Hi Primos!

Well for some reason Youtube decided to block this JIN video so we had to doctor it up a bit. Here is the CLEAN version for your viewing pleasure : )

PS - What a masterpiece!

Angel

Awake is part of the BU, so the lyrics are part of a bigger storyline, but Jin makes it his own in every way, he's so talented and amazing at what he does, the emotion and range in his voice is INSANE

Lilian

one of my fav songs

Saru Dangol

It's soo soothing to hear his voice😭💜💜

TSO 아포방포

Doolset: Six flowers likely represent the other six members of BTS. Although he knows he might not be able to fly “like those flower petals,” he keeps trying and bettering himself with the faith in the other members.

Portia Morz

finally a jin video!!! thank you for this ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Denise

His voice has this soothing quality to it that I love. And his acting background gets some work in his live performances for sure.

Maya

Aaw finally awake...ultimate fave Jin song :) thank you ccw

Melissa Barnes

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I've been waiting for this and was so excited when I saw it on the schedule. This is my favorite Jin song (along with Astronaut)!! Its just so beautiful and his voice is so suited for it. Absolutely love it!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Lilian

I also love spreadsheets haha

Ce

This song always gets on my feelings… those emoji’s tears were mine. Thank you guys for giving love to our kind, funny and beautiful KIM SEOKJIN <3

Sammy S

Jin didn’t have the chance to record an album since he had to go to the military but he did release Astronaut as a “see you later, army” gift. I think we will get an album once he completes his military duty.

LaLaJin

Awake is so beautiful..thanks for your reaction

Dani

When I saw this live everyone around me was crying. He has so much talent

Teenie

This was, if i remember correctly, filmed the first or second night of their tour and he was killing it but the difference with the last concert of the tour is immense, Jin's voice and talent skyrocketed during that world tour, it was a huge turning point for him and I love that it was reflected in that song. i think it was Jimin that pointed out how Jin leveled up the most in that time.

Charlie

Jin is such a great performer that he doesn’t need complicated choreo or backup dancers to fill the stage. His vocals and facial expressions are captivating already.

Minnie Me

I work in Financial Services and I totally relate to the feeling stressed because of the music I’m listening to 😂 When the music starts to escalate so your heart rate and stress levels escalate too 😭

LoriG

Jin’s vocals are amazing!!🥰He is literally World Wide Everything! 💜

TheRealCindyN

Jin's vocals are so pure & heavenly I still cry when I hear this song. Live version is exceptional. Looking forward to the day Seokjin returns to ARMY. 💜👏💜

riizeingshine

my bias is yoongi but everytime there are solos in album, jin's song is always my fav

Nadine~~

I wanna cryyy 😭

Nadine~~

Miss jin so much :'(

LoriG

Jin received a standing ovation and clapping for Awake here which is unusual at a concert. This is a great sign of respect for such artistic beauty in song. 💜

Mockingirl

I miss Jin so much. His vocals, his personality, his laugh. I’m ready for him to come home.

Catarina

10:38 Gabriel's "YAS!" lol

Min Jiyoon

Same jin's solo songs are my favorite hope they react soon to abyss and yours 💜

yoonmin

black swan orchestra 🤌🏻

Jennifer Garcia

love awake, I couldn't stop listening to it after I became army it was literally that song for me. Also YESSSS the HTTYD soundtrack is GOLD

Cycology SPIN and MORE

You guys have to watch yourself watching this!!!! That's the longest I think y'all went without talking! You looked transfixed! I know we have the Jimin effect on people....but what IS IT about our SeokJin that is so mesmerizing and enchanting!? I adore him!!!

Kat

Finally a Jin song I am aliveeee! I miss him sm :(

LeJINdary TexasBeauty

This is my all time favorite Jin song 🥹😇😇😇😇 I listen to this on repeat during my chemo . The emotion Jin brings out in every song is special .

