Hello CCW Primos & Primas!!

**Alternate Linkhttps://streamable.com/4uy6tf

The day is finally here!! What feels like YEARS of waiting, we finally watched the highly requested MMA 2019!!

You'll see our reaction in the video but to sum it up, 🤯🤯🤯🤯. We've gone back and watched portions of the show MULTIPLE times and cannot wrap our heads around what they were able to accomplish in ONE concert... INSANE.

That being said, there were a lot of songs in this concert and therefore a lot of opportunities for YouTube to copyright the video, and they did! Lately it's been more and more difficult to get copyright free videos on to YouTube. In Fact, We are delaying this YouTube upload another day or 2 to try and get it uploaded without any copyright claims.

As promised, we've uploaded the uncut version of the video here on Patreon for you to enjoy without interruption.

And if you have a spare minute tomorrow, go over to our YouTube video and like or comment on the video to help with the algorithm 🙂

Thanks everyone for all your support!!! See you soon!

XEN!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Your edits killll!!! Thank you for making BTS content EVEN BETTER!!! Love it😂😂

Zoé Turcotte

Colombian cousins and wives V growl voice is amazing in the old songs of BTS

Stephanie

I love how you kept writing "concert" in the description forgetting that it's an award show 😂

Shreya

aah im feeling blue so im here watching their performances with you guys again lol and now i wanna know how you guys would react to this performance cause you will now recognise what each members diff song solos were

Thida (Tee-Da)

I’m super late to the party but I loved this reaction! Our 7 kings are so loved. Best of luck to all my fellow army because 2025/2026 will be a bloodbath 😭😫

Thida (Tee-Da)

I might get shunned but it’s worth mentioning BTS built HYBE through their hard work and dedication to be top tier for army. They carried an almost bankrupt label on their backs to build it up to a multi billion dollar “take over the world” label. I love them so much. They fight over snacks, ramen, and rice cookers. How frickin humble 😫😫😫

Sage

Can you guys watch mama 2019 also ❤️

Christine Copeland aka Christine's Culinary Quest

Haha. Just started getting into your videos last week, but as a video editor I love that every single one makes me want to applaud your editor Xen. I'm a national television sports video editor and would love if you let them know I love their work! The GIF and meme edits are so fun. I'm trying hard not to be influenced for features I edit on funny athletes. haha. Love you guys too. The reactions are great! Can't wait to get caughtup with all your reactions. I'm sure it'll take me awhile though.

notyourusual

Xen, I love you lol your edits😭😂

Lizzie

One of the greatest moments of that night was watching them come up to accept Artist of the Year, still in their stage outfits, out of breath and sweaty. It was INCREDIBLE.

CatJ

Y’all watched this so early in your journey I feel like it would be fun to see you watch it now but with the bangtan bomb behind the scenes episode💜

Sokha637

Finally I was waiting since I wake-up 🤗

kookiemonster30

Don't forget it wasn't a concert. They were opening an AWARDS show.

Emma H

same 😂

Infinite Ree

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE! lol why does this feel like Christmas morning 😅

minimoni

YAY! I set my alarm for this since it's 7 am for me now and I knew I wouldn't be up when you released this. Also hope you get the copyright claims sorted out asap :)

OnaNikki

So excited for this!

Amanda Michelle

Yay!! This is the first thing I saw when I opened my computer this morning! Let's get it!!!!

SugaIsMyPetRock (Pamela)

Oh boy:) thanks for releasing early & uncut here. I always make sure to engage when you do release them to YouTube to feed the algorithm monsters🫶🏻💜

Sokha637

I feel like I will open my Christmas gift lol will enjoy it together all Army out here 💜

Anthony

You 4 made my Saturday morning extra happy 😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Kara

Yeeeesss! So excited! You guys probably know that V (Tae) and Jin are celebrating their birthday in december, so I would like to suggest Stigma and Singularity for Tae (I read somewhere that V‘s highnote in Stigma might be the highest note in all of BTS songs) and Epiphany and Moon for Jin. EDIT: V‘s Stigms high note was a D5, it is tied with Jins Triple High Note in Crystal Snow (G5) and Jimins High Note in Let me Know (G5), the highest Note BTS has ever hit was V‘s High Note in a Practice Video (trying to figure out which one) at D6.

MintChoco

Thank you so much for uploading uncut version🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Viole Vince

Oh ok , I’ve been scrolling nonstop on YouTube. I’m like nope something is wrong let me go over to Patreon😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Serendipity J

Thank you so much for the uncut version! You are great!

Pralee

I’m so excited to watch this reaction. MMA2019 is my ultimate favorite award shows with BTS and their awesome performances. It feels like I was watching a concert and not an ward show.

Madison

Try blurring the MMA logo on the video to see if it works, thats what most reactors did. MMA is stubborn all the time.

Amal

Hey, they two guys that pop up are from the same company as BTS. They are from TXT.

Zoe Del Toro

they also chant BTS in between certain lines, thats what u guys were hearing!

THi

After going through a whole year last school year getting my 4th and 5th graders ready for the National Mythology Exam, I have listened to so many Greek and Roman names - and have done my best to pronounce them correctly. For Dionysus, there's 2 ways - but just remember that the 1st and 3rd syllable will get the same vowel sound. So: Dye-uh-nye-sus (my students' opt out version for the year) or Dee-uh-nee-sus. The pain of saying the same name differently for a month until your brain finally gets it is still fresh.

Kat Taylor

I’m not finished watching yet, but the hand signal is basically a finger gun because their name is bulletproof boyscouts. I went to TTU so I always thought it was funny that it was so close to the guns up signal lol I always said I went to Bangtan University 😆

carlagirl7 .

Maeva: CCW said they did watch Persona and will upload the reaction during RM week!💜

VJMJK

I think it's time to watch RISE OF BANGTAN.if you know nothing about the whole Kpop industry you would have some wrong thoughts.

PamTan

As other comments said, for these award shows when artists perform more than one song they record previously some of the songs and add some effects like the galaxy effects. All groups do that. Each solo performance was a remix from an older BTS song V’s was No more dream Jin’s was Danger Jimin’s was I need U SUGA’s was Fire JK’s was Save me Jhope’s was Fake love RM’s was Dionysus 2019 was the year when they really blew up with success internationally, particularly with Boy With Luv which is a sequel from Boy in Luv

Kat Taylor

(Still watching) You’ll see a lot of the behind the scenes stage stuff, including quick changes and transitions, when you watch the documentaries and movies. It shows a lot of that! 😁

gagan

AHHH its finally here i'm so excited!!!

Madison

That's funny that you've never seen J-Hope do his thing. J-Hope is the dance leader for a reason, you'll see it more when you get around to his solo work. He's a great dancer.

Rebecca

Yayy!! Love you guys' videos <3 new to patreon :D

Zoee

You should react to jhopes headliner performance at Lollapalooza. He was the first Korean artist to headline and he had a crowd of around 100k he broke records that night

minimoni

They are right tho? That was Yeonjun and Soobin during Boy in Luv.

o_kay

TXT appeared during boy with love and N Flying appeared 2nd during Dionysus

TSO 아포방포

Big Hit usually releases the fan chants at the same time as the new song or album. Ahead of the performances. Army learns it, and chants at the appropriate places during the performance. Sometimes it’s a word, sometimes a phrase. There are times that Army makes up a chant as well, like the one for JK, which is adorable. (As for the hand sign which is a gun, they later started using the I love you sign too)

THi

Songs have Official Fanchants that are put out by the company. For people going to the BBMAs, we got the Boy With Luv fanchant a few weeks before the BBMAs in 2019. But for 2018, we only got the Fake Love fanchant less than 48 hours before the show. I remember staying up late in my hotel room trying to learn the Korean parts. There are always KARMY who put out guides to help, though.

o_kay

N Flying (the guys in the crowd that appeared during Dionysus) are actually a rock band, they play instruments. I thought I'd comment that info since you wondered what kind of music they make and if its similar haha.

J

Lol do you mean concert = awards show 😆 MMA=Melon Music Awards MAMA=MNet Asian Music Awards

Alrine Novianda

yayyyyyyyy!!! next please react to BTS (방탄소년단) Black Swan Perf. + ON + Life Goes On + Dynamite @ 2020 MMA BTS (방탄소년단) Black Swan Perf. + ON + Life Goes On + Dynamite @ 2020 MMA

Madison

Do J-Hope's Lollapalooza performance. He was the first one to break off with solo work and go to perform at Lollapalooza, the full performance is over on Bangtan TV & it does go over an hour (1:15 ish) So if you do react to it, you can break it up however you want if the hour is too long.

Jhianne02

I like that you guys are also starting counting some things that represents BTS. that is actually very ARMY way. Hahahahha.😆😆😆 Regarding the different versions of their songs... That's one of the good things of watching BTS live and in concerts. They always use a new version of their original songs. I'm excited for you guys to watch some of their recorded concerts then for you to say, "oh! That's this song, That's that song." 😄

Keindra

I think is augmented reality

Madison

And you're right, Covid kinda messed the award shows up for Korea, it was really weird in 2021 even just accepting the award. But its better now and actually J-Hope is performing solo at MAMA in about 4 days.

Mygee

You can see the behind video on bangtantv youtube channel. Search for Episode MMA 2019. And Mikrokosmos is pre recording, so in the award show it was show through screen while the boys preparing for dionysus. Same with MMA 2018, Airplane part2 also pre recording, if I remember correctly. Sorry for my bad english, 😅

kalten

MMA 2020 would be great to watch next! You have listened to all songs in it already except for Life goes on, so after that one you would be good to go!

Ayoj

That was so much fun … and in this music awards shshows Bts perform the last , it’s like the grand final and they got more time in their performances than the other artists.

Madison

They have a lot of behind the scenes videos for this peformance, I'd put the links here but they may get lost in other comments, if you really want to check them out, put a community post for links of behind the scenes for this.

Monica Ledesma

There is a behind the scenes where they come off stage. That's were you will see our 7 magnificent men coming down from the stage . You will see how hard our boys really put in.

Lisa M T

I've seen this performance a dozen times, and it still blows my mind. Great reaction!!

