Seneca

literally the highlight of my week! 💜 as a 2020 army who hadn't gotten around to BV yet, I am beyond happy to be watching it with you guys! makes it so much more fun 🥰

Mint Wolf

I just want to say how much I enjoy your genuine reactions to BTS. You guys seem like such good people! I love rewatching things that I have already seen with you guys because it makes me feel so happy and excited all over again!

IDEA Girl

Laughter is so precious and so healing. Without going into details the last 5 years of my life have been very challenging. I hadn't smiled or laughed for a long time then I found BTS. Then I began laughing to the depth of my soul. Joy returned to my heart and soul. Ironically, when everything is taken away...you discover you really have everything you need. God helped me realize that. So just so you know ya'll have also provided me with delight and dazzle. So BTS plus CCW has been a great "combo meal" for me! Who knew that people I've never met before have provided me with healthy mental health moments. Just know ...you are well loved. So your discovery of BTS and reacting to them fulfills a greater life purpose you never knew you would accomplish. Isn't life grand? If I was there I would buy you ice cream. Your fav of course!

LSD_02

I laughed so much oh gosh 😂😂😂

Phoedia

ahaha thank u 🫰🏻

Bertha Tillman

Jimin is super generous he’s always thinking of the other members. They all take good care of each other, but jimin is just always in it lol.

Keyz J.

In the soop is more vacation\relaxed style without the games and being able to sleep in and do whatever they want.

Elhana Bamr

Yeah rm ever said it too, Jimin always think about others first

LSD_02

I recognized that high school musical song :) what a throw back

IDEA Girl

37:21 The answer to your question was in the subtitles. They spent the whole afternoon til dinner time at the observatory.

corinne

you guys seem to underestimate everyone else's english like assuming yoongi didn't understand what he was ordering but actually they all have basic understanding of english and can communicate. a non-english speaker learning english is different from english speakers learning another language (as in they're surrounded by more people who speak english than we're surrounded by people who speak korean so they're able to pick up more stuff than we are). just wanted to let you know so that in future episodes or series when you come across them speaking english you would know that they actually understand more than you guys think they do, and that just because they might have a "korean" accent or don't have the same "american" accent as namjoon doesn't mean they can't understand or even communicate :) and as for your voice changing when speaking different languages, it has something to do with how letters are pronounced in each language and therefore where your tongue is placed, how your vocal cords vibrate, etc like i'm filipino and i'd say tagalog (my language) is more nasal than english so although i don't have a filipino accent when speaking english, i do still sound different because of how words flow in tagalog vs english. –spoken by a major in linguistics lol

Omg Abigail I knew right away that it was HSM!!

2026-09-18 06:00 Good question about their vacations. In their 10 years. I think they got 3 real vacations. That's a guess. But I know they had very few. Christmas with family. I think maybe 3 times. They begged to go home Christmas during the first year of covid. They didn't let them go. Birthdays with family. As far as I know. Zero. They do vlives on their Birthdays sitting alone on a computer. Sometimes one of the members will come by and bring a cake. Or they had cake during the day in the middle of their busy schedule. I remember one time Jin waited up late on his Vlive, but no one came to see him. And no one texted him. He started calling the guys but no one came. In fact he called Suga to come see him and Suga said ..quit being a baby. It really hurt Jin's feelings so he called RM to get some comfort. I boohooed. No family or friends contacted him. He said I have no friends. And it was true. Being in BTS they are so isolated. Millions adore him, but he has no time for any personal relationships. They can't even date. None of them have any female friends. The female staff around them are required to be married so as to NOT flirt with the guys. When covid hit and they had free time, they had no idea what to do or how to be normal. Most of them got very depressed. So very sad to me.

