Happy birthday HOBI 💜

g

Thank you!

Rae

HOBI DAYYY! Been waiting for a Spaghetti reaction!

Victorya Rocha

You need to see hobipalloza. It's great content for his birthday

Sonny Min

Aaaaaah the emotions 😭 I've been in Berlin and saw that performance with my own eyes and still can't believe that happened! (That wasn't the OT7 Chant but the Korean Killin it Girl chant ^^)

KimSeok2ParkMinjeon⁷99

Happy Hobi BirthdayWeek🎉💜💜I love Leserrafim they are one the best girl groups out there🔥💜 I'm so happy to finally see the spaghetti reaction and Hobipalloza

Laura

I love jhope. But I gotta be honest, I can't enjoy spaghetti, its way too kpoppy for me (just not my type). I love when jhope is at lollapalooza. He killed it in Berlin. The crowd was crazy.

Daisy

I’ll try my best to explain but it probably won’t cover anything. It’s about how people constantly hate on them but they still can’t help themselves on and continue to keep coming back and watching stuff from them even tho their haters hate on them

Victorya Rocha

In the mv, they bring the presence of two drag queens. Spaghetti is a good song, a good representation of the leserrafim for conservatism. The divas rocked with jhope

Tabii🪷

i think a lot of ppl love to stress yall for no reason. i think you guys have genuinely have one of the best schedules when it comes to exploring all their content. and you’ve made it manageable for yourself and us. you guys do an amazing job already.

D

Saranghanda Jung Hoseok! (I love you, JH) Gidaryeosseo Jung Hoseok! (I've been waiting for you, JH) Jukyeojunda Jung Hoseok! (You're killing it (amazing), JH) Kill-in' it Girl! This is the chant

Hobiga

The camera angles were very bad at this festival.

Minnie Me

Even though you hate on me, you're still watching me. You're still consuming my content, even if it's just to hate, so EAT IT UPPPP 🍝🍝🍝 Also Hobi at Lolla in Berlin was absolutely amazing. I rewatch while I'm working allllll the time. The fanchants were crazy

Rae

Also spaghetti is about the haters who stay living in their heads rent free. “Bad b**** stuck in between your teeth” and how they’re always hating the music but always listening to it and “eating it up” it’s their “guilty pleasure” another lyric “Yeah, you just say you hate it What happened to your diet? Sneaking a bite when no one's looking. You better stop lying” fits in perfectly with Le Sserafim and J-Hope (BTS)

Carole

I like the chorus in Spaghetti(and of course Hobi's rap) but the rest is not my favorite. Does anyone know if his drummer the same drummer from JK's iHeartRadio performance? It was hard to tell with how quickly they shifted the camera shots... But awesome reaction! ☺️ Loved it

Carole

Also have fun in Korea! I'm super jealous! 😀

Manon P

I just started the Killin it Girl performance but can't wait to make a comment !! It's so exciting to watch you guys react to something I was part of !!!! 😭🙌

Re Dixon

Spaghetti was honestly one of my least fav collab from chapter 2 (like not even Hobi could've sold it to me) sorry 🤷🏽‍♀️

!Yikes!

I don’t really like spaghetti tbh😭 but hobi’s verse is great thoughhh

J

People have already explained the meaning of Spaghetti so I’ll just say this. I did not like it at first listen. But the more I listened it grew on me. Watching the video on first listen also threw me off cuz it is weird lol. But just like we interpret BTS’ lyrics and videos, I looked up people’s interpretations and theories.

Kearyce Moore

You guys should have watched day 2 of HOTS finale pt 2 as well, but Berlin Lollapalooza turned into Hobiland again😊💜

thaliajmn

Seems everyone in this comment section hates spaghetti LOL anywayyyy thank you for reacting 💜💜💜

Jessica

Happy Birthday Hobi 💚 I’ve always wished you guys would watch the full Hobipalooza Berlin. This had a lighter vibe than 2022 so I feel like you guys could enjoy it more than the first Lollapooza. And I actually like Spaghetti. Mostly for J-Hope but It’s ear candy and I like a good “petty” summer vibe song for the haters lol

Amy Green

Don't know why so many people in the comments are hating on Spaghetti, not every song has to have a deep meaning and it's a fun catchy song and Hobi's verse was awesome but the girls are great too, is it their best song..no but it's still good.

