Well, here it is: the proper ending to the whole "Happy Birthday, Guys" idea, where April presents Irma to her turtle friends as a gift.

Master Splinter also finds a moment to join the party, although he couldn't care less about Irma since he was always an April guy. ^_^

Yet again, all that survived is the high-resolution JPEG. All the WIP materials have unfortunately been lost to time. T_T

It's a great follow up from 2, a shame about the WIP, but the result remains amazing, great job

Thanks for the “part 2” to last week’s birthday scene, Aka. ^_^ I love how "chaotic" the composition is while still staying perfectly readable. There is so much going on, but the silhouettes, poses, and facial expressions guide the eye really well. The thick clean linework, the flat but warm colors, the sewer lighting, and all the little background details (spiderman hiding as always) give it that strong old-school cartoon/comic energy. And the “30 seconds later” subtitle says everything. In most birthday parties, 30 seconds later means someone is cutting the cake. In the TMNT lair, apparently it means the entire party has already turned into a full-scale Akabur educational scene 😄 Too bad the WIPs were lost, but the high-res JPEG is a great gift from 2012 . Thanks again for sharing it!

Am I going crazy or is Irma's right foot reversed?

Fucking hell... You're right. 0_0 Ugh, what the hell? Looking at it now, I feel like I'm going crazy myself. Not only did I never notice this while drawing and coloring the piece, but I never noticed it in all the years afterward either! How is that even possible? I swear it looked perfectly fine until you pointed it out... Damn. That's embarrassing. T_T

Thank you! :) Yeah, it's a real shame about the missing WIP materials. Back then I wasn't very careful about preserving that sort of stuff, and now every time I dig up an old drawing it's like opening a treasure chest and finding half the treasure missing. T_T

Thanks! Birthday parties always have a lot of "educational" potential when it comes to the TMNT universe. At least in my mind. ^_^