Christine Canada

It's not even BTS concert. It's an award show lol BTS always gives their all on these award shows showing everyone how amazing they are. Korean award shows always put the most popular artists at the end of the show and give them more amount of time than other groups. This performance was the last one before they announce who the Artist of the Year is, and of course it was BTS <3

Amanda P

Both 2020 mama and MMA are amazing too!! Can't wait for those! But it's true this one is just a whole other level of epic and amazing

floo

Wow that was so good i was waiting for this and also i hopu you watch their busan concert too

Ally Quintero

Oh guys the hype hasn't even started, many moments like this still await you! and better, so don't worry. BTW, MMA 2022 was yesterday and they won everything again. They didn't have a presentation because of their break but still the awards show played a video in honor of them with a compilation of all their presentations and awards worldwide, calling them LEGENDS at the end. MMA 2020 was amazing and BIG too, they never disappoint, I think you have figured that too............. If you ever feel like you will run out of content or cool presentations, remember this: Hobi's Lollapalooza, the Yet to come Busan concert, 20+ The rise of Bangtan episodes with their deleted scenes and bonus content that are equally amazing,150+ RUN BTS hillarious episodes, 32 Bon Voyage amazing traveling episodes, 12 In the soop episodes, 300+ songs, one better than the other with all the MV's and live performances, Over 1000 Bangtan Bombs, BTS episodes(that are extended bangtan bombs where you can watch all behind the scenes), The MINDOBLOWING BU (Bangtan Universe) short films in the wings era, docummentaries, movies, many other concerts, solo work, dance practices, interviews, Vlives, MAMA award shows, festa presentatios, Musters and new releases (Indigo by RM is coming, and J-hope's solo presentation at MAMA too). It took years to other reactors to cover this and they've never lost the hype and excitement, it only grew. Hehe I know I'm missing more things, so you'll be busy. Love you guys so much!!!

Ally Quintero

I was thinking about it since yesterday haha

Emma H

'Xen best ccw member' 😂

Monica Ledesma

They actually sweeped all the major awards that year. Poor boys didn't have a chance to sit and rest. But they so deserved it all.

Kearyce Moore

For each solo you just watched, are bts songs. V (no more dream which is their debut song), Jin ( danger), Jimin ( I need u), Suga ( fire), Jungkook ( Save me), J hope ( fake love), and RM ( dionysus ofc lol).

Sokha637

Since this morning I was thinking about that ..so happy to read from you then they wins all like usual..you guys just make days 💜

Amanda Michelle

LOVED your reaction!!! Omg, you guys are almost as cute as BTS!! LOL!!

THi

If you watch the Behind the Scenes for 2p19 MMAs, you'll see the prerecorded parts - like Mikrokosmos. They are very enlightening to watch anyway. The Grammy 2022 Behind the Scenes was kind of amazing because you really see all the work they put into a stage performance. It's really recommend watching it.

Marcy Turney

This is 🔥 if you watch the mv for life goes on you can watch the 2020 performance since that’s the only song you haven’t seen on that one! Also Jin’s birthday is coming so I’m looking forward to his birthday week! If you want something funny and to here Jin rap lol you should watch the video of Jin scolding the BTS members, it’s hilarious 😂 loved watching you guys watch this!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Neringa

Jungkook and his chicken while taking another award. 😂

Ally Quintero

The real enjoyment will actually start with the Docu-series "The Rise of Bangtan" this show doesn't let anything out and will answer all your doubts. It also is the best way to know the guys and grow with them. Waiting until the day you guys start this :)

Neringa

Giving away our secrets I see. 😄

Blythe E!

YES PLEASE DO WATCH MMA 2020 SOON GOODNESS THAT DANCE BREAK AND BLACK SWAN PERF! I watched this MMA 2019 Reaction Video after finishing another midterm and god has it been rewarding + xen yes you are the best your edits and memes made me crack up twice as much. I am so excited for the four of you, loved all of your comments (too many to go through one by one goodness) and am so so happy getting to watch you on this journey. See you next week you guys!

Feqah Razali

congrats on watching this & still alive 😂😂.. Cause i almost had attck cause watching this while eating 😅😅.. you guys should react to the older MMA too.. Cause their prfrmnce are "WOW" & unforgottble.. Keep it up guys cause we had 2 years without them after this.. Btw: We Army called NAMJOON as President cause hes a president.. Dint u guys saw how he walk on the stage with so much aura like hes walking for BTS & ARMY.. namjomm represnt us so much.. Without him there will be no BTS

Monica Ledesma

Yes MMA 2020 IS AMAZING IN ITSELF ALSO. HAVE TO WATCH.

Chantelle

They were actually closing the award show!!! They were in fact the last performance 😆💜

Su

It was amazing to see your reaction, I literally wait here at 2 am in Australia waiting for your reaction to drop so i can see it and then sleep. I have seen this performance so many times and it still blows my mind. You can next watch MAMA 2018 in Japan (FAKE LOVE + ANPANMAN) or MAMA hong kong 2018. just so many great performance to choose from.

kookiemonster30

Oh sorry. That makes more sense too. I thought it was either one of those. Thanks!

Michael Yiannouris

I loved seeing your reactions... you were all more verbal than my first time watching it. I just sat in silence for about an hour in disbelief. An award show!... I am from the US... and we should be embarrassed! A few answers for you. Yes, Suga wrote the piece that Jimin danced to... you can find it on YouTube. Sugar and RM write most of the songs and Suga produces. JHope wrote Dionysis with RM. Each member was one of the Greek Gods... I can't remember them all, but a google search will clarify. I also heard that they have said that MMA 2019 was to be their last performance before taking an extended break and re-evaluating their directions, but then Covid happened and we were blessed with 3 more years of content and songs propelling them even more to the global stage. I also think I remember seeing that awards were given after this performance...BTS won them all... sweating and still out of breath! Thank you for this reaction!

Angie7

And this is an AWARDS show!🤯couldn’t wait for these reactions…to say they are mind blowing is an understatement…..but you are nowhere near mind blowing with these guys …we never are …imo …these guys can’t be outdone….NOONE does it quite like them! Thanks for the reactions…💜💜💜💜💜the hand gesture at the end of Boy in Luv and Boy with Luv means I luv you …if I’m not mistaken…..Thankyou for sharing your reactions my favorite thing next to drowning myself into BTS content is watching new Army’s reactions to as they experience the unbelievable…..BORAHAE 💜💜💜

Ally Quintero

Oh yeah this!! when you have an space in your agenda, watch this concert. This one was their LAST concert together before military service, and until 2025. This was huge and beautiful in all ways

Mickay23

FYI: MMA 2019 was the Best Performance show of BTS that they won 4 major award or in Korea they called it Daesang Award. They Won Artist of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. They are the 1st artist who got that award. And today MMA 2022 they won a Record of the year award and they call the BTS as “Worldwide All Time Legend"

Somol Mean

I can’t wait until guys react to the 2022 Busan concert….you guys will love it 💜💜💜💜

Bora Companion

This is not a reaction recommendation but meant to give you - particularly Summer & Abby - the chance to learn the BTS fan chant. It’s for Boy With Luv. Summer & Abby are already doing the ‘Oh my my’! And ARMY is loud & clear. The subtitles have BTS’s lines & ARMYs lines so you can easily follow along. https://youtu.be/dKHsskaD_4s

Neringa

The songs each member performed are remixes of: V - No More Dream (theirs debut song) Jin - Danger Jimin - I NEED U Suga - Fire Jungkook - Save Me (good ear 😁) Jhope - Fake Love Not one are solo song.

Yukari

I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this but it never gets old! So Daniel, you won’t see it for the first time ever but you will enjoy it over and over again! The songs you heard during each solo dances: No More Dream (their debut song), Danger, I Need U (there is a video of Suga playing the piano and JK dancing!), Fire, Save Me, Fake Love, RM walked out to Dionysus intro I think… They are in order of their release. Also MMA 2022 day 1 just happened overnight and BTS as a group did not attend but Hobi will perform Day 2 of MAMA (Wednesday). For MMA, only Koreans can vote whereas MAMA, everyone can vote and it was intense! BTS did pick up another Daesang (their 67th) and they did a whole tribute to their history. There are so much live performances to check out… Burn The Stage, Bring The Soul, Break the Silence (concert footage plus behind the scenes): Permission To Dance LA (on Disney+), Yet To Come in Busan (most recent), and of course JK’s performance and MV for FiFA WC called Dreamers. I’ve no doubt you guys will get to these over time. I watched part of the MMA 2022 and it wasn’t the same without our boys. Thank you so much for your reactions!

Maeee

Suga's WAS called "Fire" it's not a solo tho, very good!

Maeee

sameee

OT7Bangtan

Thank you for the morning gift. "Dionysus" is the best live performance at an award show. EVER! Not only do you have BTS and their amazing vocals and dancing, but the crew. I have never seen backup dancers/stagehands pull off both choreography and prop-moving. THE GREATEST!!! Btw, there are dance practices for each part of this award show performance. The 2019 MMA is my favorite award show performance. But each year there is always an epic component. You mentioned the 2020 dance break...oh, you just wait! 🔥🔥🔥

Jodi Yamagata

Thank you! Loved your reactions to this MMA 2019, yes, this was the Best MMA for BTS. 😊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Neringa

Each performance of BTS are top notch. Just some goes even extra more. 😎 Like you can watch all Butter performance and still enjoy it because each is different. Also there Dionysus choreo practice for MMA on Bangtantv. https://youtu.be/GbUlWapHAuI And whole behind the scenes for MMA 2019 https://youtu.be/aMhIQVFvyf4

Aysha Siddiqui

That was called a performance in bts language 😌😌🔥🔥🔥🔥btw you should check RUN bts dance practice to and JHOPE at LALLAPALOOZA 🔥

Kearyce Moore

When yall do a week for MMA 2020, ya'll should also watch the medley of dope, bapsae, fire, and run at their concert in Seoul, Korea. You will be mind blown at that as well.

Andressa Crystina

Mama 2019 is amazing too. The music We are bulletproof is 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Rokm_

Ah finally a reaction to the 2019 MMA’s! You guys were so cute all open mouthed and excitedly watching the performances, very ARMY of you. Making us proud of being their fans is what BTS does best ;) The solo stages were not solo songs but snippets of songs that somehow had a big impact on their journey as a group. - No more Dream (V’s solo stage) is their debut song from their first mini album in 2013. - Danger (Jin’s solo stage) was the chosen single from their first full album in 2014. - I need you (Jimin’s solo stage) is a song that had a huge impact on their career. - Fire (SUGA’s solo stage) also was a big success, went viral in Korea and Asia. - Save Me (you guessed right) (Jungkook’s solo stage) is also one of their biggest songs ever. - Fake Love (J-hope’s solo stage) had a big impact in skyrocketing their career globally, especially in the US market, alongside with DNA in 2017. All these together were telling us a story of their amazing journey as artists. And the closure with Dionysus (with a dance break of a new version of N.O - one of their oldest songs as well), was very well done. BTS swept all the awards that year, and with reason. You guys asked if other K-pop artists are capable of doing what BTS does and with impact, and they are not. There’s a reason why BTS keeps being called the best in the industry. It’s because they are. Them and their production team went all out for this performance. And their concerts are also so so fun to watch. They truly are amazing, charming, talented and fun performers. Again, you should really watch one of their live concerts to see so for yourselves what I’m talking about (my suggestion is their latest released one, although from 2019, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself - The Final, In Seoul. It’s… I have no words to describe how perfect it is. AND at these concerts you also get a glimpse at their solo performances that happen in between one or two group songs each). The MMA’s 2020 is unique and beautiful in its own way too. It’s not as huge as this performance was because for one there’s no live audience due to COVID, and we know ARMYs fan chants are a big part of each BTS performance because it makes everything all the more impactful and beautiful to see. The guys are always talking about how much they enjoy seeing army live on stage, we are their rechargers you know? So, although it was sad ARMY were not physically there to sing along to the songs with them but the MMA’s 2020 was still very incredible in its own. I know people were telling you guys about the break dance at the end but for me the most beautiful was their Black Swan performance. I’ve never seen any group do something like that. It’s truly magical. Thank you for sharing the link here with us without pauses. I loved your reactions. Hoping to see more soon 🥰

Serendipity J

That was an amazing reaction video, i enjoyed so much! It's so fun to watch BTS with you! Thank you so much!

