Good Morning VIP Primos!

Man it is always a good time to be a Primo, but today is extra special because we are continuing our SOLO Documentaries with Namjoon! That's right today we are watching RM: Right People, Wrong Place (Film). We have no idea what to expect today because every one of these have been so different. But we love seeing the guys and their individuality really come to life in these.

Yet again we are hooked right away! Love his perspective not only on his music and lyrics, but also his headspace while filming and how these different songs came about. Just another level of appreciation with all that went into this album 😊 Plus some laughs.

The thing about rm is that for years I've always liked the way he thinks about life and plus he said he did writing and poetry (which got him awards for it)alot in high school.

The way RM used the myth of Sisyphus when describing ‘Come Back to Me’ completely changed the way I interpret the song. This is the first of a few things that made me cry in the theater watching his documentary. The way RM talks about the human condition is so openly vulnerable yet poetic. His words are so many times both painful and comforting.

Yes, that was Suga's concert in Seoul. It was 3 different nights, 3 differnt guests. I don't want to spoil it, maybe someday we get a reaction :D

The documentary complements the album beautifully. Watched it three times in the theatre. It did Namjoons limitless artistry justice. Shame, that the comment section does not reflect the excitement. Neither during the schedule announcement on Monday nor here, but I am thankful that you remain staunchly OT7, even though the response of the members remains unbalanced.

Now I have to go back and watch all the music videos! Remembering all the lives he did in Weverse during this process, spoke to army when he got hurt by the camera and that it hurt to dye his hair gray. Please react to Namjoon, Jimin and Jungkook's guest appearance in Yoongi's concert. Love how Abby and Summer (and some Primos) are awed by Namjoon switching languages, most multilingual folks do it without realising. Not saying anything less about Namjoon, I'm just used to multilinguals and take it for granted. Namjoon is very very precious, and this is my favourite album amongst all BTS solo albums.

His brain never seems to stop running, he is such an introspective person with an extraordinary ability to express his thoughts. San Yawn is part of Balming Tiger, Joon met him, probably, in connection to his collab with them. The director of Come back to me is the show runner of the series Beef and the guy wearing the blue puffer jacket is the director of Thunderbolts. On top of that he has an amazing ear for music, and a fantastic ability for choosing people he wants to work with. I think one of the many reasons the boys are currently all working and living together is because Joon wants to keep this way of making music when being creative with the members. “not being defined as anything also means that you can become anything” is such a powerful statement. the k-pop label, being called the 21st century’s the beatles, kpoppies saying they are seeking western validation… namjoon and the rest of the tannies successfully freed themselves from the constraints of labels and let themselves just be the artists they want to be. it’s such a delight to watch this because on top of watching how the masterpiece of an album was created, it helped me fully grasp what chapter 2 is really about.

I agree, and I think Jimin also influenced the decision to live and work together, because that is nearly what he did with Pdogg and the others who helped with FACE and MUSE. SUGA also did a song camp for his album (staying at the second In the Soop location)...and of course, it's how they themselves did it in their early days.

A couple of things: First, the event that RM attended by boat was the 10th anniversary FESTA event for ARMY in 2023. He was the only member who attended, and he emceed an event and sang for it. My daughter and I were at that FESTA - saw the fireworks, had some food, and experienced the 400K+ people who all came to see the fireworks. We just happened to arrive the night before the event; it was a total coincidence that our planned trip dates got changed to those dates, because of something my daughter got a chance to do during our original dates. I wasn't even thinking about FESTA/10th aniversary or anything like that when I re-booked the trip. Second, the "filming" you saw first was actually photography for the pre-release concept photos. That concept was done in Japan. Each concept was photographed by a different photographer. (That's why you didn't see jibs, etc. for those shoots.)

I agree that both Yoongi and Jimin were probably very open to this idea as well. I only mentioned Namjoon because he was the one who mentioned carrying over some of the ways he worked on music during chapter two.

i cant even begin to explain how much i love namjoon and who he is as a person. i sometimes get emotional just thinking about him and everything he has done that has impacted my life. he's just so genuine, self aware, emotionally intelligent, but most of all... human. i truly hope he writes a book one day, his words tend to have so much meaning and are often used as quotes for armys. Right Place, Wrong Person is definitely in my top 3 fav albums from all the solos the members have put out. im so happy the members have been documenting the process for most of these as im sure its a huge milestone in their lives. hope they continue to do so 💜

There were many surprising events during yoongi’s tour just like how jhopes tour ended and everyone was thrilled to see them on a stage together yoongi’s tour had many memorable moments like that too

This is my first time being able to watch RM’s doc as I wasn’t able to see it in theaters. I can definitely see why it was shown at multiple film festivals such as BIFF. RM is truly one of the greatest artist of his generation.

Thanks for this reaction. I watched this in theaters, and I remember it leaving me so full of feelings, like receiving a warm hug. Loved seeing Summer's big smiles in response to Namjoon's big smiles, I think that is also how I look when I watch him being happy