2026-09-18 06:00 So here is another thing to think about. It's Festa time. They will be celebrating 10 years together. On any other job...celebrating 10 years is special. But to BTS it represents working every day of the week. Working more than 8 hours a day. Many times they work all night when filming a MV. So mostly they put in 12 hours a day. So really they have put in 20 years of work in 10 years. Non stop work. The vacations they take together and film. Summer is right. They are still working. Being filmed almost 24 x 7. In fact...my opinion the filming is very intrusive when they film them going to bed.and in bed. Then they wake up with cameras in their faces. They are never off camera...ever! They are on a vacation structured schedule. They have to do what they are told. That's why when V was lost...he loved it. Freedom. Except yes, a cameraman was with him. Finally, this last Festa they announced they were taking a break. A break from a rigorous schedule. However, they didn't know how to slow down. They all have worked feverishly on their own solo projects. JHope said preparing for Lollapalooza almost killed him. He didn't eat. Couldn't sleep. Luckily, Jimin showed up and made him eat and sleep. Otherwise I really think JHope would have keeled over at his concert. There is a Behind the Scenes of Jimin preparing for filming Set Me Free and Like Crazy. He would come to dance rehearsal without eating and at the end of the all day dance practice he could hardly walk. In fact, he collapsed by a wall and said he was on zero. He couldn't sleep either. One good thing about their Military service...they get away from BTS and all the busyness. It's a different kind of busyness. But the right kind. Enough to restore their body and mind and soul. Jin had gotten down to 120 lbs. He now weighs a healthy 147. He finally looks good and muscular. Their hard work did pay off. They are all multi Millionaires. They all own many shares of stock in the company. Many famous companies are picking them to endorse their products. So more money coming in. They Never have to work again. But they ALL have vowed to come back after military service and continue on working non stop to be BTS again!

it’s crazy how they accomplished most of the things they said they wanted to

Randi

im watching In the Soop for the first time and its deff more relaxed than BV, but they're both a lot of fun to watch.

Azhin Hassan

This is very exaggerated. They weren’t not «allowed» to go home during christmas and different celeboratory occasions, they were working and their jobs are very demanding and they get that and are willing to do the work. It’s sad that they missed so many big occasions with their families, but they are grown adults who have a say in their schedueles and work especially in the more recent years. It’s not like they were being forced to do these things. And they do spend time with family on their birthdays, they just don’t talk about it cause they are really private and it’s none of our business. Also they’re grown men, not all of them want to make a big deal out of their birthdays and celebrate. I’m sure if they were really serious about it they would tell each other and do something together. Like Jimin and Suga don’t really like celebrating their birthdays and that is fine. Jin saying he has no friends is obviously a joke, he has said that several times. And of course family and friends would have congratulated him. How do you know they didn’t? He said that because he wanted the members to congratulate him as soon as the clock turned 00.00. But not all of them did and Jin just said that as a joke. I’m sure they all congratulated him as the day went on. And they come on vlive for us fans, because they know it makes us happy. You make it sound like they’re kids being forced into things they don’t want. I’m sure there has been times when they would rather not work, and haven’t we all? Just cause their jobs seems cool and extraordinary doesn’t mean they can’t have days were they just wanna stay at home and do nothing. Also they absolutely can date, just not openly and I understand why. Some fans are crazy and would go mental. I’m 100% sure all of them have dated at some point and might be in relationships right now even. They’re obviously not gonna come online and tell everyone about it, as it’s their private life and we have no business knowing that stuff. We follow them for their music and amazing and fun personalities and as fans we should support them and follow them on their journey. They know what’s best for them and their life. That’s it. Don’t assume things and say stuff you have no idea about. These stories you’ve made up in your mind are very weird and twisted. Also covid affected everyone in different ways and they were upset because concerts were being cancelled left and right and they couldn’t perform and see army, of course that’s gonna effect them negatively.

Dani

💜

Lyz

Thank you! I loved this reaction! Can't wait for ep 04! =)

JCARMY

I know they had a long break just before they did Bon Voyage 4 but even then they Vlogged some of their activities. They also had a break after the PTD concerts in LA. Some of the guys went back to Korea, but some of them stayed in America. Jhope and Tae actually went back to Hawaii with their family during that time.

