HELLO THERE, dear bros. This Monday, your omnipotent leader feels exhausted — not so much physically as mentally. So many foolish things happen in the world from day today... Usually I have the energy to just ignore it, but today I feel like after finishing writing this post I will be shutting down both my PC and my phone and will try reading a book or something. The modern world is just too much sometimes...

THE SHOP. Patreon had made changes to how things work on the site again. From what I understand, items that I add to the shop now get posted as paid posts and also get added to the shop. I don't like this to be honest. Keeping shop items and regular posts separate worked much better. But I am nobody and my opinions mean nothing. I should be happy they didn't kick NSFW artists from the site yet.

THE FULISHENSS. Last week I lamented Steam getting pressured into tightening the screws yet again, and a couple days later ITCH.io made an announcement about nuking a lot of NSFW games. From what I heard even people who paid for the games can't access them anymore. My games are still on the site for now, but for how much longer? All these news made me wonder what would happen to me if Patreon decided to crack down on NSFW creators. Oh, and let's not forget about fun things taking place in UK at the moment. Mark my words, this internet ID idea will spread to other countries as well. This is all so exhausting...

THE WORK. At the beginning of the week I have finished coloring bootleg Case Jones sprite and the rest of my work days I spent writing and coding. Nothing to report really, doing a lot or busy work. But at the same time it is nice to see the game starting to take shape. ^^

Besides all these dark news - I know it's been a while since Queen Trainer release, and you're working on another project... But I just wanted to say - it took me time to TRULY appreciate Queen Trainer. I'm almost 100% the game, and whoa! There's so much content and easy-to-miss details in this game. Moments like Dahr's thug commenting on your night exercises on the market square, or New Year party dialogues after the second year are different and refer to what happened at the previous New Year party. Also I just realized that EVERY single "advice" for Jasmine has at least 3 different CG - depending on your choice - I can see why the game took you 3 years. I think that was part of my problem - because seems like initially you planned Jasmine to be central to the game, so she got million CGs, but in the end Jasmine was moved to the background a bit - there's not much story with her, dialogues are short, but she got more CGs than anyone else. Just wanted you to know that someone notices your efforts, man XD

Yeah. Queen Trainer took insane amount of planning. And looking back now I think I was trying to do too many things at once: I was trying to do the Breath of The Wild thing with ability to go after the girls in any order and making the game react to that and a whole tone of other little things that I thought would liven up the gameplay. Well, whatever, I got it out my system. Next game will be much more straightforward. P.S. Thank you for the feedback and kinds words.

Indeed, and all this situation shows that Visa/Mastercard is a monopoly on payment methods, and I hope this somehow breaks, because I don't need a third party to tell me where to spend my money. Hope we can find a way out of this

The only difference is that "left" currently is in power in the West, so 99.99% of censorship is coming from them. I spent some time in very woke liberal circle in recent years (because same as you I thought I was on the left) and geez.... those people are something. And they were communists, of course. It's not about left or right. It's about opposing censorship, about freedom. Yeah, today in the West that qualifies you as "right wing". Whatever, doesn't matter. I think the words we are using are doing more harm than good. Rushing to call something Fascist just lets things get caught in the mud of whataboutism and technicalities. There are people, regardless of political leaning, that want to control us. To force us to adhere to their beliefs and to give them power over us. No matter what they believe, whether it's left or right, this is ALWAYS wrong. No matter the content, as long as no one was actually harmed in the creation of it, we should never let someone else decide for us what we have access to. The choice should always be ours to decide for ourselves.

These people who are supposed *process* payments and *host* content (i.e. one step above parasites) deem themselves to be the arbiters of what is acceptable outside the bounds of even what is legal? "Fascist" still just about means something, though and it's an important word. Might I suggest (as a Brit) "retarded" or "absolutely retarded", instead? As of right now I can still access Patreon without having to literally take a fucking picture of my 40 year old face to prove I'm not underage while the twelve year olds just use a VPN, or risk being unable to use a service that I pay for. There are already sites, like CivitAI that are just not serving British users at all, any more because it's not worth it for them to implement this insane system.

As a UK resident, I'm not sure how long I'll be able to continue supporting people over Patreon. I still have access to Patreon at the moment but who knows how long that will last? I'm not giving the Prime Minister a picture of my wanking face every time I log in, so I will have to explore other options (using my imagination? Learning to draw? I am sure there will be new opportunities, will just have to work harder to find them. Even in china they still use VPN, it's harder to set up because as far as I know their internet was built in the future restrictions in mind. I would assume European internet infrastructure is less sophisticated and it will be hard to limit the access entirely. This is just my assumptions of course -_-

ll I can say is, call your payment processors and banks and take as much time as possible (this is the solution). I've been calling everyday. The reason phone call complaints are effective with these payment processor companies is because it takes up valuable time that the company could be otherwise dealing with other issues. Phone support is expensive and slow, which makes it an ideal pressure point A large public outcry is what causes companies to pay attention and consider backtracking. Make a script about why this is bad (payment processor companies shouldn't be censoring legal material because they personally think it's immoral and it's an attack on free speech - you can ask AI to create a script for you if you don't have to time to write a long message) then call VISA/MasterCard/STRIPE/Paypal, you'll be on hold for a while because everyone is calling, and say you'd like to lodge a complaint. Then when they ask what this is in regards to, just start reading your script. Sometimes the rep will try to cut you off once they find out what the complaint is about, but just ask whether or not phone call complaints are reported, if they say yes, then say you want your call to be reported and heard and then read your script. If they say no, that's really weird and just keep insisting and eventually they will try to transfer you to a supervisor or something. The longer the message the better since that's the point. We essentially have to keep this up for the next few weeks if we want something to happen. We don’t need to be aggressive - just persistent.
