So excited

Favour 💓

“I live in the negative” 😭😭

Annmarie

Love their KBS performances but yall are so right the camera work is always so frustrating!! Fancams are usually way better! Love their solo stages so much and how they were one right after the other so we can really see each of their individual colors! 💜 the fake love dance break goes hard!!! They do it at MAMA Japan 2018 and the camera work also sucks for it 😭 definitely recommend a dance practice or behind! 🥰 here’s a link to a behind for this performance https://youtu.be/jZV1CU95rMo?si=RefA8EXGbAn7z0f2 and a dance practice for MAMA 2018 https://youtu.be/j6Ukt6x-cXI?si=72ToIvhwmDQyMHIa 😊

lm

Jimin always 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Senii

BTS always does a dance practice for their special dances Btw they always do different versions for their songs because these are year end shows and they have already performed the normal version of the song sooo many times before through out the year as comeback performances If yall notice they have different versions for the same song for MAMA, MMA,Golden disk and so on

Apex Mine

I’m convinced j-hope doesn’t have bones, his knees never fail him

KBliss

The practice for the mama fan choice performance you can see everything for the dance break

Lynn

There’s a rehearsal practice video of this.

Sofía Hernández

I agree with y'all, the camera work here is TERRIBLE. Idk if it is because I saw this live of maybe because I saw fancams, but I didn't remember the panning of the camera being this terrible!! This performance is iconic tho

zuki

it’s actually a rock version of fake love!!! i knew y’all would love that and also there’s a dance practice for that since y’all want to see the wide version of it ☺️

Witsend

Somewhere on youtube there is a practice of at least part of this. It shows Jungkook and V lifting Jimin. Loved this week's picks!! :)

chloe

cute little fun fact you can actually hear jimins jewellery rattling through his mic when he’s performing serendipity

Kafio Ahmedeen

I loooove looooove your reaction....🥰🥰🥰

Itami

These solo performances in concert are the greatest experience in my life

nina

i hope they do something like this again for their comeback with all their new solos and new ot7 song!! 💜

meri

the frustration with the camera work, true armys indeed 😂

Ashlee

I forgot how epic this performance was !! 🔥🔥🔥 also many army agree with you guys about the camerawork,, these shows are notorious for doing way too much and often missing epic moments because they decide to cut to a camera thats too zoomed in on one person 😭

Kearyce Moore

There's a dance practice for this, but for an award show🤫

Itami

Dance practice of this will let you see everything

Kearyce Moore

21:19 to 23, remember in bring the silence and bring the soul, you saw snippets of yoongi's seesaw performance

maria

the camera work sucks at certain points😭

vasha3095

BTS are such elite performers

Jessica

You can watch the dance practice for this if you want

Mary Hansen Ybanez

Btw if u mention epic Fake Love performance. U forgot the 2018 MMA fake love performance that u have watched that was legendary.

gigi

the camera work is so frustrating!! but there's a dance practice that shows everything if u wanna watch it

Gemini BTSxTXT

waiting for MAMA 2018 reaction video...

Keren Metz

I totally agree with Summer about the camera work. IMHO, there are a lot of award shows that do not shoot BTS' performances well, mostly because BTS' performances are so unique that a lot of video directors do not know what to do with them. The dance practices showcase the performance really well but it would be nice to see the live performances with better camera work.

Alice Smith

It was requested by so many people for his bday week but they chose something else. the full version is so cute with him singing and dancing.

Shania

In BTS Dance "practices" you'll see the dances better.

Alice Smith

I know Summer loves to sing but l could barely hear Jimin singing over her singing..but otherwise loved the reaction.

Yuu97_OT5

Hi guys! Their 2018 MAMA Performance in Japan would be the perfect performance for you to watch next then and the practice for this whole choreo: Dance Practice: https://youtu.be/j6Ukt6x-cXI?si=3e7dxHc0RiinJMGI Performance MAMA 2018 in Japan: https://youtu.be/6v8p3FNE9Og?si=Jypl2wYLYDFj2324 The Fake Love version for this performance is one of my favorite because of the orchestral, and rock effect. Dance Practices is where you can see the full scale of the choreo - wide angle.

NicoleW

the camera work and the audio of the mic are not good😭

anna

Please watch MAMA 2019. They performed We are Bulletproof and N.O. In addition to Boy with Luv and Microkosmos. It was iconic.

Nicole Casado

in case you guys want to check it out later, most of these award shows performances have a dance practice where you can see the whole choreo without camera work! it's even more impressive

Carole

OMG yes! Watch the dance practice! It's incredible! The camera work was agitating!