Annina Ninana

Lol quite the fanfic you concocted there. Maybe dont see bts members as helpless victims? What the fans see is NOT the totality of their lifes, its just a small part of it they CHOSE themselves to put online and show us armys. Bts are grown adults who have been doing this job for over a decade, give them the credit they deserve! They know what they're doing and their boundaries. They've even spoken openly how they feel about their personas and their jobs on multiple different times in their lifes and even when they seem to or admit to be struggling they are always careful to emphasize how grateful and happy they are to be doing what they're doing in the positions they're in and i find it a little bit disrespectful that you as a fan would disregard their own words like that. Also any conflict members might have had with each other over time is between them even if they themself brought it up (which they only do when its already resolved) so why would you bring that up just to build on your narrative that bts are unhappy and have no control over their lifes?

Anna Marie Aguirre

Yes, Abby. I did recognize the song. Don't worry about it. :D

genevieve higuera

I love the way the managers of Hybe use friendly competition for beds, spending money, etc. As a mom of three boys(and our house was the hangout) I know how competitive and full of testosterone guys that age are. They make natural competitiveness fun. I love that Big Hit gives them comfortable accommodations but no limos, or 5⭐ hotels, room service etc. The boys budget, grocery shop, and cook meals together , creating a beautiful bonding experience. Also I know BTS would be humble anyway cuz that is who they are. But I feel Bang PD has a good understanding of them and does his part to guide them and keep them humble. Their sincerity and humbleness is what I love 💜 most about BTS.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Paula

whew ... so many assumptions in your comment and so many situations put out of context!!! How can any of us know if they have female friends or not? How can we know if they've ever dated? We always find out later on about instances where the members celebrated birthdays or other events with their families and/or each other. They don't share every single moment of their lives with us and they shouldn't have to, but the bits that they do share (just because they are only BTS and/or Army related) do not give us the right to assume that they don't have any kind of life outside of BTS.

Daniela

Jimin was SO CUTE when ordering in English 🥰

Gabija A.

Oh Summer described a traditional Lithuanian dish called ''balandeliai'' which as she said is grounded meat wrapped in cabbage and you can have it with other boiled vegetables. I never thought anyone would know it outside of Eastern Europe! Highly recommend!!!

Gabija A.

I always viewed Bon Voyage as a sort of job vacation thing for them since they get to explore and learn but still have to create content to share with us. I'd say their other show ''In the Soop'' is the one that's more vacation like because even though they're being filmed they have more freedom to do what they want and chill.

el

you really do seem to love to create your own narrative and believe your assumptions are true. they have shared with us countless of times stories of their vacations when they did not film, stories that have nothing to do with their work as bts, and also they have said they are comfortable enough with cameras. But most importantly what they share with us IS NOT EVERYTHING, they have a life outside of bts, they have other friends apart from the bts members that they have mentioned and probably they have many more that they have not, stop seeing them as this helpless creatures, they have said they are the ones who push themselves mostly, start viewing them as humans and not as characters to fulfill the weird narrative you have created in your head.

Rasha

Actually BTS members never spent the holidays with their families before 2021 when they took a month off. They said they go home once a year, usually in January, other than that, their families travel to spend some time with them.

essi

they understand more english than i think you realise. they are just less confident with the speaking

