Hey Guys!! Soooo we have something sort of exciting we wanted to tell everyone!

We will be visiting a certain country where seven trainees turned into global legends 👀

After almost a YEAR of planning, spreadsheets, dreaming, and “what ifs”… we are officially heading to Japan and South Korea in just a few days 😱.

We of course were hoping we could magically time it with comeback activities… but we knew that would be almost impossible to line up. Still, the fact that we get to be there at all, and during comeback season!! That already feels surreal.

It’s a quick trip so we’ll only be in South Korea for 2.5 days, which means we need to MAXIMIZE our time. If you’ve been — drop your MUST VISIT spots below. Cafés? Neighborhoods? Landmarks? Hidden gems? Let us know!

And who knows… maybe we’ll bump into some of you out there 😬

We’ll definitely be posting while we travel, and there’s a very real chance this turns into a vlog or two because… how could we not?? Especially after watching Are You Sure and losing our minds seeing the members in Zermatt — at places we’ve literally been to ourselves. Now we’re about to visit the place where it all began. That’s crazy to even say!

Anyway. We just wanted to share. This has been a bucket list item for us ever since that fateful day we stumbled on a “Butter” video and began this CRAZY journey. 🥹

meri

that’s so exciting!! i haven’t been but i know a lot armys like to visit the restaurant that bts used to go every day when they were trainees so maybe that’s a good place to visit? if you had a longer time it would’ve been fun to see the bus stop from you never walk alone. i’ve heard it’s a bit of a journey so you might not have the time for it.

Brenda⁷

You're gonna love its beautiful. I went there 4 months ago... I would definitely say naksan park, N seoul tower and Gwangjang Market

w

you guys need to go to compose coffee you might run into taehyung there🤣

Cyn P

Oh I'm so excited for you guys! Have fun! Safe travels and can't wait to see the vlog, if you do one.

smilehoyaaaaaa💜

You HAVE to visit their old dorm and write your names on the building. It's basically an ARMY tradition. Also go to the HYYH bus stop omg so many cute places 🥹 Hope you guys have fun! Also the Tannies are probably going to have really cool pop ups leading to March 20th so make sure you're always checking social media so you don't miss out on any of them while in Korea or Japan 💜

Ruth Miranda

Omg Congrats!! I hope yall have a great time!! Can't wait to see the pics! 💜

jooniesbonsai 🪴⊙⊝⊜

Brit

That’s so exciting!! I hope you guys have a great time!!

Petitchou1

How exciting! I’ll be in Korea for almost 3 weeks, starting the end of May. I’ll be there during Festa, but won’t be able to go to any of the festivities. 😢. Will be visiting HYBE building for sure, and even a stop at SUGA’s brother’s new restaurant. As for Japan, I was there 2 years ago, and spent most of the time in Kyoto. Loved the relaxed atmosphere there.

Ja

Visit the old Big Hit building / boys’ dorm and the current Hybe office building! 💜 and for the other tourist spots - Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Gwanghwamun Square (where the free concert will happen this March).

Dimples🎀

That’s so cool omg! I hope you have the best time I’m soooo happy for you guys 🥹💜

Alicia

Wow can’t wait to see vlogs of all your adventures!

Lisa

Wow, amazing! The old Big Hit Building and the original practice studio (with the restaurant where they ate two meals a day and were cared for by the lovely ajumma) on the first floor and basement studio) are within walking distance of each other. Also, make sure things you want to see are open on the day you plan - Gyeongbokgung Palace was closed on the day we had planned to go, so we couldn’t enter. Be sure to go there - that whole area (Gwanghwamun) is where the live concert will take place.

Rocio N.

So excited for you guys!! And a little jealous 😉 Hope you have a great time. Can't wait for the vlog.💜

Yodit Y

Wow so happy for you guys.

Lorena Jagnjić

OMG i am so so so happy for you and i know you will the time of your lives there. I can't wait to see your trip. enjoy you deserve it. 🥰💜🫰💜🫰

Ss

Just to give you guys a heads up, Lunar New Year is around the corner, so Korean local shop/stores might be closed during that time. Make sure to prepare plan Bs for that! (Most chain stores will be open I guess. (You don't have to worry about that in Japan though. Because Japan don't do lunar new year anymore. 😆

Keren Metz

So excited - i will be living vicariously through you guys!! Looking forward to your vlogs and pictures. Even though you won't see the comeback concert, I am sure you'll feel the pre-comeback vibes in the city.

Nehal Elsamahy

OMG what great news!! I hope you have the most amazing time, and plz do vlog so I can live vicariously thru you 🤣😭💜

Aria

Omg that's so exciting!!!

