225 - Pics And Spoilers. (Patreon)

Hello, dear bros. Today I will be sharing a lot of stuff, so I hope you are ready :)But before we begin I would like to reflect on the fact that I am a very lucky game-dev. Seriously, I have no boss or a publishing company to answer to. Whatever I decide -- goes, I don't even need to explain myself to anyone, I just do it. Sure there are some rules I need to follow in order to not get kicked from Patreon, but other then that I can do whatever the heck I want in my games. Many developers can only dream about this level of freedom. And this is only possible because you guys trust my judgment on things and keep funding my projects. Thank for that.

There will be a lot of WIP pictures in this post. Often times I get so absorbed in my work that I forget to take photos of my desk, but this week I made sure to have my camera beside me at all times. (Yes, I snap pics with my camera instead of my phone. I am ancient). Well in any case, WIP pics incoming, you've been warned :)

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. I need to bring this up before we proceed. New TMNT game looks great. And I mean the gameplay. The art they have in the game is another story though. First off all I just know the artist is a girl because of how cutsey-goofy everyone looks. Second off all, every single part of April got nerfed to hell in back, including her face.  This art looks like fanart. No, actually fans usually care for the subject matter, so fanart (done by a professional) would look much better. 

Moving on. This was another super productive week. I mostly worked on art assets. I know I will be spoiling a lot of things with this WIP stuff, but I have been doing it a lot lately, and I noticed that my patron count begun to grow. Some people even edited their pledge from $1 to 5$ (whenever I get a notification like that I do a little dance). Anyway, since my wellbeing is so heavily tied to my income now I plan to continue to share a lot of spoilers. (At least until the end of August :)

The spoilers. Right, let's do this. The pic above is from a new background. This one will be used for the weddings. And now, it's not related to Jasmine, her endings have their own illustrations. 

Here is the thing, guys. Are you ready? OK, here it comes... In QT you will be able to marry every female character in the game. Before you think I have gone completely insane, let me explain. This was not a random decision, I actually was planning to add this to the game for a very long time now. But I didn't want to share this news until I was absolutely sure it will work inside the game.

Now, after I did a lot of planning and wrote entire story ark for Vivi (Blond girl in blue dress) to see if it will work, now I am on the stage of adding art assets so I obviously decided to go ahead with this plan. Please don't worry, this will not extend the development time for 10 years or anything. Majority of the story will be giving through talking heads and major parts through (slightly animated) chibi illustrations. This will be side content you can work on or ignore completely.

Smells like freedom. I begun this post talking about how I can make up my own rules with my games, and that is exactly why you won't be limited to only one wife like in all the other mainstream games. If all goes well you should be able to have three wives. I also want to add an option to roll back your choices if you want to un-marry a girl.

OK. I think I should stop talking now. I will share more details next Monday.
