I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR THIS REACTION!!!!!! <3

Neringa

I love this performance for more than one reason. Hobi 1st performance after 2 years. He slayed it. Excited for my tl be full of tour fancams. Loved orchestra vers. Especially on MORE. On others songs it's better heard on Hobi practicing video. Also there was like 10 other artists but 90% crowd was ARMY. Sung all 3 Koreans songs word for word. Cheers were loud that Hobi said he couldn't hear his in ears. But Mic Drop is extras special. BTS fanchants & ARMY finding 2nd lung because volume of cheers gone up. The BTS tour gonna be special. People are hungry.

ARMY_Jaceey

Sambath

Yay! Thank you. I hope ARMY gives you free tickets to see him.

Desiray Marshall

Kristi Butler

Clarissa Audria

Oh i LOVEEEEE army’s voice on mic drop GODDD they’re so loud!!!!! that MIC MIC BUNGEE and MIANHAE EOMMAAAA was louddddd

Marcy Turney

Love this mic drop!!! Need it on my playlist!!💜

elenaisk@yahoo.com

The boys are coming back y’all!!! This is a sneak of what’s to come!!

karla adam

J-hope made a live and said he couldn't hear himself in the in ears because the crowd was so loud, and the screams were getting through his microphone,so he just sang by instinct. It' s good to know he received so much support in his first live show.

Clari

JHOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 🔥

Jins_girl

LITTLE BACKSTORY! A week prior and even days before the performance army was on Twitter (from what I seen) planning what colors they should turn the army bomb for jhope .. they were going between purple (ofc) or red to match his current HOTS promotion poster. Most decided purple so he could see the sea of army there for him. ALSO most of army got tickets FAST to the point other fans of other idols that performed the same day were so UPSET 😂 to the point they wanted army to help them cheer for their artist (army declined because they won’t do the same for Jhope) Army was loud and proud that they .. they even chant jhope name when all the other artist cane out at the end 😂💜 army will never disappoint anywhere. JHOPE did say there was a clue from the performance to expect at his tour.

Latifa ElASRI

I was there 🤩🤩🤩🤩 It was AMAZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING👑🎉🌞💃

Ss

I can hear your comment (if that makes any sense lol)

KumiKo

I can’t count how many times I have repeatedly watched this. It’s sooooo good!!! Hobi was born to be on stage. His stage presence is on another level. 😍 He was actually personally requested by the First Lady of France to open the show because she said she wanted someone who can set the mood for the whole night and excite the crowd, and she thought Hobi was the perfect person to do it. She even watched his rehearsal! Hobi also went on WV Live after the event and talked about his performance. He said the crowd was so loud he couldn’t hear anything in his in-ear monitor and just went with his gut feel. I mean, this is already the delayed broadcast so a lot of editing had been done to finely tune the music and make the orchestra stand out, and to “drown out” the crowd but we can still hear ARMY singing their hearts out. The fancams are amazing too because they are sooo much louder! I love it! Thank you for your reaction and was so happy to see CCW going loco over the orchestra! Hobi did this for you guys! He knew you would love it! 😂🤭

Ss

Hobi's stage presence: 940218%

akaV⁷✌🏼⊙⊝⊜

This was sooooo good! I don't think we've heard 1 rapper take all the rap parts like Hobi did here. Not that RM and Suga couldn't do it, it's just that this was sooooo good! I think we've missed seeing Hobi perform live as much as he's missed performing live. ㅅㅇㅊㅋ Hobi 🐿️🥳

zaltaas

Their reaction to the conductor and orchestra is SO RELATABLE. Honestly emotional, thinking about how ARMYs from all over Europe flocked to Paris to welcome Hobi back to the stage…. So proud!

ana

I can't believe they kept him away from the stage for 2 years!!! Hobi went live after this and said that he was surprised cause the cheers were so loud, he couldn't hear anything else through his in-ears. Still, he did an amazing job!! I was already in my feels cause it was his first performance back but when I heard the orchestra version, I literally just cried, it's so powerful.

Yuu97_OT5

THE ORCHESTRA x JHOPE COLLAB WAS SOMETHING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED IN MY LIFE!!!!!!