Monica Burton

Ditto. Didn't feel the need to make another thread, lol.

Filanthi

That dance break in Dionysus is epic! Glad you guys enjoyed it! Even though MMA 2020 was during the pandemic and the performances were filmed, they are also sooooo good so you should check it out. I think you will love the dance break in that one also 😁

Rose Ann Malhabour

Thanks guys! There are a lot still that you need to check out! You have Lollapalooza headed by Jhope and Busan concert. They are all amazing

Laura

LOVE your reaction!! I enjoyed so much! You have to watch the dance practice of Dionysus for the 2019 MMA! Its amazing too!

Teresa Nike

This definitely an epic performance at an awards show. As for the last song yeah the stage hands have to be on point for sure . Dionysus is an amazing song . If you ever do their dance practices that one even if you have seen it here it will still blow your mind . Oh one last thing not too many reactors catch the individual lights coming down so good catch.

OT7Bangtan

Did you guys catch the trust fall of RM and Jin and the reverse trust fall of V and Jimin? This is definitely a show you must watch multiple times. You will be shocked at everything subtle, but epic arrangement. ☺️

화은 김(Jullisa)

My favorite award show is MAMA 2018 in Hong kong.(pls don't confuse with MMA 2018) I love their performance, interaction between members during award show, their acceptance speeches which made me and them cry. link: https://youtu.be/-lDzJ-sKegI

Cherry Valens

That’s exactly what I thought and so many people miss that when watching it!

Josie Mccuin

They have a lot of amazing MMA and MAMA performances 2020 was awesome they do some crazy things always surprise me this just happens to be a favorite don't be discouraged to not watch the others you will be blown away...💜💜💜💜

Cherry Valens

Thank you for this, I loved watching your reaction! You are so fun to watch BTS with! Cannot wait for more content! Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

EB

I’m so glad you guys enjoyed this so much - it is definitely epic! There are a few portions that were pre-recorded: RM’s Persona, Mikrokosmos, most of the solo performances, and the intro to Dionysus (for safety reasons due to the horses). I believe Jimin pre recorded his solo, but then had time to do it live so he went out and performed. The behind the scenes are up on YouTube if you’d like to watch to react or just for fun on your own time. Look for the version on the Bangtan Subs channel as it’s from before the time subs were included on BangtanTV uploads. There’s a lot of fun details in the performance that I’m not very well versed on, but the lights that drop down form a constellation and during Dionysus each of the members represent a Greek god. All Army love the fan chants and are very enthusiastic with them, but KArmy take them to the next level. They are amazing with the fan chants! MMA 2022 was actually a few hours ago. The guys did not attend, but did win 4 awards including a daesang for Record of the Year. It is common in SK to use AR (augmented reality) during performances like they did for Mikrokosmos. BTS used it a lot for their online ON:E concert in 2020 and the awards shows used it a lot in 2020 as well, especially MAMA (I think in an effort to offset not being able to have a live audience). Seeing the amount of production put into stages compared to what we do in the US for major awards shows really opened my eyes to how far behind we are with a lot of things and how little effort a lot of Western artists put into their craft. Since finding BTS I’ve really upped my standards for what I expect from an artist. They have literally NO bad songs (except for ON ft. SIA, but we don’t acknowledge its existence since the original is amazing). I don’t expect every artist to put on amazing over the top performances like BTS, but I realized that a lot of artists get a lot of praise and fame for doing the bare minimum. I just love what BTS puts out into the world. They don’t just TALK about trying hard, they actually DO it. And the way they tackle real life issues in their lyrics without resorting to the sex, drugs, and violence tropes that so many other artists use is refreshing. I’m excited to see what you guys will watch next! I have my suspicions 👀, and if I’m right it’s going to be a lot of fun!

zaphyre

ok now on to MMA 2020! Lol just kidding I have yet to watch this one, thanks for the loooong upload <3

Jimena Costilla

Excelente reaccion chicos !! Me reí mucho con "quien querra presentarse despues de ellos?" Y la verdad es que nadie... jajaj BTS es el show central asi que siempre cierran con su performance! Son los mas esperados de los premios y la frutilla del postre!!

Merlin Francia

Mikrokrosmos performance is pre recorded you should also watch their behind the scenes in bangtan tv it's called BTS episodes .

Josss

Like I said they are so ICONIC like legendary!!!!!!

Destini Hardin

Yay!!! This performance literally took my breath away when I first watched it and it blew my mind again watching it with you guys! Their energy was unmatched! I felt tired afterward haha. I can't wait for yall to watch more live performances, honestly, BTS is better live than they are in the music videos. Like their energy, playfulness and personalities shine live! Could yall put on your list to watch their live Medley they did In Japan I think? Here's the link to it! https://youtu.be/39MWKvYAdAk I appreciate everything yall do for us, I always look forward to watching and sharing BTS with all of you! Borahae 💜

Thank you guys for the amazing reaction and to Xen "best ccw member" for the great editing. Abrazos 🤗

AAWWW watching this again with you guys definitely made me so happyyy .. i even felt sad a lik when it’s ending and you guys finally said byee … i purple youuu I’ll be missing you while waiting for your new videos !! Thank you for everything! I purple u 💜💜💜🥺🥺

carlagirl7 .

You guys were all of us when this originally came out!!! (I will post this on the channel as well) Fun Facts on Dionysus Performance: ~ The “rap line” (Jhope, RM and Suga) are credited as writers for “Dionysus”. ~Performing at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea, BTS basically turned it into their very own Mt. Olympus!!! ~The OPENING has each member of BTS portraying a character from Greek Mythology while performing to snippets of a BTS group song (not solos): V is Apollo (Song is “No More Dreams) Jin is Ares/ Athena (Song is “Danger”) Jimin is Artemis, the twin of Apollo (Song is “I Need You”) Suga is Hades (Song is “Fire”) Jungkook is Poseidon, hence the water (Song is “Save Me”) Jhope is Zeus lights are his lightening bolts (Song is “Fake Love”) RM is Dionysus (Song is “Dionysus”) BTS debut stage in 2013 was so short. So, for them to be given over 40 minutes to perform (what we see is an edit) is basically them turning an award show into THEIR mini concert and their stage is always highly anticipated at these award shows! Recommendation #1 You MUST watch MMA 2020 (Daniel, the version of Black swan IS the orchestral version you heard a while back AND the the performance is amazing AND WHAT THEY DID WITH DYNAMITE.....YOU JUST HAVE TO WATCH💜 Recommendation #2: Boy with Luv is BTS and ARMY (Halsey being ARMY ***I know you have already reacted to “Boy with Luv” but it will be so fun should you decide to react to YOUR OWN reaction video on that song, now that you have taken up residence in the BTS rabbit hole and you can share more on how you see BTS now vs back then! *** (Love you guys and excited for what you have next!!!) Borahae!

Nayli Qistina

Oh wow now i cant wait to see you guys watch the MMA2020 IT IS INSANEEEEEE

BangtanTV

The performance practice next please 🙏 💜

Ally Quintero

Yeah, like at the Busan concert, they arranged many songs in such a cool way, to make them sound better live.

Alsaaa

Just incase anyone has not wrote it before, all of those snippets for solos were actually BTS's group songs not solos heheh... It started from their early days and reached till dionysus in a way...

Alsaaa

Also I believe you guys would be shocked level 100 when you watch busan concert, because I couldn't process that thing for a long long time , these guys are monster performers

Maëva

MMA 2022 was actually today! They didn't show up but won 4 awards. BUT on Tuesday J-Hope will have a solo performance at the MAMA!!! J-Hope's solo Lollapalooza performance was mind blowing so I just can't wait for Tuesday!!

Leidy Sanchez V

ohh yes, I forgot to tell you, please when you react to "I need you" do it in two steps. first, watch a lyric video so you can concentrate on the music and the lyrics and then watch the music video (all in one video). Pay close attention to the mv since this is the beginning of the "bangtan universe", a fictional story made up of different bts mv's and other content.

Rissy

Xen, your great and thanks for a great reaction, CCW. It was a blast to watch, particularly when the horses come out I get sensory overload and need to close my eyes for a second. 🥳😁. Then later RM asks, are we ready? Hahaha.

Lorij Nay

Please do yourselves a favor and watch the Dionysus dance practice....you will really appreciate what they went through to give us this performance! You can't really see all the dance moves in the live performance because there is so much going on...so please react to Dionysus dance practice!!! Also when they did the solos they were representing the different Greek Gods!

C P

Ok I absolutely love your video editor 😂💜. oK for the Asian awards, esp. Korean, they will have some parts pre-recorded when BTS (or other artist it isn’t just for BTS’s performances) go a day or two before and they film the performance with all effects and lighting and such, and they broadcast that in the set when the artist needs to go change and when the stage needs to be set…. Many times they will allow some fans to be there for the taping. During the actual award show, the artist will come out and perform live and then go change when the pre-taped segment is shown on TV and on the monitors in the venue and then they will get in place for the next “live” segment: sometimes they just use VCRs (the little mini movie looking clips like the intro with them sleeping) and sometimes depending on how much needs to be changed and the logistics they will also insert pre-taped performances. For this show, the BTS members actually came out and performed their solos LIVE while the pre-taped elements were broadcasted , but Jungkook did his without the water for the live show. Mikrokosmos was pre-recorded and produced with the overlays, that is when they changed and then they each came out and did their solos (most of them in the black suites for the ending song) except Jimin who had slip over Dancer pants over underwear/shorts and dance shirt that he switched to his regular clothes between his solo and Dionysus. Fancams show the guys dancing solos in their black suits instead of the white that V, SUGA, and Jin were seen in during the clip… and Jungkook in his Dionysus clothes instead of what he danced in the water in, There are other award shows where fans took video of them coming out to perform live during the pre-taped segments and then getting in place for the next live, so they pretty much performed the whole thing live anyway, and Dionysus live is AMAZING! Thanks for reacting!!! Y’all are awesome! And yes those are all sample/remixes of their other songs. We have begged BigHit/Hybe to release an album of the award show and concert remixes LOL.💜

Rissy

This was a great comment and useful info for me too. Thanks!