Carole

I know, right? Lol I'm jealous of his flexibility! He's beyond talented

shahad hasan

Jimin dancing like this in every concert 😭 he's just amazing and that's why you see him drained behind the scenes always and with so many injuries but as soon as they return to the stage you will see new jimin again with full energy and that's what I love about him

Kasapo Mwanza

i really love these performances and you guys are awesome as usual. one thing though, i wonder if there is a specific reason or maybe just an editing stylistic choice, but when the video you're reacting to suddenly goes off the screen, its a bit jarring😅😅i would be locked in and the poof.. gets me every time.

Natalie Quarrell

Did anyone else rewind and watch Suga’s adam’s apple when he swallowed,an unhealthy amount of times? Nope.. just me? Ok 😆

_Sarahbyjk

I LOVE THIS PERFORMANCE 😍

Cheymane

I love this perf, with the anpanman fanchant

luna

jhope is literally boneless. i just wanna scream at him in the best way LMFAOOO. like i don’t even know how to express it but he makes me wanna scream “IS THERE ANYTHING U CANT DO” yk?? anyways yeah that breakdown at the end was INSANE.

Yuu97_OT5

Yes yes, Anpanman! Not sure if they already saw a performance of Anpanman - but it's a must watch. 💜

Mylu

The rock ver. of Fake Love and dance sequence was redone from a MAMA awards that was really hard for the audience to see because the stage was dark and the boys were wearing black along with the backup dancers, hence the white jackets this time. There’s a dance practice if you want to check it out. I avoid these type of shows if I can, only because the camera angles are horrible and can make a person dizzy. Sometimes I feel like the cameraman or production team are so spastic with camera work purposefully because they’re anti’s or bias towards another group. But that’s just my conspiratorial mind working overtime.

chloe

i didn’t hear her at all i think i was too focused on jimin

wen

Thought I was the only one 🙂‍↕️

Nallie

They like to change things around in their performances, especially during concerts, just to show us something new. They do that with dance practice's too, you saw them dancing in costumes at this point haha

Jay

Love the fact in this performance serendipity you could hear Jimin's bracelets clinking on each other and making noise every time he moves his hands near mike... even Tae's rings once or twice. so you know it was totally live live vocals.

jinjen227

BTS has dance practices to accompany and def worth the watch (and the wider locked camera haha) -- sometimes, there are also BTS focused versions of performances that are not via the network but likely someone on their team that has the shot just on them -- andddd often for main tracks, they will do alt options (ie fake love has a rock version which is what was in this performance!) thank you :)

Anna Marie Aguirre

seeing this for the first time as well! So good! Great pick guys.

Anne

The camera work on that FL dance break is so annoying. Should’ve stayed zoomed out the whole time.

Maya

they performed this fake love stage in mama japan followed by anpanman.. but you can watch the dance practice as well.

Maya

tho the stage in mama awards in japan is dark and camera is still a bit jarring compared to MMA cams

Borahekore

Unfortunately the camera work on those shows is not good at all. You should watch the dance practice of this song for MAMA 2018. It includes that dance break and some more, and there you can really apreciate all the choreo.

Lina

Love this one so much!! One on my fav performances.

Ali

I’ve seen others recommending the dance practice and I second, third, and fourth that. Great reaction, but yes, the camera work is really frustrating at times. As someone who loves their transitions, it’s annoying when we don’t get to see hardly any of it. The camera will focus on the center member or even just the top half of them 😑 and barely show the others. A lot of times this means that we miss j-hope’s amazing dance on shows like this, so thank goodness for dance practices and behind vids. I know CCW doesn’t know anything about dance, so they’re not able to appreciate how mind-boggling his intricate, detailed moves are (btw, how j-hope uses his shoulders in choreography is a masterclass!), but it burns me up on some of these shows how little they show him and a few of the other members. They put so much work into a performance and then no one can even see it.

nicole

yes, we been saying cameramen need to do better for years now... you can tell the difference from an s tier cameraman who understood the assignment from the like

Yodit Y

yeah lowkey sometimes the camera work on some of their festival/awards performances is terrible. I just don't understand how a producer or camera operator decides to zoom in when all of them are dancing together or have a group routine. Just keep it zoomed out so you can see everything. Most of the time it's good but there are some I'm just baffled by.

Yodit Y

The BTS guys need all the support at the moment so your reactions are so good to have. Would love to see performances of songs you might not have seen or hear as much, like Anpanman Citi live performance, Jump 5th muster Japan or Stage Mix, Life goes on MTV unplugged, Blue and Grey MTV unplugged.

Lisa

If you watch behind the guys at the end, you can see part of the backup dancers leave, then the rest leave. They move very quickly, but there was no editing or anything there - it's a mixture of the dancers moving fast and the use of the camera to focus the viewers' eyes away from the exit of the backup dancers.

