Been pretty stressed out, as I come closer and closer to finally being able to start the comic Ive been cooking up I keep getting blindsided by surprise costs and responsibilities that just take me out of the headspace I need to move forward

The world is in a nasty place and things are getting more expensive as I make less and less each month passively so I need to actively do other things to compensate and Im finding it a difficult balance

I try to make it up but its always a trade off and its just a bummer...

I know the easiest solution is to just regularly post in public again and make/ advertise stuff but it seems like Im waiting for it to feel like its the right time and it just never feels like the right moment

There are things going on in the world that I feel complicit in our (my) collective failure to change things fast enough and I just dont know how to reconcile this with... the fact that the solution to most of my problems seems to just be draw more

Its a weird headspace to be in creatively

Its definitely a mental health issue but like... I dunno

I need to seek help, whatever it is Im tanking I cannot handle it alone

Therapy and CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy) not cock and ball torture, can turn things around. I'm here to talk if you need support and I know all of us supporters are rooting for you tsam.

The right time is right now! I've never seen you open your comms before (only been on patron for a few years) but I often check your FurAffinity/Twitter in hopes that you're accepting them. I know you have some stuff going on which probably makes that harder :c But nothing risked, nothing gained! (Did I use the right phrase I don't know) but you have a pretty decent following on Twitter so I know you'd be able to do something with it!

Take care of yourself! The world is chaotic but we'll push through it together. Definitely don't be afraid to seek out help.

Hey I would totally commission you for a piece if I had the money! But getting a hold of you is difficult and I suppose it is for a good reason. But I agree, things have been getting hard, for a lot of people, especially with the inflation in the US. I am here to support however I can! Hope things get better for you!

Please take a lot of care Piko-san, the world might be falling off apart, but we can still give our best effort little by little. You're my #1 artist and always look forward to your art pieces every month, been enjoying your art since a long time ❤️.

Ive been a big fan for a long time and the last thing I wanna see is you burn yourself out. We're rooting for you and youre not alone.

I also hate social media. Maybe you could get a friend or someone to help you with social media. Maybe you pay them maybe not. As well as use tools like postybirb to make posting less of a humongous pain in the ass. I know I absolutely hate posting on my own social media.

I call being #2 Piko-san fan

If I recall from an older post, they dont do commissions because the stress makes it really hard to finish things on time. Which I totally understand. I wonder if perhaps adoptables could possibly work for them, or artistic liberty kinds of things.

Timmy

Aw poo. I've never really known too much about stress or anxiety, but that does sound like it would make commissions hard. That's too bad. I know a lot of folks on FurAffinity like adoptables, though.

I'm proud of you for realizing that you need to find help. Finding the right therapist can feel daunting, but I'm rooting for you. Being aware of your current headspace is a big step toward improving your mental health, so I hope you can find a way to appreciate your progress despite the feelings dragging you down. I adore your artwork, so I want to take this time to let you know that you brighten the start of each month.

Hey, I hope all is well! I've been a big fan for a long time and just realized you had a Patreon. I also ran across your Folio 10 on Amazon and didn't realize you had art books! I see they are available on a few different websites. Is there a specific website I can purchase from that is better for you?

Benji

Pico if you need to take a break you should. As a fan i dont wanna see you burn out. Take care of yourself. Prioritize yourself. No matter what your evil brain says. You matter. Wishing you the best