Rayssa Barboza

Omg yall just reminded me of spaghetti omg this song is a hard listen tbhhh

Ahjusshi_Brown

Lol funnily enough Pop by NSYNC is one of Hobi's favorite songs from them

Aria

Spaghetti is a funnn song idc what any of ya'll say 🤣💃🏾

mahjacat

The Exploding 'skettiHeads seems to be a Reference to The Kingsmen, (Starring Colin Firth and Tarron Eggerton), where a Technicolor Array of Detonations happens to those who thought to avoid that fate.

Ahjusshi_Brown

Since there aren't too many fans of Spaghetti in the comments, let me stand tall and proud as I declare that I LOVED the collab! Hobi is such a big fan of Le Sserafim, he's always supporting them. I also loooove the song's message. Really a clever metaphor for what they were talking about. Knowing the group's history and what they went through, I'm not surprised Hobi agreed to jump on. I know BTS can relate to the unjustified hate (plus, who else would eat like Hobi did on a beat like that lol)

jeroswat

Oh the memories. Glad to have seen this live..

Clarissa Audria

Omg what a funny first video of le sserafim's video you guys' saw HAHAHAH

Ahjusshi_Brown

Kept watching and since you asked for an explanation, I'll try to keep it brief! So about a year or 2 ago Le Ssserafim became the target of a huuuuge unjustified and really malicious hate train. It's really tied to a lot of "kpop politics" and "HYBE politics" that I won't get into, but essentially, they were being targeted by other fandoms. In that time, the girls basically disappeared for their own mental well-being. When they came back a few months(?) later, their song (HOT) immediately went #1. It was after they won #1 that Yunjin wrote (I believe the chorus of) Sphagetti! The lyrics use spaghetti as a metaphor for how haters were acting in the eyes of Yunjin. You say you hate us and that we're trash, yet when we release music, you're the first ones to consume it. You say you don't listen to our music, yet you're sneaking a bite and "cheating on your diet." We're clearly your guilty pleasure, why don't you stop lying and just admit it to yourself. The whole song is essentially a cleverly written diss track. Hobi's verse also touches on that theme, but from his position now having overcome that kind of illogical hate, taking pride in his originality, saying he's their guilty pleasure, and even capping his verse off with "from hater to believer"

Brit

Eat it uppp eat it eat it uppppp the ear worm returns

Clarissa Audria

There is a double meaning tho, actually yunjin co wrote this song and basically its about their haters that sneaks out watching them and know everything about them, consume them like a spaghetti until it stucks in your teeth, something like that i cant describe it well but it has a deep meaning especially before this was released le sserafim was being framed and hated by a lot of kpop group fans because of their coachella performance and their comeback called 'easy'. Actually they've improved after coachella and now is a top girl group who has the best stage presence omg i love them. So many people called them bts' younger sister and armys are fond of them. A few of bts bodyguards including mr lee sometimes escort le sserafim too!

OChristyNew

Happy Birthday Hobi! To each their own on how they feel about Spaghetti, but as a FEARNOT ( le sserafim’s fandom) it hits home since at face value the song is weird but the metaphors and hidden meaning makes it a great clap back song to all their haters. I love as an ARMY and FEARNOT I got a great collab. The UNNECESSARY HATE both BTS and Le Sserafim received makes it all that much special having Hobi on the song. No matter how ridiculous it may look/sounds it gets stuck in your mouth thats Sserafim and hobi is “the kick” to the sauce.

simran

Spaghetti is such an addicting song....also its actually a song to the haters...Le Sserafim had been getting some hate you can say..so they are basically sayig that you say you are on diet (don't want to listen to us) but you keep coming back to us yourself...what happened to your diet?? why are you hiding you secretly are obsessed with us...and i love it These Girls are amazing!!!!

Desiray Marshall

The crowd was so loud! They sang the entire song word for word Hobi’s stage presence is unmatched🔥

Marvelous JJ

We sang so loud in Berlin! 😭 It was incredible experience, I hope you'll get to see the whole performance at some point.💜

Alice Smith

You guys don't remember at their first interveiw together after military Hobie said he's going to Germany. 7 months ago.

