450 - Suikoden V is okay... (Patreon)

HELLO and welcome to another Monday Post. A few days ago, when I was reading comments under the new Warcraft game announcement, there was a comment saying: "2030? If you're in your 30s, that's like in 3 months." To which I would like to add: if you're in your 40s, it's like in 3 weeks. -_-
NEW GAMES! There were quite a few announcements last week, but all of them were of the "point and laugh" kind. Best-case scenario, StarCraft will be awarded the on-rails shooter of the year in 2070, and it will be a game fully created by AI. The rest of the announcements were about the same: Diablo, WoW, all the good stuff. The modern audiences eat good. Also, I see everyone is making fun of the new Wolverine game now, and it's kind of impressive, since you need to create a really special type of product to rub even the normies the wrong way.
NINTENDO DIRECT. Nintendo keeps on winning simply by releasing new games, but the games themselves don't interest me in the slightest. The Zelda remake didn't need to exist, but it does, and it looks like an AI game (even though it's not). Level-5 embarrassed themselves with literal AI slop, giving us a good idea of what to expect from Japanese studios in the future. I honestly have no desire nor energy to whine about this anymore. I would much rather spend an hour typing out my thoughts on some old PS2 game, which is exactly what I plan to do for the remainder of this post ^_^
URDA'S PANTIES. Despite still feeling salty about the whole bath thing, I continue to play Suikoden V. I recruited a super cute elven archer girl, and now every time she gets knocked down in a fight, I am treated to a view of her green panties. (Because the dark void wasn't invented yet in the PS2 era.) It's the little things, really...
THE SLUT. I also recruited Jeane, who is "the slut" of the game. I really got that "gotta add her to my harem" feeling when I was doing her quest and adding her to the list of my castle inhabitants later. But here is the problem: you have zero ways to interact with the characters you recruit. There are no side quests with them, and because you can't control the camera, you can't even see their character models very well. The only option to get a better look is to add them to the party and hope they will deliver the final blow to the enemy. This is why I was hoping for the bath facility to be something other than the broken mess that it is. T_T
I AM STILL SALTY! But whatever... 54 hours in. I still enjoy the game, just not nearly as much as I could've. Whatever... This remains my main game, and I plan to beat it before moving on to something else. I will keep you posted, because I know that my progress in Suikoden V is the main reason you keep supporting me.
THE WORK. Work is work. Doing coding and writing, just like last week. Right now, I'm mostly busy with Irma's bonding events. If things go smoothly, I'll probably start working on her CGs soon, so I'll have something drawing-related to share. Hopefully. Anyway, thank you for your support. I'll see you all next Monday. (Don't forget to leave a like or a comment, or, if you feel generous, both. There is no algorithm here, this is just for my personal pleasure. :) Laterz.-Aka-