Rissy

Particularly JHope's solo, i loved the performance but i could see the choreo better in the practice. It's worth the watch.

VoidOf_V

I have watched this like for quadmillion times but it always gives me chills, they are monsters live performers deym, good thing you survived coz my first time watching this I actually lost my voice through all the screaming. LOL. They swept all 4 main awards (daesang) that night and the first ever kpop artist to do so. And pls do watch MMA 2020 nexttttttt... Thank you for the reaction! Been waiting for this. BORAHAE

yoongi

PLEASE WATCH MORE BTS RUNSSS

Marsha B

enjoyed every minute of your comments and reactions and facial expressions!! lol.. loved it and this 2019 MMA always brings me back WOW memmories lol

Ella loves Seokjinnie

It's an AWARDS show hahaha a lot of the other kpop groups are there hahaha but BTS turns it into their concert hahaahaha

Chris Augustine

I will never forget the 1st time I watched this. I remember my heart was beating so fast by the end of Dionysus. It is one the reason why people love watching reactors so much because you want to recreate the feeling of seeing it for the 1st time again. This never gets old. I have seen this performance about 20 times and it still blows my mind. It is the most hype thing I have ever seen. I think boy meets evil.. 2016 MAMA performance is my next favorite.

SRK

YASSS. Now -> MMA 2020! :D They performed Black Swan, Life Goes On and Dynamite.

Lorij Nay

Also this performance is the most expensive live performance ever done!

Rosalita16

Okay now you guys have to watch mma 2022, it has thee best Black swan performance ever and more

Neringa

I wanna to see them react to it so bad. Like if they are OK, they can put all performance/reaction at once. I never saw ARMY complain about long reactions. 😅

MJ

Yes! I love love this reaction! I’ll never forget when this happened. I actually took a trip to LA (across the country from me) to see BTS perform at the 2019 Jingle Ball and this performance happened while I was there. I swear I watched it every day for a couple of weeks because it was so mind-blowing. It also had a ton of little Easter eggs like the lights that dropped down for each individual performance made the constellation called the Corona Borealis. It’s made up of 7 stars and symbolizes the Princess Ariadne in Greek myth, who married the god Dionysus. The constellation represents the crown that she wore at their wedding. There’s also a theory that each member was meant to represent a different Greek god or goddess or facet of Greek mythology. Obviously Jin with the Trojan horse. Another example is that Tae and Jimin were meant to represent the twins Artemis (Jimin-godess of the moon and hunting) and Apollo (god or music/archery/poetry/lotsa things actually). A pair of earrings was even split between between them: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EjJI14GXkAAksDS?format=jpg&name=small). There are many more but this is already long. Hopefully you know me, coming in with some tidbits because I could talk about this all day. Also wanted to give you this fanchant example. If you listen to the song with this up, you can see the bolded parts where the fans chant (ou can also find fan chant guides on youtube to be able to really hear how they’re supposed to go) https://btsfanchants.com/song/bts-boy-with-luv-fanchant-lyrics/ The Mikrokosmos performance had elements of augmented reality! So that's how you were seeing the celestial bodies. I've seen it said by many ARMY that "something shifted when that horn blew during MMA 2019" and that's honestly such a mood. The individual sections weren’t solos songs, but a bit of a journey through their musical history. Here’s a rundown for whenever you decided to watch each of them. They can all be found on the youtube channel “HYBE LABELS” (I know you’ve already seen Save ME and Fake Love, but I had to include them for the sake of completion) BTS (방탄소년단) 'No More Dream' Official MV - The title track from their debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013). (Performed by Taehyung (V) in the MMA performance.) BTS (방탄소년단) 'Danger' Official MV - Title track from their first full studio album Dark & Wild (2014). (Performed by Jin in the MMA performance.) BTS (방탄소년단) 'I NEED U' Official MV (Original ver.) - Title track from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life (often abbr “HYYH”) Pt 1. (2015) (Performed by Jimin in the MMA performance.) BTS '불타오르네 (FIRE)' MV - The title track from The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever (2016). (Performed by Yoongi (Suga) in the MMA performance.) BTS (방탄소년단) 'Save ME' Official MV - Also first appeared on The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever (2016). (Performed by Jungkook in the MMA performance.) BTS (방탄소년단) 'FAKE LOVE' Official MV - Title track for the 2018 album Love Yourself: Tear. (Performed by Hobi (j-hope) in the MMA performance.) [MV] BTS(방탄소년단) _ N.O(엔.오) - (Found on the youtube channel 1theK with eng subs) - Title track for their second mini album in 2013 called ORUL8,2? (“Oh are you late, too?). (EDM version heard during the dance break during Dionysus.)

April Forgue

They not only have MMA performance but they have the MAMA as well. 2019 will always be my favorite and jimin solo is my favorite performance. I was sad for 2020 not only was there no live audience so it did not have the same energy but Suga was out with his surgery for an old shoulder injury he finally got repaired. Jhope will be performing a solo at MAMA this year and I am looking forward to that. RM solo album is released on 12/2 so that will be amazing as well.

justsarah

I'm so glad you guys liked it. I've watched it several times and I still can't get over the GRANDEUR of it all.

Sandra

That was an "Epic" reaction! I'm excited for you to see the MMA 2020 performance. I also can't wait for you all to start watching The Rise of Bangtan series. Its a documentary about BTS and will help you understand how they started as a hip hop group. And understand about KPop in general.

dulseokbangtan

Minimoni are my biases too Jordan of course we have to count Yoongi, can never forget him 💜

Mindy Rhoades

Yay! Thanks for reacting guys I loved it! Is Abigail’s bias J-Hope? Or at least bias wrecker? Because she seems to smile and love it every time he comes on. Also Summer’s look when the editor put whipped while watching Namjoon is me watching him all the time. I’m definitely whipped for that man. Everything he does is amazing to me. 😂 we need a video to know everyone’s bias! RM is my bias and OT7 are my bias wreckers!! I love them all so much.

Bree A

they release behind the scenes footage of performances in a package called Memories and for that year, we saw how after the performance, bts rushed to the back and totally collapsed from how tired they were. Some of them were heaving, others looked like they wanted to throw up, and they had medical staff giving them oxygen. This performance took a lot out of them

Fatini

I want you guys to start reacting and watch the Bangtan Universe in order. It helps with your journey to know BTS songs more in depth and the message they’re conveying. All the theories and connection will mind boggle you. It’s a really great guideline to know about their discography more in order.

Kat

I’m so glad y’all saw this. It’s the best performance I think I’ve ever seen in my life. American or otherwise. Even the individual intro parts and through the dance break to the end. So much NEW choreo, amazing to hear the remixes of the old songs. Nothing could ever top this for me (and it’s the ONLY time they did this performance)

Borahae

Hahahaha I was waiting for you guys to get it. That the light bulbs are for each member.

justsarah

Ok now listen/watch Daechwita - arguably Suga's most iconic solo

OT7Bangtan

It's one of my favorite parts. It's not to be missed.

Keisha L

Each awards show performance is a combination of three elements: 1) VCRs: non-performance elements (introductions, transitions, etc) that are shown on the screens during the actual show; these allow time for blocking, wardrobe changes, etc. 2) Pre-recorded performances: songs and other performance components that are recorded onstage at the venue in the days before the awards show (generally for logistical reasons); these are also shown on the screens during the actual show 3) In-show performances: songs and other performance components that actually happen during the show/in front of the audience The broadcast will show all three elements with the live audio, so the cheering you hear during a vcr or pre-recorded portion is the audience reacting to seeing it onscreen. For this show, iirc these are the pre-recorded performance components: Mikrokosmos, parts of the big Dionysus intro* and most of the Dionysus solos. However, BTS being themselves, they also performed most of the solos onstage while the prerecorded versions were playing on the screens. So there are two versions of those solo performances, the official pre-recorded ones and the fancams of the onstage performances. Boy in Luv, Boy with Luv, and Dionysus (including the N.O dance break and the part where RM walks with the thyrsus) were live in-show. As others have mentioned, we usually get an Episode (on BangtanTV) that shows behind the scenes preparations for the performance. * I still remember being on social media and hearing reports of horses at the pre-recording! :-D The seven lights that descended after the solo performances form the Crown of Ariadne constellation (in mythology, Ariadne was wife to Dionysus).

Meliii_iii

The best in the industry🔥😎💜😍

LoveOT7

I will never forget the first time I saw this performance. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🎶💜

JeonAdela

Yes I jumped in to the rabbit hole after watching this one I was just mind blown, can't wait for the 2020 reaction it is different because it was in the middle of the pandemic but is amazing

karina_army62

Just so you know, ARMYs never get tired of watching long reaction videos, so never fear! We’ll be there with you!! 💜

sam Rivero

You guys should watch the burn the stage docu series they have it shows behind the scenes at their concerts

CJ

Xen best CCW member 😁💜

ava

are u guys planning to start watching run bts again?

Natalia Wii

OMG Y'ALL HAVE TO WATCH THE DANCE PRACTICE OF DIONYSUS

Kajri

Jimin said he almost threw up by the end. You can see the fan cams and you will see them completely out of breath getting their seats and they won an award right after. I would highly suggest to see the dance practice on this and you will see insane details especially the backup dancers moving everything around. When I watched this I was stunned for a good few hours. I at least have seen this 100 times

Jessica Ortega

You should definitely check out BTS-Boy With Luv-Comeback Special Stage on Mnet K-POP channel. The video has the member name fan chant and also the chanting in the song.

Aimee Flavell

Finally!!! This was epic!!!! 💜

Ana Miranda

Kajri

You need to see the MV for I need you

A. Brown

This is hands down my favorite performance of Dionysus, masterpiece!

Keisha L

I dug up a fancam to illustrate what I was describing: https://youtu.be/9-rVo9sDzuQ. It's most evident with V and Jin, since they're in white for the official version on the screen, but performing in their black Dionysus outfits onstage. I wanted to double-check so I erased it from my initial post, but the first part of Persona was pre-recorded as well. Like the others, RM performed that part live as well, but you can only see that version through fancams (here's one: https://youtu.be/RFJUfPb_Cxg) I have so much respect for the effort that they put into these performances. The pre-recordings became necessary as the scale increased (can't have a pool of water in the middle of an awards show stage, lol), but the guys still perform onstage for the in-person audience. It's like you get the blockbuster movie and the intimate stage play all at once!