Yeontan™️

what a whack ass take in terms of what bts wants us to see and what is „private“. also them sharing their hardships and struggles is not the „omg they are suffering under hybe/ they are overworked“ thing you think it is. if after almost 10 years you still don’t trust the members that they reveal and show how hard they worked to achieve goals (like lollapalooza or solo debuts) then you don’t know a damn thing. hate to break it to you. im not delusional to think that everything on camera is them being 1000% into it and them being perfectly happy or what else but like??there are major cuts in the episodes.. and its so clear that every night after they played games to determine who sleeps where or what prize money the got or whatever they had time off camera to chill and swim and do whatever they wanted. BV is obviously a paid show and they are on camera but its kinda weird of you to think they were feeling pressured to.. what exactly? go out to eat? surf? snorkel? go on a helicopter ride? go on friendship tours? please get it together. they wouldn’t do that for 4 seasons if they wouldn’t enjoy it like that and making military service seem like a good thing?? „they get away from bts and all the busyness“ „the right kind“ „restore their body and mind and soul“ .. you cant be serious. like I’d advice you to delete this comment as a whole just for this disrespectful part. military service is not some chill camp where they get to hang out for 2 years?? north and south korea are at a difficult war climate where the SK government feels it’s necessary to send every able bodied korean man to military training and u think its shits n giggles for the members?? that they can relax?? after they expressed several times during and after the pandemic how much they missed performing in front of ARMY and how much it means to them. and now u are trying to twist military service of all things into something POSITIVE for them as a group when it comes to restoring their health??? that just pissed me off so bad like .. are you even realizing what you’re saying… please check your opinions on these grown men as a mere fan and realize that victimizing them is the most obnoxious and hurtful thing ever.. after they tried hard to talk to armys about their struggles and goals. paid content is work, yes. but making it seem like they are trapped and want out of the spotlight is kinda your own take that you want to project. trust bts and not your savior complex

Yeontan™️

elonda hipkins.. honey.. please get it together … victimizing the guys like that? shading the members (suga for example as if he doesn’t care about jin or his feelings) you don’t know them. personally or at all really. they show what they want us to see. u seriously think a group that lasted over 10 years who got friendship tattoos is being mean and hurtful on each others bdays? pls go outside touch some grass.. spend time with your friends…. stop projecting and enjoy bts content for what it is bc as A FAN you donttt have any say in their private life or what they choose to share. kindly. go outside

Carole

I love your reactions! Thank you for all you do! Your videos make me smile!

Azhin Hassan

Girl shut the hell up. You’re literally so annoying with all this made up bs😭😭💀💀I didn’t know people like you actually existed, but here you are spewing nonesense and thinking you know what’s best for them as if you know them. None of us know them, but unlike you we have some common sense and actually use it. They all have a really strong work ethic and put their all into their work, but that’s on them. They want to do that so they can put on the best shows and content. They never halfass anything. Why are you saying it as if they are forced to do all that?? Seems like you want them to stop doing group activities and apparently know better than the guys what they want🙄 If you’re so unhappy about how they do stuff then get out! No one is forcing you to follow them.

justsarah

I think I'm just the right age group - i loved high school musical as a teenager and I watched out of the box as a kid!

Lisa M T

You have no idea who their friends are in their personal lives. I'm sure their dating lives are a strictly guarded secret.

Ruth Miranda

I think season 3 and 4 are more vacation like. They still have activities they do, and a budget on some but it's not as strict and they get to choose what they want as time goes on. I think they made these first 2 season the way they did to make it funny and more content. I can't wait till season 3 and 4. Those are my favorite seasons of Bonvoyage. In the Soop too. Those are really laid back. They literally just chill and relax, which is awesome to see. 💜 Love you guys! I always love y'alls reactions and I can't wait to see more! 💜

Jeonstastic

Their most recent show “In the Soop” could be considered a real vacation for them. They relaxed a lot during it. But yeah back in the day they were always on go mode unfortunately

Lane. L.

Wait, I can't help but comment here. Question. Are you an ARMY? With all the negative things you are saying here, I don't think so. BTS had a dream and continues to have one, this time longevity. For themselves and for ARMY. They have sacrificed a lot because 1, they love what they do; and 2, they love ARMY. For us who have been here for a long time now (some ARMYs will be celebrating their 10 years too!) and even those who joined in later or recently support them wholeheartedly because we see that they truly love their art and are genuine and amazing people too. If what you are saying is true that it was really bad for them, i dont think BTS will be the BTS that we know now. They would have quit years ago. But they persisted and thus, ARMY.