Sandy Matias

That is so awesome! I hope you enjoy. You should definitely visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, Buckchon Village which is right next to the palace. Gangnam area, which has the Coex mall with the huge library in it. Seoul Tower. Be prepared to do a lot of walking in both South Korea and Japan. Kyoto in Japan is my fav place and the temple there is beautiful. I can't wait to hear about your adventures. 😃

TheEmpurpler⁷

O...M...G... so exciting! Ive been to Japan now 3 times & it's one of my fav countries in the world. And of course, Korea holds a special place in my heart as the home of our 7 (plus we have family there so we go every 2 years.) Our 1st trip to Japan, we only did Tokyo which was a mistake - so I hope u get to see Tokyo plus Kyoto (& Osaka if u have time). Kyoto was our fav! In Korea, since u only have 2.5 days, I guess you're staying only in Seoul? (Seoul is huge & broken up into many "areas" like Manhattan's Soho, UES, etc. We like the MyungDong area most!) Hope u visit the Hybe building & the little restaurant where they used to eat during their training days. Jeju Island is a very short flight & u can do a lot with just 1 day if u can fit it into your itinerary. (We are going to Jeju in a couple of months to try to visit all the AYS locations 😉) I can ramble about travel recs forever if u let me, so I'll stop here for now lol HAVE THE BEST TIME CCW!!! SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! 💜

_jiminie

OMG !! Enjoy guys 🤍 Recommendation: Cafe Farben - this is Namjoon’s sister’s cafe in Seongsu. They have really good pastries and drinks (the scones & cookies are my favorite). In the same area, there is a kbbq place I always go back to called Ggubdang and aside from the meat you have to get their truffle jajangmyeon 🤤 (the lines are always so long tho so you can go around the area while you wait 🤗)

justsarah

OH MY GODDDD IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!

Yeontae

I’ll be in Seoul for the comeback. Hoping to get selected to see the boys perform! I’ve also been planning my itinerary for the 5 days Im in Seoul. Visit Gyeonggukbong if Palace, hanok villages, Namsan tower, do cafe hopping in Yongsan or Hannam or Seongsu. there’s a lot to do. Of course visit Hybe and other bts famous spots! Enjoy you guys!

Daydream⁷

OMG OMG OMGGGG!!! That's my dream trip😭 I'm so happy for you CCW! There is so many place to visit like their old dorm and Jimin's dad cafe, HYBE etc. Please do a vlog and take many photos. But the most important HAVE FUN!

Yeontae

Compose Coffee! Taehyung is all over Korea starting from the airport lol.

nicole s.

OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY FOR Y'ALL!! You neeeeed to go visit their old bighit building (and the Hybe one of course hahaha)! If possible, Namjoon's sister café in Seoul (Cafe Far Ben, people say the food is great and it's really beautiful and peaceful), Yoongi's brother restaurant (Chompi, opened recently and people say the food there is very fresh and delicious - and you might be lucky enough to meet the famous Min Holy, Yoongi's family dog that sometimes goes there), Seokjin and his brother's restaurant (Otsu Seiromushi, as far as I know you might need reservations) and Jimin's father café in busan of courseee. I'd also like to see your review to seokjin's brand liquor IGIN 🤭

nae

OMG enjoy!!!!!!! 💜

Cleggy24

Thats amazing guys you will love it xx

Callie

Yay!!!!! This made me smile so much, I can’t wait to hear all about it!!! CCW is the best

chimm

Wowww! sooo excited for you CCW! since you guys are going before the comeback, watch out for Arirang-related promos scattered around Seoul --- like at the Gwanghwamun square where the Arirang logo is currently displayed (and where the comeback live will happen! At least you'll get to see it first before the Netflix live hehe). It's also near the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace, which you need to experience as tourists! The iconic Namsan Tower too is a good spot! All these are doable in a day. Then end it with some night market street food experience (there's a lot to choose from around the area!) Make sure to drop by Hybe building and their old dorm! Since you're not going to Busan (to visit Jimin's dad's cafe), then I suggest going to Seongsu to stop by Namjoon's sister's cafe (Far Ben) and do some shopping around the area. Some Arirang-related promos are currently scattered around that area too. Then grab some lunch or dinner at Yoongi's brother's resto (Chompi) in Yongsan! 2.5 days is really short so make the most out of it! who knows you'll bump into one of the members, like how I casually saw Namjoon at Seongsu *screeaaams*!