Moon

The songs that came out during the member's individual dance are arranged by BTS in the order of release. The song that came out when Jimin danced was an arrangement of "I Need You" on the piano. V - No more dream, Jin - Danger, Jimin - I need you, suga - fire, jk - save me, j-hope - fake love.

Danessa Hastings

Best award show performance... i know BTS has a lot of content..but you should definitely check out other groups and korean artist, the level to artisty is above and beyond amazing. Groups: Monsta X, Txt, seventeen. Solo artist DPR Ian is amazing, woosung, Taemin, Eric Nam, just to name a few of my fave. Please check them out too it will definitely be worth it.

MeeiYoongi

I like how you watched/listen to the songs first it's original form prior to watching the live performances because you'll get to appreciate the remixes of those songs LIVE. BigHit likes to remix the songs for live performances, and it's such a treat because it's like a whole new song sometimes and it's always so refreshing! I suggest you keep doing that - watch mv/listen to the original song first then watch the live performances. I wanna see if you can pick out the differences. I think you'll get a kick out of it, like I do. :)

Alex White

Now we need Permission to dance on stage la on Disney plus

GigiCrews

Loved your reactions, but all of their performances are great!

Catia🇵🇹⁷

Ola primos. Muito bom obrigado💜🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹

fransi kaye

I cried off and on through the entire thing. Goosebumps galore. And JIMIN'S DANCE!!!!! I am dead now. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

fransi kaye

Thanks! I have been unable to figure that out! But MMA 2019 is hands-down my favorite concert! (Ok.. the beginning of MMA 2016 Jimin and Hobi, yeah. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. )

Kara

Nice explanation

RL

Hey! Watching the reaction, have to say for clarity - they often do use backing tracks, so often harmonies that you hear or high notes or even all the melody is the backing track (still usually not so loud, so you can hear them actually singing). With all the crazy choreography it is completely understandable. I dont know about western performances, but in Kpop its a norm, they usually use backing tracks in performances. But its used not because they cant sing smth, but to level up the performance and give it the right feel. Also - its normal than in cd version music has a lot of adlibs, harmonies etc. - a lot of going on, and you cant do it completely the same while performing. Especially while dancing like crazy.

Mile DG

Me encanta!!! apenas me desperte corri a ver si estaba, amo ver esta reacción!! saludos chicos.

isalo

I believe for mikrokosmos, the two ring of lights were drones (about 300+), that they usually deployed during their concerts.

fransi kaye

Yesss..... the acceptance speeches! I rewatch the final one a lot.. the reason for them crying so much is VERY important to their history from early 2018.

Zoe Bees_V

You need to watch MMA 2020. The Dynamite Dance break is Iconic.

Zoe Bees_V

Please Watch "Life Goes On' Performances, It was out during Covid and it Hits #1 Hot 100. It's amazing song.

Mile DG

*RECOMENDACIONES: MV SERIAN => FIRE (con su Dance Practice) Blood Sweat & Tears.

Jzone

Did I miss your reaction to Intro: Persona?? I was surprised when you knew the song and MV. If you watched it on your own time, great! Not everything has to be recorded. Lol. Have a great weekend guys!

Mile DG

Michelle Vergara

LOVE LOVE LOVE your reaction! I know you said you wanted to go back and watch Boy with Luv again, please watch the Army version of the video. It is an official MV, but dedicated to Army. It’s your cute.

Nicole Holdsworth

This was such a fun reaction to watch! And just to give him due credit, it’s actually Jin who recorded those high notes in Dionysus!

Armystic

I love you guys … but someone take the pause button away from Daniel!!!!! Lol But for real so glad you guys got to see and enjoy this!!! Such an amazing show of who they are!! So proud of these 7 incredible humans!!!

Ree

Yesss let’s get into the mv’s of the snippets you just watched. Also, Christmas is coming up guys! It would be nice to watch the BTS Christmas Carol Medley Special! 👀 here’s the link https://youtu.be/D09aWA_lhG4

Njoud

I recommend you watch the behind the scenes of the preparation of this show by bts, and Xen best CCW member 🥰

Njoud

Thank you guys for the fun content 💜

LINDSEY WARD

I have watched this epic performance so many times and it's just like watching for the 1st time every time! The songs that I remember from the individuals are: Danger, Fire, I need you, Save me and Fake Love. I can't seem to recall the one that Jin danced to, hopefully someone can help me lol.

fransi kaye

Okay. Just finished reading the comments on the preview vid you put up this morning. I would be willing to send you some dollars to offset the costs to those that either can't afford Patreon or are in countries where it is not allowed. It breaks my heart, esp. for this particular vid. If there is a way to communicate with you directly please let me know. I am in DC, so I can also give you my number!

Afirah Shaikh

This entire performance is so incredible in so many ways but Jimin's solo act here blows my mind every single time. It is such a dream, so damn beautiful.

Kasapo Mwanza

But now you need to watch MMA 2020😂😂😂

Armystic

Not the kill it , keep it adlibs… those are jungkook…but those gorgeous “honeyyyyyyyy” and the crazy yelling adlib note at the end…. Absolutely jinnie killing it!!! His unique unique tone and high note

Meagan.OT7

xen best ccw member!!!!!

Atyrah 2001

MMA 2020 next 🥺 please

Afirah Shaikh

Also the songs they did their solo performances on are not their solo songs. The one Jimin danced on is I Need You, it is the first song that brought well deserved recognition to BTS they were on the brink of bankruptcy at the time and I Need You became a huge hit and saved their band from disbanding. Also I Need You and Boy In Luv are two songs that I would love to have official acoustic versions of. We have gotten little bits of them in live performances but there's no official acoustic ver. to either of them. I mean just listen to the beautiful piano in this.

Kasapo Mwanza

Jimin did the intro his solo live..he was the only one who did so iirc

OnaNikki

Such a fun reaction!!!! ☺️

R Kwek

Yes!!! We're finally here! Thank you, guys! I hv watched MMA2019 a gazzilion times & it always fill me with joy seeing reactors get blown away when they experience it for themselves. Watching you guys take me back to the very first time I saw it back in 2019, barely 2 weeks after I went down the slippery BTSxARMY rabbit hole. Looking forward to share the rest of your journey with you. You're the best! Borahae! 💜💜💜💜

inluv.jm

now you need to watch MMA 2020!!!!!!!

Maeee

I think they’ll put it out near RM week/when his solo comes out

Afirah Shaikh

*Everyone has a bias unless you're OT7* Just to be clear guys you can have a bias even when you're an OT7, having a bias doesn't mean that you don't love and respect the other members just as much. The people who only like 1,2 or 3 of the members are called solo stans because they are not the fans of the entire group. I have my bias and bias wreckers but I'm also an OT7 for life.

Keisha L

Yup, you’re correct! Jimin’s solo was the only one that was broadcast/put on the screen as he was performing. RM, V, Jin, Suga, and J-Hope performed onstage while the prerecording was broadcast. Jungkook obviously couldn’t perform his solo onstage, but I did see a fancam of him in the wings dancing along with the prerecording. 🥰

Bere Muñoz

This is impressive even though I saw the MMA I'm still impressed by everything that BTS does thank you very much for the reactions are also behind the scenes of these awards maybe you can look at them you could also react to Bom Voyage S4 which for me is the funniest or in The Soop

Curie Jose

How are you guys after watching this? heheheh it really was an epic production number!!!! This was my 3rd introduction video of the Boys back in September 2020 and I was super amazed. Time always flies by when watching any content of them. The hand sign is the BANGTAN sign. There is a behind the scene of this performance. Hopefully you could also get to watch their acceptance speeches on winning the awards. Behind the scenes https://youtu.be/GbUlWapHAuI Their acceptance speech https://youtu.be/wzqkDXw-938

Afirah Shaikh

And since Jin's birthday is coming really soon (4th of December) I'm assuming (and hoping) that you guys will also do his birthday week just like you did with Jimin. I want to recommend some videos for his birthday week. *Live Solo Songs* Epiphany Live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKqtyJReVVk&ab_channel=BangTanS Awake Live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29R6OhyiDWQ&ab_channel=Queen *Personality Videos* Comedy God Kim Seok Jin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OD528EEA94&ab_channel=ChimChimofBTS BTS is whipped for Jin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUccvwU8plU&ab_channel=jinnieeats Jin being so done with BTS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsEAhWOp2g4&t=618s&ab_channel=SugArmyy Jin being playful but BTS are done with him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9RZgshsYJw&ab_channel=SugArmyy Jin vs Armys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6rAOIo0ecE&ab_channel=SugArmyy BTS calling Jin handsome every chance they get https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVntoZcUcG8&ab_channel=jinnieeats You can do a poll for personality videos to choose one, honestly there are so many fun videos of Jin but I personally love a few channels because the videos are well edited and easy to understand. I started watching these channels when I was a baby Army myself so I thought I'll recommend some really good videos by them.

Kavisha

Of course we are still here. For example if you decide to watch J-Hope's full solo concert at Loolapalooza we will be there for it's entirety. With you every step of the way.

Cycology SPIN and MORE

There are videos to see the preparations. BTS episodes for EVERY major thing they've done!!! Check out the BTS episodes on BANGTANG TV! You will love watching the EPISODES!! No need to react or comment on everything- some is just for you to enjoy! The episodes showing all the preparations are just awesome!!! Bangtangtv is the channel and scroll down to episodes! There is MORE than you can ever watch! But it's my favorite part- the episodes! Especially when they did New years Eve countdown in NY!! WAS EPIC!!! THANK YOU FOR DOING MMA 2019! I AM HAPPY NOW!! :)

Cycology SPIN and MORE

Also, right now Jungkook is TAKING OVER THE WORLD with his EPIC Dreamers performance and MV for the FIFA World Cup!! You have to recognize it- even if just briefly- it's legendary and he's honestly making HISTORY! It's crazy crazy good!!! Love y'all!!

Cycology SPIN and MORE

Okay, lastly you need to see some of the awards acceptances.... somebody please suggest a link!! You'll never see such genuine heartfelt speeches!! They cleaned house at almost all of the international awards shows from 2018- to today!!!

Rae Avilez

Same! I was like "What did I miss??"

Rae Avilez

YAASSSS!!! Please to these!!!!!!!

