Hey Everyone.

Happy Friday and welcome back! Today we are wrapping up Run BTS! with Ep 85, Summer Outing Part 3. The episode comes to an end today and so do the water games. So many good moments. These episodes had some iconic laughs, so let's jump in and see if the guys go out with a splash. 🤣

Every day in the water should end with a picnic by the shore. The games are over, which Jungkook was really good at, and the LONG day of games ends with a gift exchange. Loving the music and the photos at the end with the disposable camera. Nostalgia!

My fave episode! Funny, competitive and it closed with a little tug of the heart strings. JK with physical games is always fun to see but the hyungs all were entertaining. I also love the gift Jimin gave to Tae and most especially the one that Hobi gave.. it was very thoughtful 💜 and the nostalgic film cameras… 🥰

It was clear they didn't talk about how serious they should be with the gifts beforehand which made this both funny and heartwarming. Jimin's gift clearly meant so much to V since he used those bears for a picture promoting "Winter bear" and j-hope's gift to Jimin was just really thoughtful.

They were so funny giving each other their own merch lol And then there is 3J with the thought out gifts, the disposable camera, the mug with the bear and the Promise CD are all gifts that I would be happy with if someone gave them to me. They probably all have a hard time gifting each other because they can all afford anything they want so it's really the thought that counts. It's not to say that the members that gifted the merch are not thoughtful because we all know that's not true they are all equally kind and generous.

If you remember in Hawaii after the shark dive Jhope was sick after that and had to rest so it has nothing to do with the way they landed in the water. He just doesn't do well in water.

Remember in the Taylor Guide BTS video, Jung Kooks part they showed him doing the bottle cap challenge and Daniel said "oh wow, he did that challenge? (not sure of the exact words) but this is where it was from. The picture on Jimin's CD was taken by V 😊💜💜

I wish you could’ve watch the behind the scenes of this as well. Jimin talking more about his gift from Hobi, jhope explained more in detail about JMs gift. Also Winter Bear had just came out so the timing of this is impressive. V was so happy with his bears.

lol, not super tuna; Jin's gift is a KORE, which means whale in Korean. I'm sure you guys remember whales are a big symbol in the fandom. Plus, around this time, idol had just come out and for the Idol MV, Jin drew a giant whale and wrote KORE under it. If you re-watch the MV, you'll see his (and the rest of the members') drawings.

tae ended up using the picture of the bears jimin got him as the cover art for winter bear, it adds even more meaning to an already important song in my opinion. and after he got such a thoughtful gift for tae, I was SO happy hobi got jimin such a wonderful, thoughtful gift too! it worked out perfectly

In case anyone was wondering- gifting underwear (& PJs) is a really common thing in Korean culture. (So much in fact that when I first immigrated to America & was invited to my 1st birthday party by a classmate in grade school, my mom bought & wrapped underwear as the birthday gift! 🤦🏻‍♀️)

3J with their incredibly thoughtful gifts! JK's gift is thoughtful bc Hobi likes taking pics & JK said stuff about nostalgia. (Besides, at least it wasn't a gag gift of his own merch lol) But yes, Jimin & J-hope's gifts actually brought tears to my eyes. (Esp since isn't "Promise" the free song Jimin put on SoundCloud so there wouldn't be a CD of it to exist right? So much heart from Jhope 💜) I'm so glad Jimin got a throughtful sentimental gift after all the tricks played on him for fun 😆 P.S. even the message he wrote was so thoughtful, to incorporate the "promise" lyrics. And the translation said "Love, Hobi" but literally in Korean it said "From Hobi hyung who loves you" Aww...

Those are really fun boats. If you want to ride one I personally recommend going to niagra falls to do it (among many other things you can do near by). Those boats go on level 5 rapids instead of just a lake making it even more intense. But it was the best part of my trip to canada and crazy fun (you can go to niagra rapids whirpool boats either from ontario in canada or from new york if you don't have a passport).