Keren Metz

Same....this video has been on repeat for me since it came out. I had to see other reaction videos as well. Euro-ARMYs came in full force!!!

zaphyre

Watching this I was like their first performance when they’re all back is going to be insane

lau_jlnne

I was there and it was fire!!! I never heard a crowd scream so loud before, it was amazing! I can't believe we got the chance to see him live. Each year, the orchestra's goal is to mix different genres of music and play with the various artists who come to the Gala.

Monalisa

I was there and it was the best day of my life!!! Hobi can hold his own, he’s born for the stage!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Makes me so much more excited for their reunion!! Nothing beats a BTS concert😭

APOBANGPO7

Guys, you can’t imagine how important and meaningful that performance was! After two years apart, the most people were there for him! Fans from all over Europe flew to Paris just for this 10-minute performance! Their chants were so loud he couldn’t even hear himself! ARMY made it loud and clear we are here, stronger and more numerous than ever, waiting for them to reunite and conquer the world again! If that wasn’t proof enough for all the haters, I don’t know what is!

Dulce Avila

Si ven en bangtan tv el ensayo ahí suena tmb la orquesta pueden escucharla más limpia :) tal cual Daniel y Gabriel la pedían sin la audiencia:)

Hobiga

He was born for the stage 🔥

Yodit Y

I know it sounds weird but I have been worried about how many ARMY would still be around to go to concerts and support. But It was so amazing to see so many there being loud and proud. I just think the reason we might not see as big of an online presence from Army is because a lot of people have grown up and might not be as engaged on socials but still listen and buys music. Also think there are a lot of dormant Armys waiting for the boys military service to finish to wake up from their slumber.

Keren Metz

Thank you for cheering for our sunshine......ARMYs rocked the stadium as well!!

Keren Metz

So happy for you.....thanks for the loud cheers for our guy!!

Monica Ibanez

I can’t wait to see him. I got tickets for both days in San Antonio!! This will be my first time seeing him live. Army since 2021

Jas

In this event they introduced him as Jhope the king of Kpop. The king is backkk 💜💜💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Priscila Ikeda

WE NEED THIS MIC DROP VERSION ON SPOTIFY RIGHT NOW 🔥

borahae BTS

I knew it! You will love this performance. It is THE J-hope, Mic Drop and Army ya'll.

Yodit Y

Honestly can't wait until they are reunited again. Imagine having concerts performing both BTS songs and more solo moments for each members. Their music has evolved and they seem much more confident in their music which makes it all the more exciting. I know the members talked about really liking the set up for the Busan concert so I can imagine something similar with more solo songs added.

Yuu97_OT5

The ticket selling in my country starts after Hobi's Birthday.. I'm so nervous I'm gonna cry!! YES, I agree with Daniel - I WANT AN AUDIO VERSION OF THESE ORCHESTRA!

Eirini_04

This perfomance is CRAZY!!! Jhope with the orchestra??? This combination was something i never knew i wanted. I need this on Spotify now! WOW

APOBANGPO7

I never doubted the number of fans, to be honest, because we’re a pretty loud fandom 🤣. I mean, these days, getting tickets for solo performances or concerts is pure luck, and I can’t even imagine the war we’ll be in when it’s time for OT7 tickets! I’m just so happy that whenever the boys need us, we’re always there as one, supporting them and showing the world our and their power!

Chloé

I had the chance to be there and it was even crazier live!! The crowd was SO loud for him and Hobi had a sorta different energy than what we're used to on stage that made him look so cool 🔥 He was the opener of the show and truly managed to get the energy there for the rest of the night (personally I put all of my energy in his performance so I was dead after but shh 🤫)

Marvelous JJ

My favorite version of MORE. This song + the orchestra is perfection! Also, aww, OT7 chant!💜 I'm also going to need BTS + the orchestra epic concert now.

Latifa ElASRI

Thank you yees we did I didn't get the ticket from the beginning but I had it in last minute from someone in twt I cried before and after the show that was heartwarming 🥹🌞

JB

FYI: this was a charity event in support of the Fondation des Hôpitaux (Hospital Foundation). Thanks for the reaction.

