2026-09-18 06:00 RM actually learn english before bts lots of people forget but he ranked in the 1.3 percent of the whole korean nations for his exams his IQ is much higher than the average he is really smart his way of learning english is watching over and over friends with subtitles without subtitles with subtitles again not everyone can do this and learn english as quickly also if you look at the statistics people who are generally smarter in terms of IQ biologically, they can also be very clumsy since their brain some parts is not wired enough lol which explains why he is just so so clumsy and forgetful in everyday life I know someone who was a gifted child it took him 7 years to learn to tie his shoelace I know it sounds so odd and weird but he excel in his math and studies but it is hard for him to do simple tasks but that is just him there is also people who are much better at this but are just clumsy

Nadine~~

Let's goooooo

Angela Maria Fernandez

I really want that you react to "Rookie King" of BTS, literally is the first show that hey did, in their debut, is so funny, It has many games, challenges, jokes, they were so young

Rasha

Youngi wanted to be an architect at some point so he knows a bunch of stuff regarding home design

Sengheangsr

About RM talked, three minute...three year of work, I think it's his second solo album, MONO.

Sofía Hernández

Great video guys :D That bit that you didn't get, when Namjoon was nervous and he was saying that he had 3 minutes left, was when he released his second mixtape (or playlist, as he called it) mono. in 2018

Sofía Hernández

Oh and in the episode, we hear snippets of the songs "Tokyo" and "Uhgood" :)

Sakura

Fun fact on UN general assembly Jin create a buzz among knetizen. He didn't say anything but stole the attention, general public nickname Jin a UNGA guy. He was trending that day because of how handsome he was lol.

K

rm also studied in New Zeeland for a couple of months when he was younger.

DaniiTH

someone knows what RMs song was playing at the end?

Kristi Butler

Loved the reaction. This is my favorite episode of Bring the Soul! I would love to see you guys react to the UN speech and the behind the scenes episode, I think you all would really enjoy💜

Lai

I love this episode and i loved the reaction! Thank you!

FZA

Uhgood from his Mono album

YehYeh

When he said, "It's up.", he was referring to MONO dropping. Also, I was at that CitiField concert! It still makes me emotional thinking about it. It was my first in-person BTS concert. Now, I've been to about 10. Can't wait for the next. Also, it has been confirmed that Tete has now been assigned to his SDT station. Woot! I hope the members stay safe and complete the MS successfully! Until we see them all together again in all their more distinct colors in 2025.... 💜

JCARMY

Army knows the term wainscotting because of a later episode of Run BTS. 😉

Seneca

You guys would love their Behind the Scenes youtube video for the UN Speech! (~20 mins). And you guys were spot on– the guys were basically fanboying over Namjoon the whole time 😂 And Joon was like "you guys understood some stuff right?" and they were like ".... we understood ur emotions for sure" lool

LoriG

Thank you guys so much!! You are appreciated!!💜💜💜💜

kayla

thank you for all your hard work!! we appreciate you so much 💜💜💜

Laira

The moment Joon was visibly nervous while sitting on the couch, he uploaded mono. he released this playlist without any kind of promotion except for one twitter post. Tokyo was also played towards the end and was also mixed during tour. You should listen to mono, it’s an exceptional album.

Lainee Fenton

Just jumping waaay ahead 😂 I cannot wait for Summer to see a particular Run BTS episode that brings back the wainscoting :) great ep yet again team!

Ceejayhey

I feel like the stars aligned and those seven men were destined to become BTS. Joon’s UN speech always gives me chills, no matter how many times I’ve heard it. I hope you’re able to hear the full version some day. The notebook is a great idea, Summer! And the Kbbq 😉 Yoongi and his wainscoting and love of light fixtures is such a random detail about him that is just so dear to me. 🥲 Jimin’s father is a bit of a celebrity amongst many ARMY as well. 😆 He is an amazing human and father and never fails to send his son flowers on special occasions. He owns Magnate, a cafe in Busan (which I believe now has a sister location in Japan?), that also sells merch inspired by his son and where he displays a collection of iconic hats from Jimin (and one or two from Jungkook). He also allows ARMY to display gifts/notes, etc. for BTS in the café. When lines are long outside the cafe, he’s been found passing out drinks or little goodies, signing autographs ppl ask for, and thanking people personally for their patronage. He’s humble and thoughtful and genuinely so kind, just like Jimin is. I am fortunate enough to own a few merch items from Magnate and an autograph from Papa Park himself, thanks to a friend of mine who visited last year.

Seneca

Sometimes I'm like, wow I can't wait for CCW to get to that specific episode, they'd love it! .... then I'm like, let's be real. I can't wait for them to see all the episodes 🤣

Katja S.

If you get goosebumps you had to watch the whole speech some day. I hope you will react to it and the behind the scenes. It' s so interesting to see the preparations and thoughts the members had.

Anna Marie Aguirre

Once you get to one of their more recent RUN BTS episodes, you will encounter wainscoting again :D

Lainee Fenton

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one thinking that 😂 I'll remember this episode when we get there lol.