Jemina Välilä

Haha so happy you guys finally got to watch this it is legendary! If you're planning on watching the 2020 MMA's (with the amazing dance break) there are only four songs Black Swan, ON, Dynamite and Life Goes On, the latter of which is the only one I think you haven't seen yet. Also, it is a bit different to their other shows since it's filmed during Covid times and thus an online show and Yoongi is missing there cause he was on a temporary break after his shoulder surgery. But it's still 'unforgettable' like this one!

you could also watch the behind the scenes for the mma 2019 !! it’s on bangtantv i think it’d be more interesting and informative to see how they prepared for this - here is the link if you decide to do it !! https://youtu.be/aMhIQVFvyf4

Rae Avilez

Okay, I have no chill. I was thinking about joining pateron next month but this was a must see reaction so I clicked join just for this reaction. Looking forward to all the other videos in the future!

Akayla Drake

OMGGGG YALL SHOULD REACT TO JHOPE'S "LOLLAPALOOZA" PERFORMANCE

Irish Trina

Amazing, outstanding, epic, unforgettable!! Perfect descriptions of this whole performance 🙌🥰 And Xen best ccw member 😉💜

Donna

What’s another insane thing is that Jimin’s solo dance break was live.

Madonna Montejo

Those snippet song are No more dream(debut song), danger, i need you, fire, save me, fake love and Dionysus. I hope you guya could also react to their Japanese songs like Crystal snow, your eyes tell, film out, light and look here. These are just some of them. And i really hope you could react to them specially the live version of the first 3 songs on this list. Thank you💜💜💜

Jane L

I'm not sure if you'll be able to upload a reaction to youtube, but MAMA 2018 - their artist of the year acceptance speech is worth a watch. that was such an incredibly emotional MAMA. they first one artist of the year (the major award/daesang) in 2016, and again in 2017 (both MAMA performances are outstanding). But to win a third time was incredible. There are compilations of their award appearances with English Subs on youtube.

ColombianCousinsAndWives

Thanks Fransi. We decided if we can’t get this in YouTube we’ll make the patreon post public for all.

fransi kaye

Ok. Well remember my offer for when possibly needed. I am very blessed in life. (70 yrs. Lol)

Jihyun

Tbh, while all the extra production stuff is super amazing, I personally prefer it being in moderation so I can focus on the guys just performing back to back, like in the 2018 version. They're both mind-blowing though. Loved your reaction as usual!

fransi kaye

I agree. Dont hesitate to check some of the behind the scenes without thinking you need to record your reactions. Especially if you are watching after already reacting to a performance. These just like flesh out the appreciation for the performance itself.

Keren Metz

Love your reaction as always and am glad you enjoyed this truly epic performance!!

Armystic

“He’s almost adlibbing” at the end of “boy with luv” Lmao actually jungkook is actually adlibbing and harmonizing with each vocalist on and off during that whole last part but not sure you caught his live vocals bc you stopped a few times in that section so it disconnected a lot of it … but the vocal run adlib in the music is also jungkook and the run at the end of “boy in luv” that summer was impressed by after all that dancing was jungkook live….. it’s like something he does a lot live if he’s the ending part of the song.. he did it at the end of boy in luv and boy with luv both… il love it… it sounds so satisfying!!! Also I didn’t mean this in a negative way about the pausing or anything I was just trying to explain the bits and pieces you guys were talking about at the pauses since it didn’t seem like you knew what was happening and what was different live than the original. That’s what we mean when ppl talk about jk adlibbing and harmonizing live…. He does so much more live that you can never hear in the music… he’s incredible at it… it’s so satisfying bc I love adlibs and harmonies!!! It’s how he became my bias lol but wow how incredible are each and every one of these guys?!? I mean any of them can make your jaw drop and cause you to smile ear to ear!!! They’re energy is something that comes from being the very special and hardworking artists that they’ve always been. Think they prepared for this for 3 months…. And the whole lead up to it just is incredible…. They really is no one doing it like BTS imo

Armystic

Maybe after they get to know the whole group more lol not exactly the same thing before they do.

Atutami

That was so much fun! It was cool reliving it with you guys 🤗💜🥳 thanks and looking forward to your next video. Much 💜 from Amsterdam!

BZ

That is such a well done series. The story telling is amazing. I also second you guys watching The Rise of Bangtan on YouTube :)

Armystic

Everybody’s dance was live lol except jk stood on the side of the stage doing his dance while his video played since his performance with water would have been impossible w the time limitations… everybody else’s stages had so many moving parts , moving panels, multiple dancers, the light show for hobi … jimins was just him and the fabric lol but even his that we see is also including some of the prerecording. There’s fancams of the rest of them performing live but in different outfits bc they didn’t have time to make the outfit changes with all the staging and styling… so it’s okay to appreciate all of them doing their solos live … not just jimin

Daniela

thank you for this reaction 💜 you can see now why they are the best group in the world, just amazing my 7 angels ❤️‍🔥 so talented each one of them 🤍

Sugareul

Don't feel sad lol BTS has soooo much content for you guys to cover that it'll literally take you years to get through! Also they did an episode of run BTS this week you guys should check out, you guys should actually watch them all lol!

Armystic

You going to tell them the other songs too? There are others not just jimin .. ot7 or bounce

Rissa Simpson

Poor RM in this hit himself in the balls with his Staff

BZ

I second that :D

Majo Cabr

dawn

I'm glad you loved it. It is a very special performance. And remember--it is just an awards show!! You forget almost how it started! Abby's mouth gaping was THE BEST!!

dawn

By the way...I believe they won all the daesangs--the grand prizes. I think. Can someone check me on that?

Nancy Marshall

It’s not the highest but it’s definitely amazing, especially considering he’s a baritone. Blew my mind! He for sure his the widest range. The highest have to be between Jin’s highest note of his triple high note run in Crystal Snow or Jimin’s ridiculously high note in Let Me Know.

zahierah zainol

JK is doing the most Ab-lib And harmonies with all member you guy should he jungkook the main vocalist by Ida S, he credit all most all BTS song

Nancy Marshall

The video they made had me thinking the MMA editors are full ARMY! It was epic! 😋

Echo

This was a flex for BTS considering how the company started. You should consider checking out behind the scenes footage of the Dionysus practice for this show and dance practices in general. You get to see all the sweet choreography you missed during the show/ mv and get to see each of their dance styles... there are some pretty prominent practices. They're worth the time. J-hope has videos of him dancing/practicing on bangtantv "hope on the street" and vlive. There are official fan chants for each song btw. Just like the choro once you learn them, you'll have to sing/dance them. Your whole team is crushing it btw.

Maeee

Yesss! It’s sucha good video

Nancy Marshall

Haha!! The reaction was great! Abby’s jaw dropping was all of us! For the fan chants, there’s a list of them on the US BTS ARMY website along with a lot of other info. The fan chants are in the 3 lines at the top left under The ARMY Hub. Here’s the website: https://www.usbtsarmy.com

Donna

All their performances were live, I know that. I just know that most that was broadcasted for the solo stages (and what the reactors saw) were pre recorded and Jimin’s wasn’t. He could’ve easily done a pre recording too, but he chose to perform in front of the live audience. Sorry but I wasn’t downplaying the other members by praising him.

Dina Garcia

Now you have to see MAMA 2019 as well!!!

ChrossxXxRodes

I'm so glad you guys watched this and enjoyed it!! It's legendary!!! I would recommend checking out the dance practice for the Dionysus MMA 2019 dance break, dance breaks for the songs period (just about all their big songs have dances choreographed specifically for them, i.e.--Boy With Luv), and if you're curious about other KPOP groups, I'd suggest TXT! They're in the same company as BTS and considered the "little brothers" but have their own style, story line, etc. They're a good jumping off point!! :D Thanks for watching!

Shelsea R.

This was soooo much fun!! Thank you guys so much! 💜

Ri

i’m an abigail simp now. so cute

Yasmin Shehada

Thank you for that reaction! It was so much fun!!!

Betty Suwan

OMG such an epic reaction!!! Loved this so much guys thank you for reacting I was looking forward to today so much 💜 Please react to the next most epic awards show performance- MAMA 2018 including their Artist of the year award acceptance speech 🙏🏼💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Drew Hester

New patron here!! so sorry if I am recommending something already in the works, but I would love to see you guys react to 'Louder Than Bombs ' and 'We are bulletproof: The Eternal' Louder Than Bombs has a great sound, and I'm not sure if you guys have heard this type of song from BTS yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZSVbrV4-Xs We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal is a just a great song and I interpret it as a gift from BTS to ARMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UWBYJjuIL0 OH! the Blood Sweat and Tears official MV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmE9f-TEutc

DL

YES PLEASE, THE SONG THEY USED FOR SUGA’S INTRO WAS THERE SONG “FIRE” THEY RELEASED IN 2016. DEFINITELY A HYPE SONG 🫶🏽

deejebekosmos⁷

Ahhh I think everything I wanted to say was already said above. I can never get over this video, especially the Dionysus intro and Dionysus itself goodness, absolutely mind blowing! Can’t wait for more videos to come!

taesthetic_mots

I actually got patreon just to watch your MMA 2019 reaction

Ashleyder

Donna is correct. Everyone except for Jungkook *performed* their solos live, but what was broadcast, and what is shown on the video they watched, is the prerecorded performances for everyone except Jimin. His was broadcast live. It's ok to appreciate the fact that Jimin took the risk of broadcasting his live performance ... in the behind the scenes when he is practicing, JK and Hobi express amazement themselves over him doing it live.

Mumbejja

Watch Fire, and some of their earlier songs. They are so good!

Jessica Rivera

You guys are the FIRST reactors who noticed the melody of O Come Emmanuel during the VCR in all my years of watching reactors! I'm not surprised since Summer referenced Hillsong earlier in the video 😊💜

ema

pls react to bts’s special run bts ep telepathy part 1&2

PJ

This might have been mentioned already, but Jimin's solo stage song you liked was I Need You (the song is not a solo), I can't wait for you to watch this! 😊 This song changed the course of their journey at a time where they were considering disbandment due to lack of funds, I Need You got them their first major win. The actors and props you see in the MV are actually their own staff and the staff's vehicles (their director's vehicle gets a little messed up 😄) because they couldn't afford anything more. Please watch the Original Version when you do, the other one lacks certain scenes in the MV and this is the first BU content they released, so "everything's important!" (as we all know by now lol). 💜

l

really hope yall get into their docu-series, i feel like many people forget they are human... Their docuseries on youtube shows what happens after they get off stage and how much work they put into their performances. I truly admire them sooo much

AnastasiyaK

Hi!! Thanks for such a great reaction! The individual songs that each member danced to are actually group songs! And each of them have music videos so I hope you'll check them out soon!! The piano song that you loved so much is I Need U, their first song to win a music show award! (Its also the song that starts the BU storyline, cant wait for you to get into that!) Looking forward to all your future bts content!! 💜 (p.s. Abigail and Summer, yall are so precious 🥰)

Jordyn

The song snippets were: V - No More Dreams; their debut song Jin - Danger Jimin - I Need U Suga - Fire Jungkook - Save Me Jhope - Fake Love RM - Dionysus *Note that they were remixes of these songs. None of them were solo songs; all group songs. They actually are in release order too.