Ashlee

This performance has been livinh in my head rent free!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 so glad you guys reacted to it !!

SierraNicole

The conductor and music arranger for Hobi's set kept posting about our reactions to it on their Insta and shared that it was an amazing experience for them to transform j-hope's songs into orchestral pieces. The fandom has been saying this version of MORE is like Hobi's Imperial March. haha. It's really that epic theme music vibe. This was his first performance after being in the military for 18 months and he just killed it. He's still got that massive stage presence and incredible live vocal chops. I'm so proud of him and I CAN'T WAIT to see him in LA!!!

PrettyJumpTree

BTS went to the military and came back leveled up! Hobi's charisma on stage is so 🔥

KayeP

Not sure if you've seen it, but when you mentioned that you're glad that the fan chant is still OT7 on solo performances, but I hope on Yoongi's birthday week, you'd check out the live version of Life Goes On during his DDay Tour!!! It was beautiful and still brings tears to my eyes.... 😭😭😭

KMM

And to think this was the opening act! So Iconic!

Socho

Hobi (and BTS!) have reached another leve of unparalleled artistry! OMG the orchestra!! ALL I NEED IN LIFE NOW ARE ORCHESTRAL VERSIONS OF BTS'S DISCOGRAPHY ON SPOTIFY!!!

Bangtan

GOOSEBUMPS

jam

Hiii do you have a link of his posts? I want to watch 😬

Alice Smith

Lots of people mentioned the Orchestra in the comments and requests so l was surprised you were shocked there was one.

Alice Smith

I remember when Summer first heard Mic Drop she said it wasn't her type of music but it was entertaining lol. I guess she has changed her tune she really enjoyed it..also l saw a clip of him going to the back and changing the mic to the one he drops..it include clips from sugar doing it too. I only wondered if that was a real mic that they drop they got to be expensive..

Priscilliaaaa

FRENCH ARMY from FRANCE HERE💜 I WAS THERE!!!!!!! ( finally our time to shine hahah it has been such a longgg time since the French army seen the boys or one of them for a show ) And it was honestly soooo good literally got goosebumps watching it again and hearing our fanchant especially during the "MIC DROP" performance!!! it felt even MORE surreal live. One thing tho there we were so loud that we couldn't hear the live orchestra so glad that we can hear it in the final video! But honestly it was the BEST NIGHT. The performance felt a bit short and made us miss the boys even more, but It was worth it and only cost me 80euros ( 83,41 USD I think ) The prices were very reasonable between 50-80 euros! The organisation on the other hand for the event was a bit of mess ( only had one single entrance for all categories and as soon as i entered the venue and sat, hobi started the show!!! ) Little side note This is a Charity event made every year kind of and hosted by our first lady...

Alice Smith

And when the camera went to Jimin in the audience was so sad to me because he knew Suga was starting his enlistment right after his last show..please watch it CCW.

Ali

I NEED this version of these 3 songs available for me to add to my Hobi playlists.

Linda Pointer

As followers of CCW, we knew this would be y’all’s thing 💜as usual love the reactions and the way you get sooo hyped for all BTS performances ❤️

Tanya perez

I heard that Jhope was performing first, and then saw his performance, ( we were dancing and screaming in our living room) I thought how do you go on after that??!! If this is just a taste of what's expected during his tour, I can't wait til he gets to NYC! Being a senior Army I know the next day I will be needing lots of Tylenol and heating pads for my aching muscles because I plan on dancing, singing along, screaming and jumping to everything our Hobie performs!😀💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

melluvstobake

I've read that this venue was bigger than they usually have every year. My guess Jhope effect!!!