Alice Smith

Give up they will never get to it. This is a series they should of started in the beginning of their show. Instead of spending so much time on the documentries. This showed them from their beginnings.

Alice Smith

Its just some of their viewers are very one-sided. They only like certain music. They need to open their minds to something different.

Alice Smith

Looks like they got more hate from the viewers today. People...open your minds to different music. This was a fun song. Sheesh.

Rae

Yesss Spaghetti is THAT song 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Yodit Y

Spaghetti became very big in Asia esp. because of the dance challenge and fun choreography, unfortunately you can't see the choreo that well in the MV. One thing I did wonder about is why LE SSERAFIM and j-hope didn't have any scenes together since they were shooting at the same place around the same time.

Y_E.

Would love to see you react to full hobipalooza in Berlin. :)

chimi102 .

Actually, we did a Korean fanchant for “Killin’ It Girl.” Phonetically, it sounds like this: Saranghanda Jung Hoseok Kidaryeosseo Jung Hoseok Jukyeojunda Jung Hoseok Killin’ it, girl! Translated, it means: We love you, Jung Hoseok. We were waiting for you, Jung Hoseok. You’re killing it, Jung Hoseok. We also did another project for “Sweet Dreams” with purple hearts. If you don’t have time to watch all of it, I recommend checking out “Mic Drop” and “Hangsang” we completely lost it at that point 🤣 Or “Mona Lisa” even Hobi was shocked by how loudly we were singing that song.

AreHope

React Hobipalloza Berlin

ELEONORA IACOVOU

Dear CCW since it was clear that the song’s dynamic, contemporary, unconventional aesthetic—as well as its meaning—was not understood, if you wish to grasp the meaning, please read what I am writing. Perhaps the fact that you are not familiar at all with Korean society and culture, and by extension the toxicity, vulgarity, and relentless criticism of mainstream media, social media, along with the witch-hunting by netizens, makes it very difficult for you to understand many things surrounding the music and the history of many K-pop groups/artists. Although your engagement with the extraordinarily talented Bangtan has given you quite a few clues about how much they have suffered and endured over all these years, something that might have helped you decode the song. Here’s a deeper focused reading of “Spaghetti” (with j-hope) and why it feels so pointed Why “Spaghetti” Works as a Message to Haters 1. “Stuck in Your Teeth / Head” = You Can’t Ignore Us The spaghetti metaphor isn’t random or silly — it’s strategic. Spaghetti: 1.Is messy 2.Gets stuck 3.Is hard to remove once it’s there This mirrors how LE SSERAFIM exist in online spaces: Even people who criticize them keep talking about them The hate doesn’t erase them — it proves their relevance In other words: “You don’t like us, but you can’t stop thinking about us.” 2. Turning Mockery Into Power LE SSERAFIM have been: 1.Hyper-scrutinized by media 2.Targeted on social platforms 3.Criticized for things other idols aren’t held accountable for. Instead of responding with a serious or emotional track, they do something smarter:  They make the criticism look ridiculous. The playful tone says: If you’re going to obsess over us, we’ll give you something loud, sticky, and impossible to forget. That confidence is the real flex. 3. “Eat It Up” = Say It With Your Chest Lines that sound flirty or fun double as confrontation. “Eat it up” can be read as: 1.Consume what we give you 2.Take it whether you like it or not 3.We’re not shrinking to be more “digestible” It’s not asking for approval — it’s forcing presence. 4. j-hope’s Role: Sunbaenim(Senior) Energy j-hope’s feature isn’t just hype — it adds credibility. He’s someone who: 1.Has endured long-term public scrutiny 2.Knows what it’s like to be judged at every stage 3.Built confidence  through criticism, not around it His verse reinforces the message: Noise doesn’t stop you — you move anyway. That solidarity matters. 5. Why the Song Sounds “Carefree” on Purpose If the song were angry or dark, critics could twist it. Instead, LE SSERAFIM choose: 1.Camp 2.Humor 3.Bold absurdity That choice says: You don’t get the satisfaction of seeing us hurt. The lack of seriousness is the resistance. The Core Message “Spaghetti” isn’t denying the hate — it’s laughing at it. It’s LE SSERAFIM saying: ‘You tried to tear us down, but all you did was make us unforgettable.’