KumiKo

SOOO FUN!! Have an awesome trip CCW and finally!! You’ll be breathing the same air as BTS!! 🤭🥰. You can check out these places 💜 HYBE Headquarters in Yongsan (the empire BTS built 😉 💜 The Blue Dorm - the Tannies’ first ever dorm (the one you saw in The Rise of Bangtan where they shared a one-bedroom) in Nonhyeon dong where the old Big Hit building was also located. 💜 Their favorite restaurant as trainees (also on the Rise of Bangtan). The resto is filled to the brim with photos and cute artworks of BTS. You can meet the auntie who cooked for them. She’s still there! Jin had gone back to visit too a few months ago and met her again. It’s called Yoojung Sikdang. Best to go on a weekday as weekends are always full. Or if unavoidable on a weekend, try to go during non peak hours (like Jin did!) eat a late lunch or early dinner 😊 💜 Their second dorm that is now turned into a cafe called Hyuga Cafe and Bakery - 16 Nonhyeon-ro-119-gil in Gangnam Gu 💜 Jin and his older brother’s restaurant - Ossu (or Otsu ) Seiromushi near Seokchonhosu Lake in Songpa-gu. 💜 Gyeongbukgong Palace where they filmed their special performance of IDOL for The Tonight Show, which you also reacted to 🙌 💜 Line Friends flagship store in Myeongdong / Itaewon for BT21 shopping! They also have the handprints of the Tannies there. So cool to see

Blessed

SOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, VLOG! But only as much as will enhance your fun, but not if it makes you feel stressed.

nina

if y’all can you should definitely try to visit jimin’s dad’s cafe! army leave gifts and messages for jimin there as well! and his dad also has actual bts awards that they’ve won for display for you to see 🥹💜

Judith Lopez

wowww so excited for you guys! im going on april to Korea for the third time lol Theres many places to visit and many things to do in Seoul but in 2 days maybe Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Tower, picnic at Yeouido Hangang Park if its not too cold, and i also love walking along Cheonggyecheon Stream if the weather is nice. And of course if you have time visit Hybe Building, the Old Big Hit Building and the restaurant they used to eat as trainees (this is the address on Naver Maps 서울 강남구 도산대로28길 14) The old building and the restaurant are close by. Cant wait for the vlogs!!!

Megan

No way!! I'm so excited for you!! That's going to be an amazing trip no matter what. I hope you all have the absolute best time possible!!

Marvelous JJ

That's incredible! Very happy for you guys!

Méra

Omg so excited for y’all. I wish you could visit IN THE SOOP house and see the boys rooms and everything, but since it’s going to be so freaking short I don’t think y’all will be able to 😭

DD

I’m Korean so I’m very excited to hear that you will visit our country!!!🤗🤗

sandy

how exciting!!! me next!😁

Cheng A

Happy for you guys to have this. With your limited time, I'd say make a priority list from the suggested ones and go from there. My personal advice is wear really comfy shoes. I know we want to have good shoes for pictures but you really have to walk long ways even between moving from one connecting train to another and even going out of the subways. It's also not as generalized that high place buildings all have elevators/escalators so you have to take stairs especially going out of the subway statations. Make sure to prep for that.

Jessica R

This so exciting, so happy for yall!

Golden maknae

Do the bts tour and purchase it from Klook

Anastasiya^^

Wow, I'm so happy for you guys!!! This will be an amazing experience, especially since it's promotion time now😊 2 and a half days might sound not like a lot of time, but you still will be able to see a lot of wonderful places and have an amazing experience 💜💜 Can't wait to see vlogs and photos, have a lot of fun on your trip! 💜🔥 Hope that one day I'll be able to go there too! For now unfortunately it's still just a dream, since i'm living my student live and trying to combine work and university😅 But definitely one day in future!

s

Omg im so happy to hear this as korean 😭 You should come to busan!!! City of 🌊 Seoul is the capital, but Busan is honestly on another level.

Erika Serrano

Omg! This is sooo exciting! From someone who has never been to either places, I just really hope you guys enjoy the experiences, the Places, the culture, the food and of course why not hace a small little faith of and unexpected encounter!!🙏🏻🫶🏻💜 I agree with some comments above, all though we all of course would really love a vlog. Make sure you guys only vlog to your confort so you can properly enjoy these amazing vacations! 🤗🩷

LaLaJin

That's so exciting!! I'm so jelly!! 😭 Please visit Jin's & his brother's restaurant, I believe it's still open. 💜💜

Celine Anne Lagman

Ah finally! If you want to do a BTS pilgrimage: old Big Hit building, new Hybe building, Cafe Hyuga (BTS’ old dorm), Yoojung Sikdang (where they used to eat as trainees), Spring Day bus stop (this is outside Seoul), Yongin Dae Jang Geum Park (where Yoongi filmed Daechwita, also outside Seoul)

Kearyce Moore

Im hopefully going there with my godsister this year. Jin's brother restaurant is hard to get into, the bench they took their picture for the You Never Walk Alone cover and many more

chimm

ahhh and Tokyo! check out the locations from Jungkook and Jimin's GCF! and you'll finally see Shibuya which you've only been seeing in your anime reactions, woohoo! i still remember how i dreamed of going to Japan because of watching too much anime, and when i finally did, it's all just so surreal! you'll love it there!