Kimberly

Did you guys get tickets for San Antonio???? Thats the show I’m going to

Yasmine SB

Talking about the shoes.... Hobi went live on Weverse just after the event and he showed us his shoes - which are Louis Vuitton by the way - and said they are extremely heavy... So yeah shout out to him for delivering such an amazing performance with it... As you said "of course it's Hobi". He also said that the crowd was so loud that it's was hard to hear the music in his earphones... I guess the orchestra too had to double focus... And despite that they delivered.. Can't say the same about some other performers even with a silent crowd.

s0phie

Fun fact: jhope did a live after the show and he said because army's so loud he can't hear clearly the music in his in ears 😭 I love him 💜

Monica Ibanez

Does anyone know if they got tickets to see him? Not sure if they mentioned it

Clara

hobi is such a superstar 🥲

Elle

It's almost a dream to say that but I was there and it was AMAZING!

Vanessa Garcia

Once it was announced he would perform at this event tickets sold out in minutes and French army brought it I give them credit . That’s how you do it

Kayla 💜

no, they weren't able to get tickets 😭

Aireen

Jhope and Army is just sooooo incredibly amazing!!! I got teary eyed knowing that wherever the boys are, Armies got their back!! We got their back!!! Salute!!!!

Sar

i love this event so so much. every year they have super big artists from western to kpop and every artists performs a few songs, with the orchestra. it sounds so amazing. it’s also a charity event

Wendy

This was such an epic performance. 💜 I would love to have this vision on my Spotify playlist. Here's a fun little comment from one ARMY, "Jhope is wearing the most expensive UPS uniform".... lol.... Louis Vuitton UPS 😉😂

Sar

i see yall like the orchestra a lot 😁!! i definitely recommend watching the other artists who have performed, on your own time. the orchestra elevated like every single song that was performed!!

lm

Epic 🔥🔥🔥 hobi 🔥🔥🔥

Minh

Epic ending with the mic drop. I heard that mic he used cost $20k. Of course he switched a fake mic to drop😂 Suga did the same thing with his mic drop. Hobi probably will have a live band instead of an orchestra for his world tour. The orchestra was a special arrangement for the charitable event he performed in Paris. Other artists that performed that night also had some special orchestral arrangements for their songs. CCW there are tickets left you can still get if you can’t from Ticketmaster. Of course it’s more expensive now with limited seats available but there’s still tickets under/around $100 for nosebleeds. I actually bought my tickets in general sales from Ticketmaster. Cheapest tickets outside of Ticketmaster are from tickpick or game time. It’s worth getting to see J-hope live because this might be his only solo tour. Hobipalooza convinced me he is an ultimate performer and entertainer so I endulged a bit spending on tickets to see him live like I did with Agust D/Suga concert.

Minh

My guess is he will have a live band like his performance at Hobipalooza. Imagine the cost of having huge orchestra at each concert for his world tour😂

smilehoyaaaaaa💜

The craziest part of this performance is that this isn't a Hobi concert or a BTS concert. This is a charity event with many artists from all over the world performing so all of their fans are in that crowd but to watch the video and see a beautiful purple ocean and to hear the crowd singing BAR FOR BAR in Korean is just so insane. This performance is just proof that Bangtan will always have ARMY no matter what.💜 Hobi absolutely killed it! His aura, his dancing just everything and for this to be his first performance after being discharged?! ICONIC!

Nira

That was sooo epic, can't count how many times I watched this performance

Jessica Curtis

What’s amazing is he open the show. And they said that the first lady of France, who organizes this fundraiser is the one that wanted him to open the show because she knew almost everyone was coming to see him and how big he was. And it went off without a hitch amazing.

ana

I got goosebumps several times watching this performance 😭😭🔥

Merryn4

Having been a violinist in several orchestras, believe me when I say, there's nothing a few symphonic percussions can't fix.

DanielleM

I need more orchestra versions of BTS’s music, it was literally so epic!!!

JéssiQa Monteiro

We are not prepare for bts 2025. This is being better and better. Love my bias. Proud of you always hobi 💜

P@sseC@r0

It's pronounce "gha-law day pea-S jo-n" phonetically

KimSeok2ParkMinjeon⁷99

OMG finally 😭 JUNG HOSEOK MADE HISTORY 🔥💜🔮💜 so happy for this reaction

shavanti1218

I was so excited for you guys to watch this!!!! Yay!!!!