Tracie

Jin is my fav vocalist.. the way he's able to take me on an emotional rollercoaster is crazy

Min Jiyoon

Awake is such an emotional song. The lyrics tells the insecurities he had. He thought he can't never fly like the other flower petals from 6 flowers (6members who are good in their field). He always thinks that he's a burden to the group because of how slow he memorized dances and lyrics. We all know that jin didn't have anything from the beginning he worked hard for what he had right now, he needed to practice and adopt twice as much as the other members. He kept bettering himself and had he had faith with his members. Every time I see videos of jin saying sorry for being a burden makes my heart hurt, thank God V is always there to say he's not a burden 🥺

Lisa M T

I love this song.

TemTem

I Love this Song so much. Definitely in my Top 5 Favorite BTS songs of all Time. I Love Seokjinnie’s voice so much. He really is the King of Ballads. I miss him 🥹💜

Ana Luísa Cordeiro Santos

It would be awesome if you react to a full concert of them! There are tons to find to react pleeease 🥹

Ruzi

One of my favorite performances. Such an emotional song..🫶🏼 you should definitely react to Blue and Grey + Black Swan Orchestra live. This one is incredible too

Angel

He said the burden thing because he was injured and had surgery, all of the members continuously reassure him that he is integral to the group and their success.

DanielleM

This is the first BTS song that made me cry!!😭

Angel

I wish they had linked you to jins performance at the wings tour sydney 2017, the production there was A-MAZING~

Lisa M T

Full concerts and even single songs in concerts often get blocked in the United States. Don't risk a copyright strike CCW!!

Lisa M T

Often full concert reactions get blocked in the US.

Chris Drady

I still remember seeing him do this live at the Wings concert in Sydney. It moved me so much I cried like a baby. His vocals just make you feel ALL the feels. Love this song.

Ali

HTTYD soundtrack is AMAZING!

Ali

Jin’s ability to convey so much emotion through his voice is the thing that drew me to his solo songs at first. Combining that with an impressive stability and a clean tone makes him stand out so much in ballads.

BZ

Oh my god goosebumps each time!! You picked the perfect live clip! Love it so much and I agree, this has such a cinematic feel. Thank you for the reaction CCW

nadege sauveur

Me crying that whole time because I am remembering being at the Chicago concert of wings.

Weng

So beautiful 💜…. thank you for reacting on this CCW☺️

Andra Norton

OMG, my tearfest continues! lol I don't know why but every time I see live performances of Jin, Hobi, or Yoongi, I just tear up like crazy lately. But I absolutely love this song! And I love love love seeing Jin perform it! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Min Jiyoon

There's a lot of instances where he felt and said he was a burden, not only during PTD. You can check it out on YT if you haven't seen those 😊 Even when they haven't debuted yet, he said a lot of time where he practiced so hard, the members even said they heard jin talking about dancing when he was sleeping. That's how hard he worked.

emx

I'm glad you guys reacted to this one... Awake got me (and many others too I'm sure) through hard times. And it has a super beautiful, captivating yet simple stage.

Ashleyder

So ... Awake remains one of if not my favorite Jin song ever. But ... it always leaves my heart aching a bit. And this particular performance he really tugged at the heartstrings!

Charlie

If you think Jin using his full chest voice to hit C5 is crazy, then you need to watch a short clip from ‘Kim Seokjin, the king of high notes’. He was singing karaoke (awake) with Jimin and playfully raised the key, and he also sang with his full chest voice but hitting F#5 instead. Now THAT is really crazy!

Lane. L.

BTS has long since stopped being the "KPop" that is known. They still fell to that category because they are Koreans. Which is why ARMYs are stupefied by Grammy's not giving them what they deserve. Anyway, Daniel mentioned a playlist. You can't just have one for BTS. That's why I have come to realize that BTS music is the OST of my life. They have a song that fits certain parts of my life so far. There's definitely more of this mellow type from the vocal line. Do listen to those some time. 💜

Sakura

He insane, I got goosebumps everywhere.