Z_605army

That's so exciting 😄 🙌

lily

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG

C⁷💜

How exciting! Congratulations!🎉 can’t wait to see your vlog, I’m sure it’s going to be so amazing 👏🏼 I hope one day I can’t get there too. Hope you enjoy it🫶🏻💜

monse

omggggg so exciting!! semi glad yall aren’t in s.k for too long though. my best friend n girlfriend went on a japan/s.k trip last year n they said japan was soooo much better for visiting. they wished they spent more time in busan though, they were only there for a day or less. maybe it will be a different experience for yall since im sure you’ll have everything planned out. but yea, ive heard most people preferring japan over s.k when they do joint trips. HAVE FUN!!! MAKE THE BEST OUT OF IT!!! i can’t believe yall are rly going!!!!

♕︎Merel♕︎

So cool. if been to korea last year for 2 weeks and my favorite place was Jeju island. Absolutly loved the nature and peacefullnes of it (though it was also very hot and humid

So excited for you! Can’t wait to see the updates. I’m hoping some day to live vicariously though you going back to Switzerland in the summer tracing Jimin and JK’s travels (or high points). I can dream. Who knows might happen someday.

kika

Oh my gosh, how exciting!!! I'm sure other people will have better recommendations than me related to BTS things, but I'll speak more on general sightseeing things. I have a few tips first tho (sorry if you know all of this and I am just being a worrywart. I just genuinely love Seoul and want to make it easier for you). If you're taking the subway from the airport to your hotel, I recommend (if not require lol) that you get a T-money card from the little kiosks. You can buy them and fill them up right before getting on the subway. I don't think tap to pay works, you need the card. There might be an app by now, but the card is a fun souvenir that you can use when you come back haha. Another tip is to download Naver! Google Maps is not helpful in SK. It doesn't give you exact directions like Naver and restaurants are easier to vet in Naver. For sightseeing, you must do Gyeongbukgong (1 of 2 major palaces in Seoul). That is where BTS will be performing and the history of it is incredible! I recommend walking down the main square (Gwanghwamun square) into the main gate of Gyeongbukgong. Gwanghwamun square has one of BTS' Arirang promos on the side, near Sejong Art Center (I think, don't quote me on this). But that walk down the square into the main gate is kind of what BTS might do for their comeback concert. Gyeongbukgong offers English audio guides so make sure you bring your own wired headphones (or you can use theirs, but I'm a germaphobe lol). Not only is the history crazy, but the architecture is jaw-dropping. The wives might watch a historical kdrama one day and this could be the setting. It will take about a half day. Make sure you have a full water bottle before you head in! Nearby Gyeongbukgong is Bukchon Hanok Village. It's an area full of cute cafes that serve really good coffee and bakes goods. I have a few recs if you're interested. It's also really neat to compare the old hanok houses to the modern skyscrapers at the back. There is a famous photo site where we went as the sun was setting. Hanok in the foreground, modern skyscrapers in the back. Kind of an allegory for BTS hahahaha? Namsan Tower (I think it might be called Seoul Tower) is something to consider if you enjoy panoramic views. We hiked up (and died while we were being passed by older Korean folks lol), but you can do the Namsan Cable Car from Myeongdong if you want (cable car obviously is pricey). With Namsan, I recommend around dusk for amazing views. You can enjoy the views from the surrounding area or pay to go to the top of the tower. Myeongdong (the start and beginning of the cable car) is full of excellent food places! The Han River! Just nice to enjoy some time there. Lots of parks on the river, but the boys used to go to Tteuksom Hangang Park. For food, I have so many recommendations, but it really depends on what you want to try. Probably things from Jinny's Kitchen? If you're interested, lmk what you enjoy eating and I can try to recommend some places. I am sure that other folks have tons of recs and you know what you want too hehe. Sorry for this incredibly long spiel lol. Whatever you decide to do, I know it will be brilliant!!! So excited for you all 💜

Nishi Mekala

OMG How exciting!!! I would also recommend watching alot of travel vlogs. There's so many youtubers who've been to Korea.