Shreya

i think you already saw this dance break in MAMA 2018 but just forgot it you should definetely rewatch some of the mama and mma videos cause now you know more of their discography your gonna recognise soo much more instrumentals they use -especially the MMA 2019 i remember you guys not knowing the fire, butterly and save me instrumentals being used when you watched it

Rokm_

When BTS comes back and have their tour the concerts are going to have to last 5 hours at least, I want them to sing all these bangers plus their new solo songs idc 😭💜 Oh man, I love the love yourself era so much. All the solos are amazing. This is one of my favorite Singularity performances, it loses only for the Singularity live performance from Speak Yourself the Final in Seoul concert, THAT ONE left me in shambles, V just leaves me speechless every time 💜💜💜💜 Also, yes, Hobi and Jimin have no bones, and they prove it in that fake love performance. I’m always in awe of their dancing. But I Think all of them did amazing. The performances, the dances, live vocals, stage presence… everything top notch. I miss my BTS 🥲💜 Thanks for the reaction 💜

Ebony

Not an edit you can see when most of the background dancers ran off. It's when BTS were all in the center and you had like 10 dancers remaining. Then they zoomed in on Kookie putting his monitor back in and turning around to start "Love is so bad" thats when the rest were running out, on the zoom in. The beginning performances were pre-recorded while the guys recreated it on the stage for the audience but other than that no edits. This wasn't the first time they did that break. They performed it at either MAMA or MMA in all black and it was too dark for everyone to see so the guys and BH decided to redo it here in white so you could see them.

Rokm_

I really hope they can watch that one. To me it’s just as epic as the MMA from the same year.

Anna

Speaking of good camera angles, y'all should watch BTS Intro performance Trailer where they demonstrate the use of a good quality camera and angles. 😂

Lori

Gabriel playing the serendipity beats on the table is adorable and I'm here for it ❤️ Awesome reaction as always!

DanielleM

Oh this is my favorite Fake Love dance break! I really hope you guys can watch the dance practice for it!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

diana

ah good times 2018 was the year i became an army💜 i remember setting my alarm at 3/4am to watch this and they didn’t even go on until like 6am😭😭

Yodit Y

I already said this before but yeah lowkey sometimes the camera work on some of their festival/awards performances is terrible. I just don't understand how a producer or camera operator decides to zoom in when all of them are dancing together or have a group routine. Just keep it zoomed out so you can see everything. Most of the time it's good but there are some I'm just baffled by.

jen

There’s a practice dance/routine for this on YouTube !! You guys should check it out too! It explains the process !!

Ahjusshi_Brown

Is the music/remix unique? No —The rock version of fake love was already released via their Fake Love (Extended ver.) MV and it’s on streaming Is this performance/dance break unique? Yes (but no) — They also performed this exact version of Fake Love at MAMA Japan 2018 (the camera work was even worse for that performance 💀) BUT almost all their special performances have dance practices uploaded and this specific performance had a dance practice uploaded for FESTA a few years back (it’s not the clearest video and they don’t go full out the whole time bc it was a genuine rehearsal video but it does give a wide shot of the dance break—for Summer 😂)

Ahjusshi_Brown

Yoongi always dances for his seasaw performances. It’s always had a choreography attached to it. But you guys might be thinking of his D-Day concert performance of it, where he didn’t do the choreo

Ahjusshi_Brown

“Maaaan, all those solos!” And let’s not forget they also released Idol this year (2018)

borahae BTS

You may watch the practice of THE Fake Love performance. :)

nina

the rock remix used in this performance is different from the rock remix that was released!! the one that was released is the one that was used for the fake love extended mv!!

Ahjusshi_Brown

And this is why we love fact checking! Thanks for letting me know—The more you know! 😂

SueBee

Lol how did his feet get up there? Because Jimin. Seriously, that is all him and his ridiculous core. I think there might be a dance practice of this or a similar performance. There is definitely footage I’ve seen of them working on Jimin’s lift/catapult.

wen

I agree my bias is taehyung but jimin rlly shined ✨💜 love this performance sm they all did so good

min

summer having beef with the camera people is so real lmao

bembolbee

Lol and they should watch the actual footage that was aired for comparison lol

Lindy

I love how they're able to show their individual talents without outshining each other and still work beautifully as a group. Fake Love dance break SNAPPED omg BTS freaking killed that marionette-style set of movements. they performed again at MAMA BANGTAN BOMB] 'FAKE LOVE' Special Stage (BTS focus) @2018 MAMA - BTS (방탄소년단) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpJJMtK1C1c

bembolbee

I didnt really like the mama 2018 that much because it was too dark and they were all in black and you can barely make out the details of what was going on during fake love

Jazmin Vivas

Eso es lo único y bueno de BTS, tienen demasiados compromisos con presentaciones sobre todo a fin de año por lo tanto, hacen remixes y siempre te presentan algo nuevo/fresco aunque sea la misma cancióm

Rae Avilez

Did none of the primos give you guys a heads up about how bad the camera work in the awards shows are every single time! LOL that's why we always have the dance practices lol!