Dani

hi!! i loved this reaction!! some video idea for you guys to react on - jhope’s lollapalooza performance - some fun compilation videos from (sugarmyy or kookiestaetas) - watching the boy’s individual vlogs they uploaded on bangtantv keep it up! you guys are my favorite reactors

Alice

Don't worry there are an almost endless amount of incredible performances out there waiting for you! MMA 2019 might be one of the biggest and bestest performances, but there are many I love even more!

Keesgarden

Thank you! This was just fabulous. Watching BTS content with you is so much fun. I am late to the party as well, having only found them a few months ago. And like you, I think how could I not know!? The comments are always worth reading as I learn so much and find more things to watch. Yes, EMMANUEL!!! My favorite Christmas song. But why? BTS doesn’t do anything randomly so what is the meaning of this song in this presentation? If anyone knows, I hope they speak up.

Amanda Sottani

Love it !!! J-Hope - lolapalooza performance pleeease 💜💜💜

Juliette

About 90% of Kpop artists look up to bts and idolize them like there is another group called txt and they are in the same company they have some interaction like at award shows or just meeting in the company building going for lunch but they work in the same company yet there music is so different they have like a rock vibe and another group called stray kids form another company and there technically “competition” but stray kids love bts like they go on live sometimes are react to there new released mv’s and talk abt them and how impressive they are along with a LOTTTTTT of other groups also bts usually go last at award shows so they give them more time and they have to come up with something for that period of time so every year they always get a longer screen time so each year the performance level increases

Gloria Cleveland

Yes, MMA 2020 is worth watching. It doesn't quite have the same energy since there was no audience due to the pandemic & Suga was absent for months getting shoulder surgery (when they were trainees he worked a second job to make money delivering stuff on a bike I think & was hit by a car & crushed his shoulder. for years, he'd get shots in his shoulder before & after shows so decided during the pandemic to finally go for surgery). But yes it has a great Dynamite dance break, a beautiful Black Swan performance, and a performance of ON which was supposed to be the epic opening for their Map of the Soul 7 World Tour that got cancelled due to the pandemic. They also did Life Goes On from their Be album. That's their pandemic album - low key but great songs & lyrics that really captured the mood of that time in history.

Joy

I just want to add a little clarification about the pre-recording comment because I see this a lot. It’s true, the individual intros are pre-recorded, but they all still performed it live with exception to JK. They all performed it in their Dionysius outfit except for Jimin. For anyone interested, this is a no zoom fancam of the intro. https://youtu.be/CZLO-dwgaHA

Patricia Fraga

Yay! You finally made it to this video! This was so fun getting to relive this performance though your eyes.! Great reactions, I cannot wait to see you react to the 2020. I do want to recommend something for after, when you are ready please react to "BTS at 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong All Moments" https://youtu.be/0kj6WEy62JU this is the link with English subs. This is so good! 💜💜💜

Genevieve Kentwell

Definitely watch Fire, I Need You and Danger. All awesome. So much content still for you guys.

Steph K

LOL I want a "golly" count from Daniel on this one, and I'm only 8 minutes into this video.

Maya Dewi

Hey guys!! Love the reaction so much! I noticed that you're curious about how they pulled off this fantastic music award performance. There are some behind-the-scenes videos that show their preparation and how they shot some of the scenes. - 2019 MMA Behind The Scenes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMhIQVFvyf4&t=234s - 2019 MMA Dionysus Intro Dance Practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYs4bRYZxIA - 2019 MMA Dionysus Dance Practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bccr1BwNI0Y - The boys reaction to their intro dance practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbUlWapHAuI&t=111s I think this will give you some insight on how they prepare for this unbelievable show. Borahae!!

Steph K

I'm coming back now that I've finished watching this video. Great reaction. I like how you are all so thoughtful while watching, not only about the songs, but the choreo, music, meaning behind what they're doing, etc. Each member is meant to symbolize a different Greek god in their solos, which is why another light (or star) shone in the sky every time another member came out. -Jin is Ares, god of war, hence coming out on the Trojan horse -j-hope is Zeus, god of thunder, hence the lasers or lightning surrounding him -RM is Dionysus himself with his staff -Jimin is Hermes, the flying messenger, soaring through the air with his acrobatics -Jungkook is Poseidon, god of water -V is Apollo, god of the sun and the arts, hence that bright background and all of the twirling acrobats -Suga is Hades, god of the underworld, hence the fire. I look forward to whatever you guys will dive into next. There is a never-ending amount of rabbit holes to fall through when it comes to BTS. Personally, I hope we get to see you react to the MV for Spring Day + the Italian ARMY explanation of the video. It hits really hard and shows you what kind of men they are. But whatever you do, I'm sure it will be great, and I'll be tuning in. You get a bunch of recommendations, so don't feel pressured. Thanks for the great reaction. I'd been looking forward to it for a while.

Cathy Smith

Ok my favorite thing about the comments section - There are always Army who know way more than I do and I always learn something. This particular thread is full of stuff.

Pat Reyes

Mma 2019 is definitely one of my favorite performances. Just epic (you were on point, Abigail!)! I tend to watch this at least a few times a month. Lol! But if you ever wanna see what happens behind the scenes, they do have 3 Bangtan bombs dedicated to this performance: the behind the scenes of 2019 mma, the choreography to the dionysus intro, and the choreography to dionysus. And they’re all on the bangtantv yt channel. Would be cool to watch you guys react to them too, but even if you just watch it on your own time, I think you guys would enjoy it either way. Just wanna say thanks for taking us on your journey!

Bryan Dang

Please listen to Joke by RM

J. Lao

This performance was EPIC! BTS made history in 2019 by sweeping all Daesang (grand prize) awards both in MMA and MAMA award shows, and of course, other award shows in Korea also. They debuted in 2013, only won their 1st Daesang in 2016. But by 2019, they are the artist with the most number of Daesang wins in Korean music history, and they still hold that position up to present with a total of 67 Daesangs in total (this number doesn't include yet the other awards they've won aside from Daesangs). Watching BTS live is never boring despite their many contents out in various platforms, because they always always always find a way to surprise their audience - dance breaks, effects, etc. They always give their 200% in every performance and they always keep it fresh. Thank you for reacting to this and it was so fun to watch your genuine reactions :) I can't wait for your new reactions.

swagleste

I think it would be cool if you guys watched the behind the making of this whole thing. It’s awesome to see how much hard work and dedication they put into their craft

Aliphsi

This was the last performance of the night, no speeches or more awards, the show ended after this and I just stared at the screen for like a whole minute with my mouth open. 2020, 21, we had covid and no crowd, so there were more limitations. Their performances are still great tho. They always give their best. And this year, since it’s their slowing down on group activities, they won’t perform as BTS, BUT Jhope is performing on MAMA

DanielleM

This was awesome, thank you all!

Stacey.briggs

I’ll start 1st by saying, I leave long a*s comments most of the time, so prepare 1) JK his performance in the water & I think V’s performance was actually taped prior to the award show, definitely JK’s was so he didn’t have to hurry and dry off, Melon filmed this perfectly, all seems live, which 99% of it is actually live, but just like their concerts, they have what is called VCR’s, like the video of them sleeping, all of that is taped, that gives them a chance to change quickly, and yes they do change quick, some of Mikrcosmos was CGI 2) the solo parts were not actually their solo songs, they each had did one of BTS’ songs over the years, - V danced to No More Dream - JK danced to SAVE ME -Jin danced to Danger- Jimin danced to I NEED YOU - Suga danced to FIRE ( what he says at the end is “I’ll forgive you” this video is awesome, she explains the meaning of this song if you want to watch it https://youtu.be/xtZ6Qztd8xM ) - J-Hope danced to FAKE LOVE and finally the leader kicked off DIONYSUS 3) The part where you called it a music break is actually called a dance break, which are always epic, well everything BTS does is epic let’s be honest, right! Their song N.O. was remixed in with DIONYSUS for the dance break, which no one ever either notices or just doesn’t comment on it, but I was impressed ALSO with when they were dancing in pairs, what RM and Jin when they go to the end, they both fall like you do, can’t think what it’s called, but it where you fall back trusting your friends to catch you, trust fall or something idk, anyway when they fall Jimin and V pop up like at the same time or sec. before they fall. Finally, (yes as I said it’s going to be long) MMA BTS is ALWAYS the last one, biggest epic performances always, that and MAMA both of these award show BTS puts on mini concerts like nobodies business, oh and 1 more award show, well actually 2, one that’s also epic are GDA “Golden disc awards” and TMA which is The fact music awards, not that epic of performances, but still so much fun cuz hey, it’s BTS, and yes those were other idols reacting to BTS stages at the award shows which they have video’s of idols reacting to other idol performances, GOT7 reacting to BTS are hilarious both groups are close friends, Jackson & Bambam are like #1 fans of BTS. Finally finally sorry, the two guys that were the 1st to pop up on the screen that surprised you, those were their dongsaengs ( younger sibling male or female, or if you want gender specific namdongsaeng which is younger brother - male ) from their record label, which are 5 members TXT or Tomorrow X Together ( Tomorrow by Together ) MAMA 2020 how can people have forgotten this epic stage from LGO Yoongi as a hologram, the Dynamite dance break, I always felt that MAMA was their knock down drag out epic mini concert award show, more elaborate than MMA ( as of this writing MMA was or has actually on for 2022, BTS was not there, no performance so didn’t even watch it, such a sad year these will be until BTS might perform like these epic shows again, personally I don’t think we will see anything like these last few years again, I think which don’t attack me, but I do not see BTS as a whole group that the next chapter are their solo careers with possibly a group farewell concert, or hopefully like GOT7, they come back and perform every so often, but more focus on solo careers, just some info I have gotten but I take all the info given to me by a grain of salt too, lots going on behind the scenes we do not completely know as of yet Now that was finally, finally, finally the end. So sorry

Kara

Thats what I thought too, I think Jins triple high note is higher, but in my opinion V‘s Stigma high note is the most stable high note, so they‘re equally as good. Not sure how high Jimins High Note in Let me Know was.

Kara

Okay, did some research, edited my comment

Georgia

Watch ‘Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS’ he is the ad lib king and he melodies behind every member also when members are sick he covers their parts also including the rap line! Honestly you will love the video he gets credited to pretty much every song BTS has, his talent is endless.

Georgia

Also Disney + has the whole permission to dance concert! Please do a reaction to this! 🙏 it was when was allowed to do shows again after lockdown, was such a surreal concert and so amazing to see BTS back with ARMY! You will also be able to see what it’s like at a full BTS concert!

