We hope everyone is having a great Saturday so far! We are back with another MTV Unplugged performance, Telepathy. And a little walk down memory lane. 😅

We always enjoy some MTV unplugged performances and were excited for this one PLUS we've only gotten a teaser of this song before! It has some major VIBES. Another great performance!

This was during Covid. BTS did a lot with set designs during that period as all the performances were preshoot

Regarding the conversation at the beginning, is it weird that I can be silent all day with no issues? 😭😭😭 Now I talk more because I have a toddler, but before that I had no problem not talking to people for days at a time sometimes. I think they did this from SK so they prob set up their own sets there. Please add Blue and Grey to your list - it was part of this episode along with Fix You and Life Goes On - it was multiple different sets in the same episode!

yes that set was made specifically for that song! all the retro set pieces fit the vibe of telepathy so well (which is one of my favourite bts songs) like most live performances, especially ones that are for tv or particular youtube performances like mtv unplugged they always go all out for their sets and it really adds to the performance, you'll see this later on as you get around to more live performances, they never miss. loved the reaction :)

Also, I believe the sets for all of their performances done during covid were done by their production team. They're all incredibly designed or located in some insane historical spot in SK. Some are mind boggling (e.g Life Goes On for the James Corden Show)

I *think* Suga wrote this song in half an hour possibly in the 🏥 when he had his appendix out years ago. He sat on it for awhile. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong. I work from home in my studio & live alone with 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 so I talk to myself & them all day long. My Tuxie screams back. It’s fun when I’m on the 📞 lol. And Daniel, I’ll Be Missing You was BBC RADIO ONE. Which I know because they SCREAM that channel ID at the start of that video & it scares the 💩 out of me every time, lol. Great reaction!

Aw, it was fun watching Ducktan again; I love this song and performance so much! I got so nostalgic that I went and watched Suga's BE-hind interview with RM too. It had been a while since I'd heard the original guide version, lol. Telepathy fits so well with BE, but it's also a great part of what I consider Suga's "driving songs" era as a composer (Eight by IU, Telepathy by BTS, and You by Omi).

I think at some point when i was at uni studying and with a fully stressfull schedule i was at home every weekend and didnt really go out to meet people so i probably spent every weekend then not a saying a word out loud for the most part and just studying. I was used to it but thinking back it was a really stressfull time and i used the free time on the weekends to recharge my social batteries. And i did what gabriel said. I would randomly maybe say something out loud just to say something 😅 Thats when i found bts. When i was at my lowest most stressfull period. And later on stumbled upon this channel which is the best gift ever

Loved it as I love this song, another Suga classic. Jin is home in 48 days and I look forward to hearing his solo album. Suga promised to write him a song so I am hoping it will one of the songs on Jin’s album. It would be nice a couple of weeks before he comes home you can review a couple of his songs that he wrote ’Abyss’ which (he wrote when he was a bit depressed and ‘Tonight’ which he wrote thinking of the passing of his beloved dog and sugar glider, both are hauntingly beautiful and Abby and Summer you will need tissues if you are pet lovers. Also I can strongly advice maybe his OST ‘Yours’ an all out orchestral masterpiece of a ballad! All three would be Beyond my dreams💜💜💜💜