Zellyfy

FINALLY!!!! As soon as I saw the orchestra I was like CCW is going to LOVE THIS!!! It was so AWESOME!!! Can’t wait for the concert! His stage presence is amazing!!!

Rokm_

Jhope let french armys scream their lungs out during Yoongi’s “Mianhae omma!” and I burst into tears. I miss my seven 😭!

Weng

So much slay!! My first time seeing this, not a fan cam.. But fan cam also nice you will hear the army shout hahaha of course! The support is wild 🤣💜🥳

K.

💜💜💜💜💜💜 That’s so amazing!🫨🫨🫨🫨

Bint-e-hawa

Yes i subscribed ur Chanel for this 🫰🥰💜

BZ

I saw the entire show and since JHOPE was the opening act, it was very HYPE!! the later performers were great and the Orchestra was fantastic and even though the entire place was filled with ARMY, army cheered for ALL artists :) Such a good show! If you get a chance, do watch the whole thing, even if you want to do it on your own time.

BZ

and I am so glad you are doing this for HOBI week! If this is one member after being back from military, I am just so excited to see what them all together again will be like!! Unstoppable I imagine!!

Stephanie

I couldn't wait. For some reason, my patreon app refused to open and I had to bear the suspense for hours!!!! This was amazing 💜

Maria Louisa Salvador

It just 1 member,I can’t imagine when all 7 will come back for a world tour concert its gonna be totally insane the energy and the hype. The best yet to Come!💜💜

Méra

Some armys literally TRAVELED to France for those 10 mins man we’re so coocked for concert tickets 😭😭😭

l

that man was born to be on stage. his aura is just unmatched. Hobi always does a great job representing what BTS is as a group, you can just feel it through the screen. now imagine in person ! 😭 icant wait for him to start his tour

Tin Tin

Yes!!!! Finally!!!! More on orchestra should be on Spotify

Mimi

Ahhhhhhh!!!!

minicookieot7

this drop made my DAY! knew you would lose it at the orchestra. BTS are always performers no matter what

Tin Tin

He’s one of the invited performers but he ‘s the one who opened the show as requested by the First Lady of France… he sets the mood for the show. Im soo proud of him. 🩷🩵 …. And that Micdrop is defo shoutout to Yoongi 🩷

luna

absolutely FRIED

Anahi

Is it just me or the way Abby said "Bonjour" and "Bonsoir" at the beginning sounded like she had a Quebecois accent

lily

OMGGGGG AHSBQYWDBHJASUYQWGDUHSBD

Arshdeep kaur

That’s what a comeback performance should be❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 Jhope devoured it!!! That Mic drop shoutout love it!!

D

Early access is spoiler for us, now we know what YouTube is getting next Tuesday! Hobi is an inspiration, he inspires us to do better than the best in whichever platform whatever window you are given. I loved his LV jacket and shoes, he said his shoes were heavy, such a style icon! Loved his colorful airport jacket as well.👌 Also, he wrote the first verse of Mic Drop, totally owned the song here. What a great way to begin your first appearance with Every time I walk! Tell your fans I love you, then tell the world I want more, and then the casual swag!

kitkat7

The fact this was his first performance post military!!! So good, was fully screaming the first time I watched it.

Merryn4

Whose idea was it to let jhope go first that evening? It was both brilliant (to set the bar high for all other fandoms) and unfortunate (for everyone else who performed after he did).

Kearyce Moore

He did his thing on that stage. This is just the appetizer for the tour.

Marsha B

The First Lady of France asked Jhope to open the show. He mentioned it during his live (after the event) he said he was so honored to be asked :)

Sina Yazzie

Y’all need to appreciate ARMYs fanchanting throughout Mic Drop. ARMYs were the loudest & the brightest there. We sold out that event 💜💜💜💜

Ruth

ugh!!! now i need a clean studio version of mic drop (orchestra ver.)!!! but really, i wish they also recorded the studio version of all the songs he performed ft. the orchestra group (or at least have the clean audio recording like the arson rock ver. on the latest jitb album). the collaboration is definitely out of this world!

