Got this massage this morning... Seems like I can't receive my money with PayPal anymore... Could be the sum is too big, could be some new limitation implemented by the government that I am not aware of... I will keep you posted. OTL...

Sum is too large(transfer limit is 2k for me), upgrade your paypal account(couple of waiting days) or cut the transferred amount into smaller chunks.

akabur

Yeah, that's what I asked Anthony to do: break the payment into two separate transactions...

Dorago

that's our fault, we send you too much love :)

2026-09-07 15:00 Why use paypal to get your patreon money? Couldn't you just setup and direct deposit into a bank account via patreon?

Sort of off topic, but don't keep large sums in paypal, always withdraw it to a non paypal account or you run the risk of having (all of) your money withheld by paypal.

akabur

Oh I know that. You don't need to tell me to be paranoid, that's my default setting. I don't trust PayPal one bit. The second I get the money I withdraw it to my bank account.

akabur

Exactly! And now you love got stuck... You guys... Even PayPal can't handle you anymore...

akabur

The option works only for US residents. Unfortunately PayPal is the only option for international creators.

Ace

Best of luck getting this fix, since the amount will only grow from here.

MercuryTwins

No worries mate, there's gotta be some way around this. If everything else fails we'll send you Bitcoin! ;)

Vargh

Turn the paranoid dial all the way up to 11 :P

Venture

Wow, they seriously need to fix that. Paypal is not trustworthy at all when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Ace

Yes, Its an Akabur, I am pretty happy with it.

Dorago

and soon, you will receive so many love that you will have to cut it in 3 MOUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D

Dorago

With all that money, don't forget to buy Lola a lollipop

Ace

I am not sure if she still likes lollipop, you know, past bad experience ^_-

Dorago

of cours she does, after all in PT, she ask genie to buy her one :)

akabur

Yeah, it would take WAY more then one ass-to-mouth lolipop experience to make her hate the candy.

Ace

Glad to her it, thanks to both, extra point to Akabur for catching the quote ^_-

Voodoo Monkey

Glad you were able to figure out the situation, or at least find a temporary fix for it. Could Patreon send money through Stripe? Stripe is a safe way to handle money like Paypal. I don't know if it would work exactly with Patreon but just an idea. https://stripe.com/

Precisely my thoughts. Paypal is a barrel full of monkeys, ya never know what'cha gonna get.

akabur

Stripe option is only available for US resents... T_T

akabur

Yes I know... That what makes me paranoid. If they could make transfer directly to my bank account I wouldn't have any care in the world.

Maybe if we rally some people to write the admins of patreon to consider the option for future relations? It may not happen anytime soon, but we could at least try to get them to push for it.

Dorago

I know you were refering about disposable loly, hopefuly for her, she was blindfolded so she don't dislike puppy either :)

Dorago

yeah, so many good payement are only available to US, that sucks, but even if I have to come all the way to give you the money personaly, I will continue to support you :)

akabur

That's right! Will show them how to screw with us!!!>:-/ Although I hope it will not get to that.

akabur

I don't think I am the only one who wishes for this. And I think Pateron understands that having direct bank deposits for international users would benefit everyone... I guess there are some obstacles that to that otherwise they would have it already... :( But yes, sending them a couple of "motivational" emails won't hurt.

Nordicberserk

SO we are sending you sticky love? No... wait... EW! Nasty images in my head!