Bora

I think at this point bts have more power than their own company. They can do as they want

Lindsay Leonard

I had the same thought as Abby did when they didn’t know High School Musical.

DzulGM

I had the same face as Abby did, when the rest of the CCW members didn’t recognized HSM song!!! 😨😨 Abby you’re not alone 😉💜

May N.

About Jin's cabbage what I've understood, he bought it because his money isn't enough just cabbage so they can just chew them or at least they will have something to chew. :) hehe

Ekkyla

oh poor Abby 😂😂 hey maybe HSM is a funny idea for *blank*day with the wives" 😂😂

Desiree Mensah

My friend said that audible has helped her read more, Abby.

Armystic

Poor jungkook always forced into being the Guinea pig who has to go first 😂 he knows his bros will take care of him anyway

Armystic

In the soop is such a blissful and heartwarming experience bc for me… it’s where they got to relax, sleep in if they want and just hangout and enjoy whatever they wanted to do individually or together… and of course eat together… but it’s one of the only real kinda vacations that we get to see.

mo0njelly

What is your agenda? I know they banned you at parties and gatherings 😭

mo0njelly

Like damnnnnn just let them enjoy the reactions 😂 stop raining on the parade with false narratives and assumptions.

Melissa Guilbe

Loved them ordering food they are so funny, and precious Jimin he is just too cute, Thank you guys for reacting to BV, i love your dynamics please don’t ever change i always laugh out loud LOUDLY watching your reactions lol, and to abby I understand you HSM was and will always be well so good!!!☺️☺️🥰🥰

Gabriela Viviano

The guys are very private about their personal time but sometimes they share some stuff with us about vacations, such as telling us they do have traveled together with no cameras many times, even visiting each other family´s houses. Oficially they got 3 long time breaks since 2018 if I´m not mistaken, this last one being the longest one (for obvious reasons)

Gabriela Viviano

Bon Voyage 3-4 and In The Soop are more like relaxing type of content, the boys just do whatever they want hahah. I really enjoy every season and it´s very cool to see it this time with you guys! (pd: sorry for any mistakes i´m not an english speaker but I try my best heh)

Jay

In the Soop will show you more relaxed and laidback BTS vacation content.

Jéssica Molinari

ABI, WE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER hahahahaaa I love to see bon voyage, actually when I saw you guys would watch it on patron, I started to think to become one because I need to see you watching it!

Carla Rivera

It's funny how Daniel knew the capital of North Korea and the rest was just surprised 😂 I knew that too but thanks to k-dramas 😅

Amy Botello

Summer's laugh is SOOO contagious! When she laughed at the part when Jimin said, "She picked the most expensive thing," I about died with her!

Scarle Matos

The members do go on vacation where it’s just them doing whatever they want the best example for it, it’s bts in the soop which translates to bts in the forest. I totally recommend it it’s one of my favorite shows from them and it just shows the members in their healing time.

Auclaire D'Lune

dont worry abby, WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!! 💜💜💜

Ruth

tbh i was surprised when knowing daniel’s the only one who knows it, cuz i learned that in school so i thought it’s just a basic knowledge 😂 guess students in my country are really forced to memorize capital cities

Cinta

Not Abby having an instant flashback to their first ever reaction when Gabriel commented about High School Musical and 16yr old girls. lol

Anna Wright

Don't worry Abby I love High School Musical. My cousin and I would play and renact scenes as Troy and Gabriella when the movies came out.

Anny_ lokah

suga has a really good english

isaro patience

I am FULLY convinced Suga has been playing us all! I know for a fact that man understands English and can speak it better than we realize but because he’s shy and lowkey he just doesn’t really show it. Probably how he won me over!! Stole from Jin and is now my Ult Bias…. But OT7 till I die! I also think Jin understands more English and just couldn’t speak it as well back then. These are all based on past events though! I know they’re all collectively SO MUCH BETTER at it!
