Hey everyone! I've created a 1-click installer for the newest AI music model tool called "ACE-Step" an amazing text to music webui that can generate up to 4 minutes of music with full lyrics in a few seconds using only 8 gb of vram and all of that inside 1 simple webui! It's just amazing! You can check out the video right here: https://youtu.be/HwfciT0YOwgThe installer of course automates the entire install process for the webui!

LOCAL INSTALL!!!You should have already installed the 12.6 CUDA TOOLKIT from here: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-12-6-0-download-archive or 12.8!!!PYTHON 3.10.11 installed and added to path1. Download the ACESTEP_AUTO_INSTALLER.bat

2. Run the bat file

3. Wait for the install to finish

4. ???5. Profit 😎

IF YOU ARE USING RUNPOD:

1. Create an account if you haven't already: Runpod

2. Click on Pod (on the left side) then click deploy

3. Choose a GPU with at least 24gb of VRAM, then click modify template and choose the pytorch 2.1 template, then edit the template and choose 50gb for both the container and volume disk, then deploy on demand

4. Go to my pods, wait for everything to finish and then click "connect", then "Connect to Jupyter Lab [Port 8888]"

5. Then drag and drop the ACESTEP_AUTO_INSTALLER-RUNPOD.sh file on the left side of the UI then click on the "Terminal" icon on the right side on the UI

6. Copy and paste these two lines then press enter:

chmod +x ACESTEP_AUTO_INSTALLER-RUNPOD.sh./ACESTEP_AUTO_INSTALLER-RUNPOD.sh

7. Chose the gpu family of the GPU you rented and wait for everything to be installed

8. Click on the public url and have fun😎

IF YOU NEED TO STOP THE POD AND THEN RESTART IT. RECOPY AND PASTE THE LINES OF CODE ABOVE IN THE TERMINAL THEN PRESS ENTERAs always, supporting me on Patreon allows me to keep creating helpful resources like this for the community. Thank you for your support - now go have some fun😉!