Alwena Willis

Coming home to Australia from my trip to South Korea to one of my favourite Jin’s song is amazing! He is my bias for many reasons but mainly because he is by far the one that can portray such emotion in his singing that it can make us weep , be happy or laugh (Super tuna). He is the only member to receive a standing ovation from an audience and clapping, high honours and can make grown male reviewers weep! His personality always brings a smile to your face if not barrels of laughter. His intelligence amazes you in Run BTS which his win rate is nearly 60% compared to the rest of the members combined 40%. His creativity astounds you like it does many professionals whether it is in gaming out writing story books or dare I say fashion. His emotional intelligence is near perfect as is his manners and graciousness. Notice I have not even mentioned his looks and already he is nearly perfect! My only regret is all three of my daughters are married so I have lucked out on having him as my son in law. In saying that though South Korea has claimed him as the ‘Nations son in law’ and also the ‘manner idol’. Yet with all this he is probably the most underrated in the group but I think one day he will shine brighter than anyone just because of who he is humble, honest and kind and so talented. I thank you for appreciating him, looking forward to the next couple of videos. 💜💜💜💜

Abbstract

Oh yes, they said he was saying sorry in his sleep… 😭😭😭 They felt so bad for him. They said right then they knew he was always feeling anxious and wanted to just get better with his performances.

Min Jiyoon

Yes that one. But comparing jin to other kpop idol who are "not dancer", jin always gives more than 100% of what he got. He's not relying on being famous. We can't see him lacking on stage because he always try his best to have the same phase with the other members 🥺 I envy the passion and their work ethics so much 🥺

Dayi BV

Wings album is so beautiful. All members were amazing with their solo songs

DanielleM

I need a Jin album!!😭

Sue RN

Seeing all of these comments from ARMY that saw this live during the Wings tour has me feeling so emotional. I wasn’t ARMY back then and I am super sad about how much I missed. 😭 I know, I know…Bangtan finds you when you need them, which is very true for me. Still, it’s difficult seeing these amazing performances and desperately wishing I could’ve been there to see them live. 😩 I’m thankful I’m here now and that I got to see PTD in LA & Vegas as well as seeing Yoongi in Chicago…so I won’t cry too much. 😊 💜

Minh

Two out of three for me seeing Agust D and BTS in LA but missed out on Vegas but like Yoongi said to JK in Suchwita when JK felt he was wasn’t good enough talent wise and he told JK stop wanting more🤣. It’s in comparison to us wanting to know BTS from the start and be able to attend all their earlier years concerts ❤️

smilehoyaaaaaa💜

You guys are so funny 😂💜 I LOOOOOOOVVVEEEEEE Awake so much, Jin's voice never cease to amaze me🥺

Sakura

Yeah, on YouTube

Lisa M T

Yeah some of us have never seen them live despite trying to get tickets...

Danielle

Hé has another I love called ‘Tonight’ he wrote it about his pets he lost his dog and sugarglider. He had the sugarglider with him in the dorm when they moved out of that small one bedroom apartment. His dog died of old age he had it for a number of years before he joined BTS. It’s a song that you can feel especially if you’ve lost a pet. He also recorded a cover song called ‘ Autumn at the Post Office.’ It’s a popular Korean Ballad. It would nice if you could check these out.

Sakura

Nini voice is just so beautiful. He got talent in him to begin with. He just doesn't know it. Just a bit insecurities and lack of confidence.

Alwena Willis

Autumn outside the post office one of my favourites! 💜

mandharakha

i recommend “crystal snow” for jin birthday week, actually thats ot7 songs, but jin falsettos CRAZYYYYY🤌🏻👨🏻‍🍳 the songs is one of my top 5 bts songs and my ultimate biases are the rap line🥰 trust me you guys gonna love that

Min Jiyoon

Yes, hope they react soon to "Tonight" because it's so beautiful 🥺 the lyrics and the vibe of the music makes me feel emotional everytime. He loves jjangu, eomuk and odeng so much 🥺

btsarmy 🥰💜💜

I really love you guys. Can you guys react to 4 o'clock by v and rm please

Nura

Love you guys! Jin's voice is just amazingggg Pleasee react to ABYSS by Jin. There's such a story behind that song and you can just feel all his emotions.