Andrea Thomas

Omggg guys!! So exciting!! I live here in Seoul so if you need a tour guide or any tips let me know!!would love to meet up!💜💜💜

akaV⁷✌🏼⊙⊝⊜

Only 2.5 days in Korea?! Too short! But I know you'll have the best time and hopefully next time 😉, you can stay longer and visit other cities. 1 must see is the Arirang logo on the steps at Gwanghwamun Square. This square is located in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace. This is where BTS performed Idol and Mikrokosmos when it was BTS week on Fallon. PLUS, this is where their free concert on Mar21 will be held. Tbh, if you're going to Seoul only, you won't have time to go to Busan (Jimin's dad's cafe) like ppl are suggesting. The KTX train is 2-3hrs each way. I say maximize the 2.5 days you have in Seoul. I'm guessing you're going on a ski trip to Japan, super jelly lol Looking fwd to the vlogs lol

JennyV

Awesome!!! Enjoy your trip!!!

Funaek

Second the rec for downloading naver & naver maps and getting the T money card. You can also get them at any small convenience store like CU. Be forewarned that bukchon hanok village is very hilly! There's also a stream that runs through the city that's really cool called Cheonggyechon. Check out a local market like Namdaemun, Domgdaemun, or Gwangjang. Myeongdong has a night street market & big mainstream stores. Insadong is a cute lil neighborhood just south of the palace that has lots of restaurants, cafes, art stuff & souvenir shops. Have fun!

Alice Smith

Make sure you try to make it to Jimin's fathers resturant in Busan He's just as sweet as Jimin and comes out to talk to everyone. I know you only have a short trip so it may be hard. Have a blast and record record record.

APOBANGPO7

Only 2.5 days?? That’s a bit stressful 😆 there’s so much to see but since it’s for so little time I would say definitely go visit bighit old building and Ikseondong for the cute coffee shops and food 💜

Alice Smith

Yes and sign the wall if it's aloud. You will be part of history.

HalSonyeondan

Wow you’re so lucky it’s one of my dreams that’ll probably never happen in years 🥹

Ceejayhey

This is a MUST, for sure!!

Bulletproof Girl

Have a safe and exciting trip! Here are some locations you might want to check out: • Magnate, Busan, South Korea – Jimin’s father’s café. • Restaurant “Chompi” – Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea – Suga’s older brother’s restaurant. All healthy food. • Yoojung Sikdang, Seoul, South Korea – BTS ate here during trainee days. • HYBE HQ, Seoul, South Korea – BTS company building. • COEX Mall, Seoul, South Korea – location of 2026 “Roses from BTS” Valentine’s pop-up. • LINE FRIENDS Square Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan – BT21 store. • Tower Records Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan – major BTS album displays.

boraveena

Old BH building, eat at yoojung sikdang, the place where baby bts always ate.. (a must for ARMY) Also go to Gyeongbokgung Palace, rent hanboks and take a lot of pictures.. walk to ikseon dong ( a lot of mini little cute cafes) And off course, HYBE!!! It will be around Jhope's bday, usually there's cafes around hybe that have birthday events..

thay :)

omg how fun!!! 😭

minicookieot7

I was just in Korea a few months ago and yes - stay in Seoul. There’s so much to see and you don’t want to waste time on the train. Depending on where you stay I’d say: Day 1 - stay north of the river Rent hanbok from one of the places near the Gyeongbokung palace. You get into the palace for free and you feel like you stepped back in time. This is also where BTS has filmed many performances and the square in front of this places is where the streamed concert is going to be. Then visit ikseondong for food and shopping in the traditional hanbok houses. Day 2 - south of the river In Gangnam you can see many of the BTS things in just a few hours - the dorms, the old big hit building, etc. Then go to one of parks along the river and get your convenience store ramen and have a picnic. Also uber worked great for me there - it connects to local taxis /uber. Or you can do the subway but it might take longer to get around

Atutami

Super happy for you guys! Can’t wait to see the vlogs! Have a good and safe trip in advance. Enjoy it to the max! 💜😘🤗🥰🥳

Laura

Wow, that’s amazing, guys!!!! And you’ll be there for Hobi’s birthday celebrations too!!! It’s a short trip, but it’ll be totally worth it. You have to visit the HYBE building and the old Big Hit building and leave your signature on the wall!!! It’s every ARMY’s dream! Hope you have the best time, and I’m expecting a vlog hahaha 💜 BORAHAE!!!

uncle baby billy

have fun! if only you had more time in korea

sage ☉ ⊖ ⊜

OMG!! Safe travels, have an amazing time, excited to see Korea from CCW's pov 💜💜💜💜