ParkMinJeon

You could literally see the back up dancers run away… not altogether, but some at a time …you guys just weren’t close paying attention

ParkMinJeon

Glad you rewinded to see 👍

jin's dangly earring

this era will always be so iconic (while also one of their toughest (': ) also yall commenting ab the bad camera work is hilarious bc literally SAME LOL i remember live twitter reactions to these award shows is always us half raving about the performances and half just "WHY ARE WE SHAKING???" "WHY ARE WE ZOOMING IN" "I CAN'T SEE THE DANCE"

Min Jet

you must watch the dance practice!!!!

Purplehaze⁷

As a lot of other people have mentioned, you can see the whole dance well in the dance practice, but there is also a Bangtan Bomb that shows the guys learning the choreo and Jimin, JK and Tae discussing how best to assist Jimin with his leap in the air. Here's the link https://youtu.be/jZV1CU95rMo?si=ezWTElxKoxXrbKOk

Bunny Army

I love this performance so much! I get you Summer, the camera work during Fake Love was truly atrocious.

Betty Suwan

The most unique Fake Love performance version in my opinion is the MAMA 2018 Japan dance practice version specially (even more than the actual live performance) as you can see very clearly their intricate dance choreography during the practice I’ve been trying hard to convince you guys to react to this in the past I really hope you can still react to it. The dance practice here: https://youtu.be/j6Ukt6x-cXI?si=OA8rRFV81IfWhtjy

Betty Suwan

Has CCW reacted to 2018 MAMA awards Japan yet?

Sweet Kookie

This Fake Love dance practice deserves a full reaction 💜

Mumbejja

For Suga’s song “SeeSaw” he dances. There’s choreography for it.

nina

lol it’s no problem!! I’ve seen other ppl say it’s the same one too so you’re not alone!! they’re very similar so i get it!! 😂

Ss

I know probably a lot of people had mentioned this, but I can't help but to mention it again lol. They had an behind-the-scene episode of this 2018 KBS show. Really worth watching. They showed the dance practice and a little bit of everything. (Jin practicing being an MC of the show, tannies chatting backstage etc.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZV1CU95rMo

I’m Tired

I love hearing summer and Abby singing along but for some reason the mics were extra loud this video when y’all would sing and hum and whistle

Anthony

Lol! Yup! Same Summer same!!

Anthony

Oh yeppers!!! 😍

Anthony

Jimin always killing his performance!!!! You didn't see how he landed on the floor with his leg half split.. You'll understand what i mean if you see the dance practice.😍💜😍💜

Lia

is there a way of watching your patreon videos in another player??? this is the second time i seubscribe but i always end up regreting because patreon video quality its horrible. any youtube or netflix i can watch on 4k but not here. i dont understand 😥

mads

if you watch mama japan 2018, they do this dance break again! there’s also a stage cam they uploaded of that fake love performance that i think you’ll appreciate because the mama camerawork also messed up that performance but luckily bangtantv came through 🤭

Jenelle Edwards

U need to watch this fake love performance dance practice it was really cool

geral

I don't know if this helps, but if you're watching on a PC, just open another tab with the video, and if you're watching on a cell phone, there's actually a button at the top of the screen to adjust the quality, sorry for broken English btw.

Lia

I guess Im gonna download the app and watch the videos in my phone. thanks💜 your English is great.

Giselle Vargas

watch dance practices or bts focus performances, otherwise all performances are shot like these with zooming in and out

Blessed

Maybe the mods can put together a fun compilation for you of the end of this music festival, when V and Jimin made themselves the official backup dancers for the woman singing the ending song. . . and lots of iconic moments ensued, my favorite of which involve Jin and his courtesy to other singers present at the show (you can even find an interview with those singers thanking him). I tried to keep this vague enough that it isn't spoilers. : ) Mods, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! but it is hilarious and so fun.

Nina 1995

Daniel: What a year! I agree 2018 I joined Army. Love Yourself is my fave era (but also I wish I couldve witnessed Wings era lol). 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Clara

PLEASE WATCH THEIR MAMA JAPAN 2018 IT WAS INSANEEEEE