Tati

if you guys decide to react to another boy group, I suggest stray kids. if you decide to react to a girl group, I suggest mamamoo(a.k.a the vocal queens of kpop).

Afirah Shaikh

Lol I only talked about Jimin's performance because they thought it was his solo song and I Need You is my fav among the other songs they performed solo, so I wanted to clarify that. ARMYs can't appreciate something about one particular member because of people like you who are too quick to judge. FYI Jimin is not even my bias

Daniela

Please don’t start recommending them to start reacting to other groups when they are just getting to know BTS 🙄 They can’t even recognize their faces when they change hair color or style yet, it will be a mess if they start with another group…

fluffy

I REALLY ENJOY YOUR REACTION GUYS! yall really point out things that i missed even after i watch this show multiple times. GOOD JOB FOR YALL! after this maybe you can focus on several music video or their personality for a while but if you want to watch another music show performance i recommend you to watch MAMA 2016 and MAMA 2018 (their performance, award speech and behind the scene) it gonna be lil overwhelming (as me being army is still overwhelming by the emotion even until rn). If you want to check out MAMA 2016 i think the music video you gonna watch first is Boys Meet Evil, Blood Sweet Tears and Fire, but if you want to check out MAMA 2018 first i think the setlist is similar with MMA 2018. ALSOOOO I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU REACT TO RISE OF BANGTAN SERIES and of course the next run bts reaction. i really glad yall enjoying this bc i can see your eyes sparkling when you see bts perform and also the jaw dropped tho lmao can relate. also I REALLY LOVE THE EDIT IT'S ALWAYS ON POINT XEN! STAY HEALTHY!! YOU NICE KEEP GOING!!

Yasmine SB

I hope this will be a safe place just for BTS, nothing against other groups but it never ends well, I saw too much reactors manipulated later by false narratives or being paid by other labels to talking bad about BTS.. Personaly I'm here just for BTS.

fluffy

not wanna being negatives, but sad bc it's true. also the fact that bts content itself it still LOTS LOTS to dissect. it's like never ending content even when they decided to take "break" lmao im crying, so good luck to catch up 9-10 years content from bts CCW <3

Keesgarden

Do you know why they chose that song for that spot? I really really want to know the significance of it.

shel

is there a reason to be so rude? we all were baby army having a hard time recognizing them too and they are already amazing at recognizing people and voices and they will get even better I'm sure!! I don't necessarily think they need to start watching other groups either but don't feel like u need to say it so rudely.....

Chantelle

It was the the last performance but there was actually awards still given out after there performances which was the 4 grand prized that they took home lol then that’s when the whole awards was over but they were the last performance 💜

Daniela

Where exactly am i being rude? I just said what it’s true, they can’t recognize their faces when they change their hairs, or recognize some members voices when they sing, of course all of us were baby army at some point, i just said it’s not a good idea to jump to another group when they still have a lot to learn from BTS Why would I pay their Patreon to be rude to them !!

CDragon21

That was wonderful! Your reactions were perfect! I'm so glad you enjoyed this performance - I really enjoyed seeing your eyes get wide and your jaws drop. lol

Prilz

Lmao at suga making angry songs 😩😂😂😂 he just a savage really. He’s very calm, collective but will hurt someone’s feelings wit his songs for sure 🤷🏻‍♂️that emoji is him😂 but thanks for the reaction! This group is definitely amazing at everything! Also, as others said I hope you react to BTS only! 😩 no offense to other groups but none compare to bts 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😂 plus there’s so much content to catch up on. Entertainment forever lol

Daijah

It’s timee~ Mariah carey

Maritza Islas

This was one of those performances where we all I believe collectively thought, they didn't need to go this hard and yet here they are proving to everyone why they are at the top of their game and why they are where they are. Also keep in mind this was 2019 and they've only just grown that much more. They world is BTS' and we're just living in it.

Aliphsi

I probably just blackout or got to excited and thought it was over. it was my first MMA live. It's way funnier and very fitting they won everything after that performance.

Stacey Goudge

A lot of this performance was recorded ahead of time and played at the awards ceremony. That is how they got the effects for Mikrokosmos, it was pre-recorded. All of the solo performances were pre-recorded except Jimin's. He wanted to do his live. Their solos were done to group songs just done with a more classical version. V danced to No More Dream, Jin danced to Danger, Jimin danced to I NEED YOU, Suga danced to FIRE, JK danced to SAVE ME, J-Hope danced to FAKE LOVE, and finally RM stamping the staff on the ground started DIONYSUS. The opening sequence through boy with love was live and Dionysus were live. You really should watch the rehearsal video and the making of video. Thanks for another awesome reaction. Also, the next longer reaction I am going to have a drinking game for every time Daniel says "golly" 😂 JK, love you guys 💜💜💜

Valary Atieno

I loved it,thankyou for this beautiful reaction 💜

Stacey Goudge

No attacking you but I do disagree that they will focus more on solo projects once their military service is done. I think they will be back in full swing as a group and have a lot of new material from being apart and from doing solo work now before their military service. They do not lie to ARMY or keep us uninformed when necessary. They said they will be back as a group in 2025 and that is what they mean.

Tasya K

you HAVE TO and NEED TO watch the MAMA 2020 and MMA 2020, my personal favorite were ON performance on MAMA (they did this in a stadium :o) and Black Swan & Dynamite on MMA 2020

vasha3095

mma 2020 next pleeeeeeeaseeeeee

JH

All I will say is "gallyyy" LOL!! One of my fav reaction vdo's of CCW! While ARMY never gets tired of watching this performance.. glad you all truly enjoyed it. Thank you!

Rasha

Hi guys, New patreon here, just wanted you guys to know that I truly apreciate you genuine intrest in Bangtan, I love to hear your input, every one of you come with a different perspective. Regarding your remark of the ad libs by Jungkook on Boy with Love, I thing it will be great if you watch the video, Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS by IdaS. It shows all the behind the scene work that JK does, it's really impressive and gives a new aspect of him

BRENDA MURPHY

I just signed up on your Patreon! Yay! I am always looking forward to your contents. :) Anyway, first few minutes i kept on hearing you refer to MMA and MAMA as their concert and I can't help but be amused. Both MMA and MAMA are Award Shows (Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards, respectively). However, BTS are not holding back at all in their productions at these award shows that it would seem like a BTS concert. A year ago yesterday & today, I watched their PTD concerts in L.A. Yes, I went to watch them for 2 nights. The anxiety from trying to get a ticket was very much worth it. Yeah, getting their concert tickets are called "Hunger Games". Anyway, I hope someday you will all have a chance to watch their live concerts. The energy is so unbelievable!!! AMAZING!!!

Trust me here, this is not a BTS concert, it's a awards show. They were the last ones to go on, ( can you imagine trying to follow this? LOL). They won best the yr. prior, so they got to end show this yr. Also, this was maybe the last time they had to prove them selves to anyone! There was no one who could deny them after this. The piano to Jimin's solo was the intro to I Need You. There is a short MV on you tube of suga playing that Daniel might like. I'll find the link and send it to you via message. Stage hands have nothing to do with scene changes during performance, it's all done by the back up dancers. In every show, everywhere. Back up dancers RULE! You will have to watch this last song ten times to catch it all. Have you figured out they dance like this and have air to sing yet? They had one on stage rehearsal with BTS and back up dancers, one tech rehearsal with costume changes, and one tech rehearsal which was done the AM of I would imagine, or, later at night, after the first show was finished, ( I believe this goes 3 nights. with the last night the actual awards handed out. I have been looking for ARMY who attended to explain all this, and I wish there was a show who asked BTS how they did all this, but so far I haven't been able to find one. ( Believe me, I have searched.) I wonder if I could ask you not to pause so much, and maybe take notes and go back? and to please not pause during Jimin, as you ruin the flow, and he is so unique both voice and dance. You guys are so much fun to watch and listen to. and you know, you can always go back, and re-watch with us later. Believe me, we are here to listen to you guys as well! Really loved watching you enjoy this.

Only Mikro, the film of them dreaming, and solo's ( except Jimin's and RM.) There is a cute clip somewhere of JK and J-hope( Hobie), watching back stage on monitor where JK is told, NO, Jimin is live, and JK is shocked and impressed, it's adorable.)

Jin’s is Danger tho, and Tae’s is No more dream

The thing is that biggest artist like BTS always perform last so they have the longest (it’s like a privilege, not every artist gets this much timing) and the most epic stage. It’s also a way for the award show to keep viewers till the end of the show (many awards do this way cuz u know they want to keep the army who are the majority of viewers. There’re times we had to wait for 5 hours for BTS to perform) and honestly, if there’re still artists perform after such a grand stage, I don’t know how they would feel.

Aegyossal

I really loved your reaction. I hope you guys can watch the "Rise of Bangtan" series as well to get to know more about BTS. ❤️

The reaction is so goooood, you guys are the best reactors out there. Love from India :)))))) Note: How about reacting to each member introduction video then you will know the backstory and work ethic of each one of them and their values

Please react to “The most Beautiful Life Goes on update 2022” by Rice Squad. it’s will answers a lot of your questions. There’s alot music snippets but it’s so short, it won’t ruin your future reactions.

MMA 2016 is really good too, not as epic as this one of course, but still really good!

tokkikoo

love this reaction! would love to see you guys react to MAMA 2019 where they performed some of their old songs

So the crazy backdrop of Mikrokosmos seems to be on the camera side. It's some CGI layered onto the live feed of the show.

It's interesting how you talked about how much stage time they got in 2019 as compared to 2018. The part in Dionysus when they are all just sitting at the table waiting for it to start is such a power move. They just sit there for so long taking up precious award show time cuz they know they can.

SND

No need for Jungkook to dry his hair since the solo performances were all prerecorded. Then Jimin did an additional live stage performance.

icyselena

There only one who dance live during their solo performances was Jimin. https://youtu.be/CZLO-dwgaHA here a link to the actual performances. It shows that they recorded all performances except Jimin. Only he needed to do a wardrobe change. No need for Jungkook to dry off though if he did in that short time that would be epic!

In Dionysus, the very high "sippin", "tippin", "grippin" is Jin. All the otherworldly screams throughout the entire song and the scream at the end are Jin, too. The glissando that starts at a D5 and slides to an F#5 is Jin. Plus some of the low notes (along with Tae) are Jin, also. He is the belting King!

Maeee

yeeee, his voice is so good and so is the video!

Dana

The fan chant depends on each songs (bighit or sometimes army releases fanchant guides for each song performance during comeback live), but the member's full name fanchant is always in the beginning of the song. I can't wait for the MMA 2020 performance reaction!