This is so exciting!!! Two and a half days really should be only seoul activities (like the others mentioned), but if you ever come back for round two, Busan and Jeju (and others) need to be added. I now live in Incheon, so my Korea to do and see list is long and no longer just bts sites 😅 I personally love seongsu (a really cool neighborhood on the east side of the city) and especially love the salt bread place there. Namjoon’s sister also has a cafe called Far Ben in that area and it’s good! My list is miles long, but I’m so excited for you!! Safe travels 💜

I recommend Gyeongbokgung Palace in Korea! Gyeongbokgung is not just a tourist destination, but a special place where you can feel Korean history and culture best. BTS used to perform here. And if you wear Korean traditional clothes, Hanbok, the entrance fee is free. The experience of walking around the palace in traditional clothes will be very special. It will be easy to move around as it is in the middle of Seoul :)

Merryn4

Take me with you. Born in Seoul, haven't been back for 44 years shame on me 😄 💜💜💜

Chloe

Ooohh yall going to Sapporo???

Lisa Lee

omg I'm excited for you guys! Definitely check out the old big hit building, but I just hope you guys have a great time while in Korea. As for places to visit I recommend namsan tower, gyeongbokgung palace, seoul forest and maybe lotte world.

Lived in Seoul for about 8 months last year...I can send you a BTS itinerary good for 2 days.:)

hey! in may of 2025 i actually visited korea! i recommend the historical landmarks, as honestly, they are beautiful! Gyeongbokgung Palace is beautiful, along with the history, people rent Hanboks and wear them there! BTS also performed there on Jimmy Fallon! I also recommend Namsan Tower, it's a famous landmark, but the view is actually beautiful (but do NOT walk up that hill it is literal torture). it's also featured in K-Pop Demon Hunters. If you're into museums please visit the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art! Namjoon has posted there on instagram multiple times, but the art is absolutely beautiful, it's right outside of Gyeongbokgung Palace. If you're into other history, consider visiting Seodaemun Prison History Hall, it shows what happened between Korea and Imperial Japan! If you guys are into nature and hiking, I would recommend Bukhansan National Park. It has amazing trails and waterfalls, plus residences where monks reside. Everything is beautiful, but those were my favorite locations. I was there on a criminal justice trip for my freshman year of college (hence the prison). Have an amazing time guys! Also, I am in the discord and would love to share photos of everything!

Thea

That is insanely amazing, IM SO HAPPY FOR YALL!!!!! WISHING YOU GUYS SAFE TRAVELS AND THE BEST FREAKING TIMEEEE ON YOUR TRIP!!!! 🫶💜

zzzuzi_the_hedgehog

I recommend: Hybe building, BigHit old building, BTS old dorms and cafe where they eat when they were trainees, Han River park, Local markets with street food. I don't recommend: Myongdon, Busan, Lotte World.

Faery

If you do go to Busan, stop by ZM-illenial (Jimin's dad's cafe). His dad is often there, but the collection of awards and memorabilia is epic and a not miss for fans. But with the short turn around a stop in Busan might be out of the picture.

Oh wow!!!! Can't wait to see what you're gonna share with us!!! So excited!!

Oh such a short trip to Seoul. I recommend doing the BTS pilgrimage places - old Big Hit office, the park where the Tannies practiced their dance (it is near their first office), “Auntie’s” restaurant where they used to eat as trainees (the pork rice bowl is the best, near BH old office as well), Korean folk village (where Run BTS 145 was filmed but you might not have reacted to it by then ), the Hybe office at Yongsan. Not to be missed is the Gyeongbokgung Palace where they filmed Idol for Jimmy Fallon and where they will come from for the March 21 CB concert and of course cross the Main Street to the Gwanghwamun Square to the statue of King Sejong (who created Hangul). I also suggest the Daechwita Film Set (Yongin Dae Jung Geum Park), a half day tour outside of Seoul. Too bad you cannot do the ITS 2 house tour with the Spring Day bus stop due to your short visit. Both are several hours from Seoul and requires the whole day. Where comfortable shoes. Public transportation is easy to manage. Get a transportation card good for train, buses and the airport limo bus to the city. Looking forward to your travel blog.Have fun! Food is sooo good in Seoul and there are a lot of affordable places. And maybe it is time to commit to getting Korean skin care products. They are the best and most stores offer good deals.

Purple Tannie

wow!!! I will pray to all the Gods that you'll see the Tannies around when ur in SK!

Ruth

i've never been to SK, but if i were y'all maybe i would try all the food that bangtan loves there! or those you've been seeing or have been mentioned on their shows (run bts/jin, are you sure, in the soop, jinny's kitchen), like tteokbboki, hotteok, mulhoe, yangnyeom chicken, dakgalbi, bungeoppang, naengmyeon, kalguksu, various jjigaes, etc (sorry for any mispronunciation tho!). to be able to try all of their fave food at their homeland... it has to be a fun experience! oh, and maybe posing in hanboks?