luna

love how he walked off stage like he didn’t just kill that whole performance and leave zero room for anyone after to do better lmfao. mind you … he was the most talked about artist that night. and he gained SOOOO many new armys. saw so many locals talking about how that was their first time seeing him and how they loved him and were now getting into bts. we’re so screwed for tickets 😭😭. i love seeing hobi back on stage but FUCK

az

I was there for this concert and it was madness to see/hear this live. He was the opening act, and nobody was expecting him to be the first one to perform so all hell broke loose when we heard the first notes of On the Street haha. But yeah the crowd was really loud and the energy was insane, J-hope is truly one of the best performers !!! + the live orchestra was nuts, goosebumps all night long

Chloe

I wonder if ccw tried to get jhope tix

Lane. L.

Gosh! Glad that you were able to watch this. It was an epic performance indeed. Like you guys said, if BTS will keep on getting better (which they have always been), I can't wait for that reunion world tour! 💜💜💜

Alice Smith

They said they tried but didn't get any

leat

guys there is still resell tickets on ticketmaster and many of them is actually keeping an ok price i think face value. but others are insanely high 1300 or something. but you can get luckly because many are reselling you can also look at X there is a lot who is selling. i think many overbooked tickets to get as close as possible. but it´s actually hurting us all because ticketmaster saw how popular his tickets were and was putting half of the floor tickets for LA at premium prices. which is the only ones not sold now. and i dont get it the tickets is nothing special compared to the others it´s just Ticketmaster hungry for money. but i hope they will reduce the price so it can sell out. it´s such a dirty buisness. however i was really angry to see how many was reselling their tickets because they overbooked. which means if they can´t resell them the seats are left empty and i dont want that for Hobi. why are army so greedy please only shop for the destination you want to go to. because dynamic pricing will go up the more greedy we are. if anything you can probably buy a 4 tickets cheap from one of the greedy army who overbooked a day before. i know a few got free tickets for sugas concert for the same reason

Minh

I think ARMY was the largest fandom there for Hobi with so many Army bombs there that night but I saw light sticks from Gdragon and Blink light sticks there also for Rose I believe.

Ali Shackleton

its not BTS related but another performance from this show that you should watch is G-dragon- his performance was amazing with the orchestra.

dreams⁷

I think the closest to a clean version we have now is on the performance practice video, but yes!! I hope they eventually release the studio version

carlagirl7 .

So well said!!!!!! And I hope they do drop the prices and it sells out...as it should!

Hopex25

Just imagine the show he will give us for his concerts 😭😭😭

Keren Metz

I wanted to see how Western media reacted to this performance. If you look at Rolling Stone's and Billboard's write-up about this event, the headlines were about J-Hope. The other artists were listed in "Other performers include Katy Perry, John Legend, etc....." This performance is evidence of BTS' staying power and how much they will shake the world when they come back as a full group.

Keren Metz

For the BTS comeback tour, I'm seriously considering to go to Japan, Seoul or some other country where Ticketmaster does not have a monopoly. I know I have to spend on plane tickets and hotels but it could be worth it rather than giving money to Ticketmaster.

Luisa Jeon

I wish you guys had also seen the part where the MC introduced hobi, it was glorious!!! The orchestra K1ll it very hard, I was fascinated, as well as the performance of the orchestra director. ARMY was the one who filled that gala. You would have seen the change in energy of the crowd when the other artists performed, jhope's was the best among them <3

jeroswat

Lucky to have witnessed this live. I think I’ve watched all reactions to this to relive the moment

jeroswat

The army bombs were not synced but most of us used the app to turn it to purple. The venue gave LED bracelets but those were not changed to purple during his set so the fact that you see many purple lights shows how many Army showed up

Madison A

I agree! I really hope they can check out some of the other performances.

kika

Watching you 4 geek out over the orchestra was the best! Hobi killed it, an actual mic drop performance.

jin's dangly earring

bangtan performing live with orchestra arrangements is literally LIFE it's so hype!!!! (coming from an ex-viola player LOL)

Crystal

UGH SO GOOD, the orchestra literally gave me chills!! Jhope killed it!!!

justsarah

Dang I was NOT expecting the whole orchestra and it SLAYED
