WELL bros, I have literally nothing to talk about this time. Crazy stuff: during the 7 days that just flew by, nothing caught my attention. No gaming news, no movie news, no other kind of interesting happening, nothing. I wonder if that's really the case, or if I'm just turning into an old man who doesn't find anything interesting anymore. 0_0

THE SHOP. At least I already had a "new" gallery item prepared since last week. Here it is: the second variation of that wholesome Old Man + Lara + Dead Monster scene. Go check it out.

MALFOID. Multiple people demanded that I acknowledge the latest viral meme, so here I am doing exactly that: I am acknowledging it and moving on. I am a very boring person when it comes to this sort of stuff. I see this Malfoid stuff popping up everywhere, and I have literally zero interest in participating or even browsing through it. Sorry. -_-

THE WORK. Last week I was working on Irma's bonding scene CGs. There will be quite a few variations, so I am not done yet. I imagine that throughout this week I'll continue working on this, adding stuff that's still missing, like facial expressions, unspecified liquids, and other fun details.

EXTRA!! Make sure to check this week's EXTRA!! post for some additional WIP sneak peeks. And that's about it. Apologies for the short post, but it is what it is. Some Mondays are just like that. And I hope you are doing well, bros. It's funny how, when I was young, I would often complain about my life in a pretentious manner, saying things like "life is a bitch" and so on. But now that I'm much older and often have actual problems worth complaining about (like adults usually do), I just sort of take it quietly because by now I know that whining solves nothing. Anyway, time to get back to work. Thank you for your support, and I will see you all next Monday. Laterz. ^^

It's a bit sad you don't really engage with the Malfoid trend at all. I suppose people thought it might interest you what with the HP-verse stuff you've done. Ah well, can't choose what catches your fancy, at least not without forcing yourself to engage. I'll admit to enjoying it, though that is partially because it is a nice break from a bunch of the doom and gloomy stuff that normally consumes the few sites I habitually frequent.

It's fine, I was more because I find it funny how this was like Bowsette (a genderbent that got too much traction) but this one starts wars, because there is people that hate you do anything with Harry Potter because they hate Rowling, and others who say it's trans to spite Rowling (Which isn't, genderbent means the character is female) so its a fun fickfestival, but hey nothing wrong if you don't have interest in this, also some calm weeks are also good. On Shows, were you ever on WH40K? Because if you did or just want an adult show that isn't just cussing, Space King do it's job.

Outlaw Star! One of the first anime I saw as a young'n and enjoyed, very nostalgic. Also, about the Malfoid thing not interesting you... as you get older, in my experience folks become less willing to spend mental bandwidth on stuff you don't already have some sort of investment in, also the trope is pretty well-worn at this point. Anyways, good luck this week.

A quiet week, apparently. Just some Irma bonding CGs, new expressions and mysterious fluids. Business as usual. 😅 And honestly, I’m kind of glad Malfoid didn’t hook you. If you started chasing every viral meme, Monday Posts would eventually look like everyone else’s timeline. I’d much rather get another completely unexpected Aka obsession than watch you check off whatever meme the internet decided was mandatory this week.

Really, there hasn't been a whole lot to get interested IN this week, in my opinion. Better to just focus on your own stuff, people are just stuck in a loop of the same nonsense over and over again. Lately it's pick a villain, gender swap, obsess, freak out when nobody cares, loop, loop, loop...

Do it again and I'll be sending you to the Brick under the watchful eyes of Captain Ashelin! @Bunny: Sorry, that's just how I have always been. I am naturally drawn to all the niche stuff and repulsed by whatever is popular at the moment. Believe it or not, when I decided to create Witch Trainer, people on 4Chan were actually laughing at me because the entire HP franchise had very little sexual appeal.

Just reading the first half of your comment gave me a headache, man. That's exactly why I never put any of that childish modern stuff into my games. -_- I respect WH40K as a whole and find many things about it extremely appealing. But my brain was damaged by anime at an early age, and as a result, it's hard for me to consume any entertainment content without kawaii schoolgirls in it. -_-

I had a bootleg Outlaw Star VHS tape with a horrible Russian voiceover. Fucking loved that show. Also, what you say about old folks is 100% correct in my case. For example, I am willing to engage with super tedious JRPG mechanics in a game that I already played when I was young. But when these days I try a good old game from the same time period for the first time, I sometimes get annoyed by all the extra bullshit. XD

Well yeah, I can still say "I am an old man" and feel that it's not entirely true, and that's why it's amusing. For example, when I was 20 years old, I could say "I am a middle-aged man," and it would be funny because I was obviously still too young. Whatever. That's life. Also, the intro to Outlaw Star goes extremely hard. When I heard it for the first time when I was in my early twenties, it freaking shook me to my very core because of how awesome that intro song was. XD

Business as usual indeed. I prefer this much more than some bad news. Better no news than bad news. :) Also, thank you for forgiving me for not chasing the trends. That's just how I am. Back when I was young, I thought it was because I was too cool for school and super edgy. Now I think it's just because I am a boring, aging man. But I am happy that you guys allow me to just be myself like that and not worry too much about when I should post or what I should talk about to attract the algorithm or some silly stuff like that. :)

Even if I wanted to do that, I would have to pause all my work on Reporter Trainer and dedicate 2 to 3 months to this sort of update. By the time it came out, everybody would have long forgotten the whole Malfoid thing. It's like when COVID was in full swing and somebody suggested I do a Star Channel 34 episode dedicated to the whole pandemic thing. I thought that was a terrible idea (and I was right), because right now that episode would feel cringe as heck. Dedicating time and effort to stuff that you know will age extremely quickly is not wise. That's why, you can play Princess Trainer today and the majority of the jokes still land because I didn't joke about the latest Avengers movie or hip internet memes.

My games are basically open-source code. It's child-level coding in Python. I don't think it's even possible to reverse-engineer that level of genius. XD