Jagorrn

I am so thrilled for you all. I lived in Japan for many years and visited South Korea about 16 years ago (prior to BTS debut or me getting into K-pop). I would love to go back with the lens of a K-pop fan. Look forward to your vlogs so we can experience your travels with you. It would have been fantastic to visit during comeback but I’m sure there will be a lot of prep work up to the build up of the actual event so you can kind of feel the build up. Enjoy and stay safe!

Line Henriksen

I hope you'll have an amazing trip!!

Zoe

I definitely recommend going to Gyeongbokgung Palace! You can rent hanbok to wear when you visit from nearby rental shops, but it's probably far too cold for that :/. There is a Hanok Village across the street from the palace as well that will give you a taste of tradition. One cafe I recommend is Cheongsudang Bakery, for it's aesthetic and floor seating. Hongdae shopping street (for many stores and unique cafes) and Myeongdong night market (Line Friends store is there, too) are also classic places to go to in Seoul. Lastly, if you want a view of Seoul, Namsan Tower is definitely the place to go. You can write on a love heart and lock it to a fence up there, too. Tip: There is a tram that goes up to save you from a hike. Hope you guys have an amazing time!! <33

Amy Botello

Amy here (from Lubbock and met you all at the J-Hope concert!) Oh my gosh! This makes me so excited because I know it's been a bucket list item for y'all! But I'm also excited because I'm writing this on a plane that is headed to Korea. It's a one way ticket as I have moved to Korea to teach English! I would love to see you when you come! Please let us all know when you are coming and if you have a chance for a meet up! If I can be there I want to be!

Jew OL

don't forget to "report" (visit) to our headquarters, HYBE :p

석민 이

Other ARMYs might recommend tourist spots, but I'll tell you what you really need for traveling^^ In Korea, you can get around with just a transportation card. Buy a T-money card at a convenience store. If you're going for a day trip, charging about 20,000 won is enough. If you want to top it up, you can just go to any convenience store and ask them to recharge it^^ Also, except for a few tourist spots, cash use is decreasing, so be sure to bring a credit card^^ Have a great trip! Oh! I also recommend having a coffee at Compose Coffee. V is their advertising model lol

Rainbow

I am so excited for you all! I am visiting Korea from D.C. for a while. If you need any help or guides, I am more than happy to meet you up. Pls let me know.

jinnietaekook

Hey, I am also moving to Korea to teach English. I leave on Friday.

Darci

The old bighit building (you can write stuff on the wall) Hybe of course And I also suggest booking the In The Soop experience!

akaV⁷✌🏼⊙⊝⊜

Ohmigosh, you should 💯 try to find the new ARMY bomb if you don't already have them. Bc the SE versions won't sync at shows after the Vegas stop. From Busan forward, only the new versions will sync at the concerts.

imtachki

definitely recommend doing the bts pilgrimage where you can visit the old bighit building and write a little message to the tannies (so remember to bring a sharpie!) just around the corner from there is a cute little park with a very iconic swing set - bts used to go there late at night and you'll see jimin and namjoon there in a later run episode. you can also go to one of their old dorms where they lived for a few years. it's now a lovely cafe with really good baked goods and drinks, and again you can leave a little message for bts there and read all the messages left by others. that cafe is called hyuga and is great for lunch! also part of the pilgrimage and nearby is a restaurant called yoojung sikdang - this is also near to the old bighit building and the park. this is where bts' first practice room was, in the basement! this is the restaurant they always went to during their breaks during their early days and it is absolutely decked out with pictures of bts! their bimbimbap is really nice :) also, you'll be there around hobi's birthday so there will be cafe events you can go to. if you plan to see the current hybe building in yongsan, head around the back where you'll find multiple cafes holding birthday events. there's also a CU (convenience store chain) around there that usually has a stock of the BTS official t money cards that you can use for public transport! :) i spent 1.5 months in korea last year, one month of which was in seoul, and fit in plenty of bts and general korean culture things in that time so can definitely give more recs if you have other more specific things you're looking for, and hopefully you can go back for longer next time!

imtachki

i also spent four months in japan in 2024, most of which was in kyoto. so if you're planning on going there whilst in japan, also happy to help with recommendations and tips :)

KateS

Welcome to Korea first of all. When did you say you were coming? I might have missed it when I read your message. There will be a BTS comeback show soon at Gwanghwamun, and I really wish you could be here at that time. Since your stay in Korea is short, it seems like you won’t be able to see all of the historic city area inside the Four Main Gates of Seoul. Seoul definitely has the most to see, and BTS are based in Seoul too, haha. The areas with the most tourists are inside the Four Gates, especially around Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung. Seoul is known for its beautiful cafés and great desserts and drinks. Also, don’t forget that it can be quite cold in winter.