deejebekosmos⁷

cannot wait till you watch the whole lolapalooza in berlin it was insaneeeeee. spaghetti is such a fun and catchy song fr, calling out the haters

monse

SPAGHETTI TRUTHERS MAKE SOME NOISEEEEEE!!!! i love that song, got it first listen <3 couldn’t have a better collab than lesserafim n j-hope (bts adjacent) to spread this message. i remember hobi saying when he heard the song, he felt like he related n had something to add/say n i was like “yup! i totally see it!”. both groups have been consistently scrutinized by media n kpop stans but as muchhhh as they say they hate them/etc, they’re ALWAYSSS up to date with what they do. i remember when the song dropped, antis were like “the song didn’t make any noise” “who cares” etc but they couldn’t stop talking about it LMAO. bad bitch stuck between ur teeth indeed.

AGB

Spaghetti is a metaphor. Read the comments for the meaning.

chantal bavaud

Defenetly need to watch the whole lollapalooza in Berlin

Rae Avilez

I love both songs so much! Berlin armys were so emotional that day because it had been years, (like more than 6!) since BTS had been in their neck of the woods. The whole set is fire and I can't wait for you guys to react to it. Spaghetti is my jam especially after under standing where it came from. When the hate trains first started the girls didn't know how to deal with it. They really thought it was the end of their careers. But no! They still get a lot of hate online, but now they know that their haters are just adding to the streaming count. I love the way Yunjin's mind works! It's no wonder Hobi jumped on that track. He understood exactly what they were going through. He is such a good sunbaenim to his hoobaes, always encouraging to all of his juniors. I love that about him!

Brittany Joy

To understand the song, think that le sserafim is the spaghetti lol like no matter what people will eat it up and even sneak it

kitkat7

Just another day of me being in love with Abby's clothes lol need the link to that jacket ASAP. Love the reaction as always, so excited for your Korea and Japan trip!!

Alice Smith

Thanks for explaining it so well. But unless they dive into the other Korean groups they will never understand that so many went and go through what bts went through.

Ana Paula

I wanted to suggest some content from J-Hope that he recorded after his military service, where he interacts with other interviewers from Korea. It's great. There's a vlog of his routine in LA, a vlog of practicing "Killin' It Girl" with the original dancers from the music video, a vlog of his solo tour in Bangkok, and much more. They're all available with subtitles on the YouTube channel "MBC World".🙏🏾🫰🏾🇧🇷

Sina Yazzie

Nah, let’s keep K-pop out of BTS reactions please.

Tin Tin

Hobi’s verse is actually has a deeper meaning if u watch the explanation video

thaliajmn

i mean you see it on every video they post...damn near everyone on their patreon complains about nothing and hates everything idk how they read their comment sections without sighing (even worse on their youtube vids)

thaliajmn

hobi is literally in the song. get a grip you'll survive

Kiwi

As someone who has been here since your very first video, it's Sooooo exciting to finally see you guys react to another group. I won't lie, although I am a BTS ULT, I was a bit devastated when you guys first announced that you wouldn't be checking out any other K-pop groups because I think you guys have the best group of music, art, and knowledge lovers any k-pop reaction channel has seen. I know this most likely won't change in the future so I just want to say that i'm so happy we got this experience at least once.

Kiwi

Mind you hobi loves this song, these girls, and many other k-pop songs/arists. He’d be embarrassed to see ARMY act this way towards other ARMY and other talented artists.

Angela Maria Fernandez

So I also give up on asking them to react to BTS's pre-debut songs like Adult Child, School of Tears, or Graduation Song :cccc

leat

lol killing it girl is also my jam i listen to it so much and i can´t get tired of it. the dance challange was a big hit in Tik tok and mona lisa also became a hit after it featured on forth night as a dance challange. people would stream his songs so he has a lot of new casual listeners so that was nice.

Riley

The fan chant is : saranghanda jung Hoseok gidaryeosseo jung Hoseok jukyeojunda jung Hoseok kill in it girl

Jessica

This is a snip it from the interview j-hope did on the show Omniscient Interfering View on episodes 351 & 352. Jimin also mentioned the interview on Are You Sure szn 2 in either episode 1 or 2.
