I am just getting old and weak.SHOP. Didn't upload anything new this time. Maybe next Monday.WORK. Doing writing, some UI stuff, playing with AI generation for the backgrounds. NINTENDO. Watched Nintendo SWICTH 2 direct. Hated everything about it: the console is bigger in size now, the dock has a cooling fan, the whole virtual cartridge thing is dumb, and the fact that some cartridges are actually just "key cards" tells me everything I need to know about the direction Nintendo is heading as a company. They added GameCube and like 3 games. That does not interest me either since I have the entire GC library at my disposal thanks to SteamDeck.

Hope you beat that sickness soon, on Nintendo, they are in their right to charge whatever they want, and we are on our right to not buy. It's like people forget games are a luxury item, not a basic need, unless they are Akabur games.

The cough lasted several weeks for me and even still hits a few times a day. I found lots of liquids and raw honey helped.

With all the news about key cards, the fact that games on online shops don't belong to us, cloud service companies being assholes etc., I think we're at the time when it's not that dumb anymore to keep the important stuff on DVD and blu-ray disks again...

Hi. I feel much better these days, but haven't recovered fully yet. As for Nintendo, the pricing does not bother me that much. What I am upset about is the lack of games that would interest me personally. But it's OK, I am an old man now, I'll just play my "retro" games.

Yeah, pretty much. I mean I have an entire ROM collections of games that I like on a USB drive. Unless somebody breaks into my house and steals that USB, my games will always be safe. And I plan when I get old to buy some of them from EBAY just to have the cases on the shelf. That's all I care about. Old games are the future for me. :)

Thanks. Yeah, it's been more than 2 weeks and I still haven't fully recovered. Hating this, to tell you the truth. But on the bright side, I do feel much better :) As for Nintendo, it may sound weird, but I loved Switch for being weak console. The same could be said for DS. Hardware limitations force the developers to adjust and also keeping the development price lower. Switch 2 seems like just another powerful "handheld" and I lost all interest -_-