Jins_girl

I definitely suggest Jimin’s dad’s cafe as an army and over all the experience it’s beautiful ! The hybe building !

Heathery

I don't know if you guys will even read my comment.. but I just felt like saying something. I've followed your YT channel since the very beginning, and it is simply wild to me.. watching it back and seeing all the latest contents - the fact that y'all have now been to several solo concerts AND just scored those coveted tickets for the OT7 comeback tour!! I get teary eyes witnessing all of it. Y'all have truly stumbled onto this insane journey, embraced it so willingly - the way you have listened to every suggestion & interacted with the fandom to maximise your ARMY experiences.. it has been amazing. Honestly, wishing y'all nothing but the best and I hope you'll have the most fantastic immersive trip to S Korea. 💜💜💜💜

anoushooky

so happy for you guys!! i an currently on holiday in Japan and just love it here!!! been here since the 8th and leaving on the 23rd. I know you guys will have the time of your life here!!

Amy Botello

That’s amazing! Where will you be teaching?

zophiele

wow soo happy for you guys!! u will def. have a great time!! I've never been to japan so no recs there but I'm currently livin in Seoul sooo maybe I could be of help here!! 💜 I think a lot of people already gave really good recommendations so I'm just gonna shortly mention some of my fav places in Seoul!! ✨️ 1: fav. and trendiest area is def. seongsu, lots of cool pop up stores, bts member billboards, pretty cafes and flagship stores (also has one of the best olive young stores for k-beauty). 2: my favourite city view is from namsan tower (@sunset), I recc. taking the public bus up there. 3: I also recc gyeongbokgung palace as well, even though its not my fav. palace, I think its the one you have to see if you only have limited time and especially with the comeback stage now! 4: lots of people dont like myeongdong because its very touristy but I think its a very good and easy place to try korean streetfood (@ night) as well as do a lot of shopping if you want that! 🩷 I hope you have the best time here, I really love this city! and of course if you need any help or have some more specific question when you arrive, I would try my best to help you guys out!! :) ♡

Ana Paula

I'm so happy for you guys. A dream I also really want to fulfill. Japan has been my dream since my first anime, and Korea, after I discovered BTS. I wanted to suggest places I always see people visiting: *The boys' old dorm, and bring a pen to write your names on the wall. *The cafes/restaurants of the boys' families (Jimin's father's, Namjoon's sister's, Suga's brother's, and Jin's brother's). *Busan and its tourist attractions. *The "In The Soop" house, which is open to visitors. I know there are several tourist attractions in Seoul too, like the river, the street with typical food, and the temples. *Korean BBQ* Anyway, have a good trip and enjoy!

Sambath

Yay!!! I can’t wait to live vicariously through you guys. Have a fun and safe trip.

Yall will have a blast! We visited in August of 2025. Took a really cool cooking class (about 3.5 hours) at Seoul Cooking Club. Went on a guided night tour of one of the oldest food markets. Hiked the 3rd Tunnel in the DMZ--this one is a long day, but super fun and a good workout! DMZ also included the suspension bridge of Gamaksan Mt. Attended to a baseball game too! Rode the Sky Capsule in Busan. I feel like we were everywhere but still had so much more to see!

HaeRang

"Welcome to Korea! Since your stay is a bit shorter than I expected, I think the Cheonggu Building (which many others recommend) might be a bit underwhelming for you. Although it is a very symbolic place for us, it is ultimately just a small building tucked away in a narrow alleyway. Instead, let me recommend a few other spots where you can truly experience the best of Seoul! 1. Gyeongbokgung Palace Even though the king is no longer there, you simply cannot miss the palace when visiting Korea! There are plenty of Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) rental shops nearby. If you wear a Hanbok, your entrance to the palace is free! Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience. Also, the Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, where our BTS performed, is located right inside Gyeongbokgung! 2. Cheonggyecheon Stream This is a beautifully designed urban stream and park in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect place for a light stroll and to soak in the atmosphere after your visit to the palace. 3. National Museum of Korea It is ranked 8th among museums worldwide! You can even find the Pensive Bodhisattva MD (merchandise) that RM loves so much. Of course, our BTS also had a special performance right here! :) 4. Yeouido Hangang Park While all the parks along the Han River are great, the 1km stretch of the river view starting from Yeouinaru Station is truly magnificent. Be sure to try some 'Hangang Ramen' and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing moment by the water! I hope you have an incredible time in Seoul!"