The installer is showing I have Python 3.10.11 and Cuda 12.6 (40 series card). The installation fails because one of the packages cant be found due to that specific version not available? There are two errors before that but they are just ignores for now. But not finding spacy=3.8.4 seems to crash the installation completely. Everything up to that point installs perfectly with no error. I did initially try with 3.10.6 but the install was getting much more errors than below. So I switched to 3.10.11 ERROR: Ignored the following yanked versions: 3.6.0.dev0, 3.7.3, 3.7.6, 3.8.0, 4.0.0.dev1, 4.0.0.dev2 ERROR: Ignored the following versions that require a different python version: 3.8.3 Requires-Python <3.13,>=3.9; 3.8.5 Requires-Python <3.13,>=3.9 ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement spacy==3.8.4 (from ace-step) (from versions: 0.31, 0.32, 0.33, 0.40, 0.51, 0.52, 0.60, 0.61, 0.62, 0.63, 0.64, 0.65, 0.67, 0.68, 0.70, 0.80, 0.81, 0.82, 0.83, 0.84, 0.85, 0.86, 0.87, 0.88, 0.89, 0.90, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 0.95, 0.97, 0.98, 0.99, 0.100.0, 0.100.1, 0.100.2, 0.100.3, 0.100.4, 0.100.5, 0.100.6, 0.100.7, 0.101.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4, 1.0.5, 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.2.0, 1.3.0, 1.4.0, 1.5.0, 1.5.1, 1.6.0, 1.7.0, 1.7.1, 1.7.2, 1.7.3, 1.7.5, 1.8.0, 1.8.1, 1.8.2, 1.9.0, 1.10.0, 1.10.1, 2.0.0, 2.0.1.dev0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2.dev0, 2.0.2, 2.0.3.dev0, 2.0.3, 2.0.4.dev0, 2.0.4, 2.0.5.dev0, 2.0.5, 2.0.6.dev0, 2.0.6, 2.0.7, 2.0.8, 2.0.9, 2.0.10.dev0, 2.0.10, 2.0.11.dev0, 2.0.11, 2.0.12.dev0, 2.0.12.dev1, 2.0.12, 2.0.13.dev0, 2.0.13.dev1, 2.0.13.dev2, 2.0.13.dev4, 2.0.13, 2.0.14.dev0, 2.0.14.dev1, 2.0.15, 2.0.16.dev0, 2.0.16, 2.0.17.dev0, 2.0.17.dev1, 2.0.17, 2.0.18.dev0, 2.0.18.dev1, 2.0.18, 2.1.0, 2.1.1.dev0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4, 2.1.5, 2.1.6, 2.1.7.dev0, 2.1.7, 2.1.8, 2.1.9, 2.2.0.dev10, 2.2.0.dev11, 2.2.0.dev13, 2.2.0.dev15, 2.2.0.dev17, 2.2.0, 2.2.1, 2.2.2.dev0, 2.2.2.dev4, 2.2.2, 2.2.3.dev0, 2.2.3, 2.2.4, 2.3.0.dev1, 2.3.0, 2.3.1, 2.3.2, 2.3.3.dev0, 2.3.3, 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.7, 2.3.8, 2.3.9, 3.0.0, 3.0.1, 3.0.2, 3.0.3, 3.0.4, 3.0.5, 3.0.6, 3.0.7, 3.0.8, 3.0.9, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.1.5, 3.1.6, 3.1.7, 3.2.0, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3, 3.2.4, 3.2.5, 3.2.6, 3.3.0, 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.4.0, 3.4.1, 3.4.2, 3.4.3, 3.4.4, 3.5.0, 3.5.1, 3.5.2, 3.5.3, 3.5.4, 3.6.0, 3.6.1, 3.7.0, 3.7.1, 3.7.2, 3.7.4, 3.7.5, 3.8.2, 4.0.0.dev3) ERROR: No matching distribution found for spacy==3.8.4 Specs showing at start of install: ============================================================= ACE-Step smart one-click installer ============================================================= Detected environment: Python version : 3.10.11 Git installed : 2.49.0.windows.1 CUDA version : 12.6 ------------------------------------------------------------- REQUIREMENTS – install first if you haven’t: • Python 3.10 (3.10.6 or 3.10.11 preferred) https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.11/python-3.10.11-amd64.exe • Git for Windows https://git-scm.com/download/win • NVIDIA GPU with ≥ 8 GB VRAM CUDA 12.8 recommended for RTX 5000-series, CUDA 12.6 for others No GPU? cryptolitik

people who know how to create a lora for it? how to train it on your audio tracks of music ? thanks in advance

Aitrepreneur

looks like your cuda version was not detected, did you correctly install the cuda toolkit?

Aitrepreneur

Probably because your windows install is not in english, not a big issue though, it's just cosmetic

Jaulustus

how to pull an update when there is one?

MonoChromancer

I am not getting an acestep_launcher.bat file even when I managed to get it to run once on the first install. anyone else getting this?

bubz

The quality of my vocals is nothing like your examples on the acestep demos, using a 5090 and see no errors in logs, any suggestions?

bubz

As by quality, I mean the actual sound quality, they sound crap

Paul Mazurkiewicz

Why does it use such an old version of python? I tried the latest rev and it fails to install.

Wyatt Holl

for any of your workflows, if I use the persistent storage in RunPod,. Is there an easier way to start up with reinstalling everything?

Divinshield Entertainment

I want to know why the Country Beer song was not included for subscribers to down load for free. lol

Marc Kuhn

Quick tipp. With a RTX 6000 on runpod, I have to use the pytorch2.2 template. On 2.1 I get a version error for cuda/nvidia drivers during install and Ace-Step does not start up. Besides that. What a great toy to play with, thank you, great work as always!

Charles Lundy

Yea, same problem here. There is some element that I am missing. Same issue with the language using symbols as if it can't read the file properly, like opening something in note pad that isn't a text file. Any Ideas as to downloads and preparations he would have said years ago that this new computer doesn't have? I've got Cuda 12.6 and Python 3.10.11 so far found amongst these posts. Maybe time for a "New Builder Guide" or "Local Ai Quick Start Guide 2025" ?
