Maybe it’s a silly headcannon … but I like to think after the stabbing, Poseidon and Ody have their mindsets reversed. Ody saw how ruthlessness was necessary, and Poseidon understood it’s too much sometimes, and learns to appreciate that maybe his son being alive and blind is better than a warriors death.. idk, it’s how I rationalize him letting Ody go, because he totally still could’ve killed him somehow when he dropped the trident to swim ashore 🤷🏽‍♀️
