Hello my dudes, it's Monday again. Let's do this!

The Life. No news. All is quiet, just the way I like it.

The Games. I don't know if I mentioned this before but I am playing Persona 3 FES (PS2 UNDUB rom). About 40 hours in. Not rushing things, playing about an hour or two per day. Persona 3 is great. (But those of you who care already know that.)The work 1. Alright, I will be honest with you, I hoped to be done with the night Agrabah patrols section by now, but importing the events into the game taking longer then I expected. The events itself are pretty basic, but there are multiple choices, and also the way events progress sometimes changes depending on how strong you are. And so on... I hope to finish working on this by Wednesday or so.The work 2. Also I took a break from coding to do some drawing. I already mentioned that you will be able to marry multiple girls in the game. And naturally after a girl has become your wife you would expect to see you in your house. Originally I thought to do it by just moving the chibis to your house like so:

This would be the easiest way to do it. I did cut a lot of corners with Princess Trainer, and I continue to do so with Queen Trainer. I am not an idiot, I know that I can not put all my ideas into the game, or it will never get finished. Honestly I have a lot of experience at keeping my ambitions in check... BUT! But, this time I decided to make an exception, because I really want to do the harem building thing properly. This will ultimately postpone the release for at least two weeks I think, but some corners are just uncuttable even for me XD

This is how I want to do this. You will be able to upgrade your home unlocking new little features (like calendar for example).  The final update will be second floor dedicated to one big living space for your wives. The girls will be moving in there after the marrage, and will have completely new chibi sprites to represent their new status. Like I said though, getting married will not be nessesary for the main plot, but if you feel like it, you will have the chance to build your collection wives. No worries, I also plan to implement some magical way to un-marry a girl and reset the her story progress entirely in case you get tired of her or just want to replay her story again without having to start the entire game from the beginning.Well, that's about it. Thank you for your support. Time for me to get back to work.

you may be onto something there "un-marry a girl and reset the her story progress entirely" I bet there are a few marriages where people wish they could do that. Keep up the good work, game is sounding better all the time.

DMG Entertainment

Sounds good and a week or two is nothing when I see devs doing a month or two.

akabur

In vanilla Skyrim to get a divorce you need to kill your wife. No more.

akabur

Thank you for understanding ^^

Rwede

No New Game+ with micro-transactions ? How DARE you ?

Deonast

Ah I decided out of curiosity to try one of those type of games Hero Wars, I understand exactly how it plays on people and yet it still suckered money out of me.

This week's gif is from: Black Bullet (hope you like depressing loli things)

GodHasAbandonedUs

I mean it's 2 weeks for nice addition to the game so i'd say it's worth it

Ace

Awesome update, also love eading about how you make choices

Henrik

I love how immersive and big this game seems to become <3 Been missing diving deep into a fully finished game since so many are released one update at a time. Easter week or something would be a perfect time for release, if you ask me ;) (plenty of time to play)

Trevor Bond

Awesome! I like the second floor idea, that is a nice touch and I'm glad you're including it! I hope things stay on the level and smooth for you!

2026-09-07 15:00 Well, I like the idea of marrying multiple girls at once, and I think the idea of canceling a marriage to a girl also makes sense.

I love the idea! Honestly I love the attention to detail in your work and every custom piece of art is a blessing. I am for one perfectly fine with waiting two weeks longer for that. Also in my personal opinion P3Portable is better but P3 in general is great. Do you have a favourite Persona game?

BadSpider

Marry unmarry, wax on wax off. I LIKE IT ^^

Nox

Love the persona games, currently halfway through P5 and am enjoying it. keep up the good work Akaman I like the idea of being able to replay individual stories without a hard reset of the game!

MUPLUR

un-marry a girl - GENIUS

akabur

Yup. I used to play Azur Lane. I gave up long time ago, but the main reason to give it up was that I simply have to time (energy) to play it every day. And these games I designed to be time-sinks. (And money sinks as well of course.)

akabur

Thank you for your patience!

Yes, I don't like to release unfinished games. I understand that it helps attract more patrons in the short term, and it also give a lot of positive encouragement to the author. (Working for a year plus without being able to show it off is not easy), but I still prefer to release a finished product, because I have only one chance to give you a first impression.

akabur

Thanks. Yes, so far so good.

akabur

He-he. I'm glad you like the idea.

I would not say P3P portable is necessarily better, in my humble opinion both games have good and bad sides. But I plan to play P3Portable as well. And P4Golden is my favorite. For some reason I like it much more than P5. Persona 5 is an amazing game, but it never clicked with me the way P4 did. When I launch P5 I know I am in for a superb AAA JRPG experience. But when I launch P4, it's like... it's like coming home from a long day of work ^^ It just makes me feel warm and couzy.

Nepurin

Well, I totally agree that both games have their good and bad sides, I just enjoyed P3P more. But P4G is my favourite too. P5R was great and all but the ending of P4G was much more emotional for me, the characters felt like a bunch of actual friends and the story was more compelling. I missed the non-story related events in P5R like field trips or other situations that were not particularly related to the story.

akabur

Yes, those events are the best. I am still bitter about missing the ski trip event in P4G.