Shreya

so that thing about uploading in 5 minutes with rm it was the release of his 2nd mistake and you saw him recording earlier in the studio right ?that was for the same thing so he had an interview but it was when he was releasing his mixtape so he said its a very private moment to share and in the next scene it was his song from mixtape playing

xchosenz

when abigail said jin at 27:47 i cringed so hard idk why lmaoo

Shreya

lmao wainscoating youll learn more about suga and waincoating in run bts dontworry

Laira

Spot on with RM’s journey with English. Yoongi said he wore shoes with Velcro, because he learned how to tie his shoes while being a trainee. But I have to confess I am not the biggest fan of „RM is so clumsy“ narrative, yes he used to be when he was younger, but this man lives in a museum with art being worth more than hundreds of thousands of dollars (so he cannot be this clumsy) and he excelled in aerial yoga for example, and he said that he is tired of being thought of as clumsy.

danybaby

my concert🥺

>>128434185

I'm sure it's because of all the drama that comes from polls and people fighting each other in the comments.

Sugareul

Loved the reaction ccw!

JengHoseok

Jimin's dad has a cafe in Busan, called Magnate. Jin and his brother has a restaurant in Seoul. Planning to go there in June.

TemTem

Lovely reaction as always Guys! Just wanted to mention (although I’m sure others already have), the Namjoon part y’all were a bit confused by was him releasing his 2nd mixtape “Mono”. Most of the songs played at the background in this episode & the one he went to that house to record, are all songs from Mono. Can’t wait for you to listen to Mono in its entirety. One of my top “comfort albums” for sure 💜

Shamya✨

Hope you guys get to watch the whole U.N. speech ❤️

Isa

Watching the entire UN speech one day will change your lives. It changed mine. Did a whole ARMY project because of it with UNICEF afterwards. Truly inspiring. Live-changing.

Yellow

About the part where namjoon was nervous and was saying 3 more minutes, was about his mixtape. He released mono right there😭 and thank god he did. Still till this day it is my favourite album, my comfort album.

Sara Pak

Guys PLEASE PLEASE watch shiki live on youtube. He was tallking about you guys and other reactors that i don't like and i was surprised that you guys were in there😅 i told you guys before i have never joined someone in patreon but only you CCW because i really liked your reactions and felt that you genuinely love BTS. PLEASE watch his live or see what he will tell you guys in twiter. I really hope consider some of his words

Yasmine SB

That second mixtape of RM is a true masterpiece in all terms... "Mono" is one of all time favorite work of art and philosophy.

Jordyn

RM released his mixtape mono (which you saw him working on). It's a masterpiece & I can't wait for you to check it out!

Teenie

When I see that clip of Jimin and Hobi talking about how lonely it would be to tour alone I think of Suga doing just that last year

Laurynn Coleman

Yayy! I love watching this with you guys. I know it’s every week but I still get excited. Thanks!! 😊

Anija

Link to the video please?

Nira

I love Shiki, and actually he is right. But for me, I don't mind supporting CCW, even there are a few reactions which I don't completely like

Laurynn Coleman

I’m also trying to comment more to share my appreciation for you guys. I’m definitely antisocial and this can be overstimulating but I’m going to try!

🍭

You're so right about how impressive it is that RM knows technical terms in English. Like Gabriel, my Spanish is all conversational (I have difficulty writing it since I didn't learn the grammatical rules like I did with English sinc I'm first gen and have been put in regular English classrooms since kinder) and I can't imagine having the grasp of both languages like he has (and in a professional setting at that!). Everyday I'm learning new vocabulary from exposing myself to more Spanish-language media and asking my parents when I encounter a new word.

Nira

I think there is no video as it was live. I only saw his comments on Twitter/X

HOUSE HUSBAND

Jungkook said he was looking at RM at the back and his image was magnified into a large person to look up to. He is so proud of his idol.

Tiffany

It’s called Uhgood from Mono album

Emmy

Personally, RM's UN speech isn't even his best speech. To me, the speeches he gave during concerts touched me more. Intimate connections between him and ARMYs. In his UN speech, he made a lot of expected statements about self-love, but when he speaks during shows, it's like the words naturally flow from him. It's more impactful. Like his "Music transcends languages, countries, and looks" speech. No other artist is talking like that rn. Don't misunderstand, I am very proud of their achievement (UN).

Mindy Rodriguez

Some of the music in the backyard is RM's MONO mixtape. It is a Masterpiece in my opinion the depth he went into creating the sound and lyrics for this Album 🤌🤌💜💜

Tony S

Can't wait until tomorrow! ☺

DaniiTH

Thank u. 😊

lis

Same. I was so happy to see how close he was with his band and that he had them though

Kimberly

How do we watch what he said then? 👀

BZ

Love watching these series with you guys! You always catch something I have missed 💜 thank youuuu!

Chiii<3

Why though? It was really cute

findingfortythree

Poll's comments are off. Would you also watch the summer and winter specials? Uh oh is there a summer special. Your feedback to my comment is important 😉. Thank you.

IDEA Girl

RM 's speech was brilliant. Perfect for the setting. It needed to be prepared and not like his concert tks in my opinion ion. Very professional. Just watch by yourself. Or schedule to react to it!

nicole s.

I loooove that phonecall with jimin's dad 🤧 he's so sweet! every army that has ever had the opportunity to visit his cafe in busan says he's always respectful and kind to all fans. Jimin's gentleness, politeness, kindness, sweetness and the fact that he cares so deeply about others are something he learned from his family 🥹

Chiii<3

Thanks for this video guyssss I loved it💜

cindasaurus

There was a big shift in the kpop industry at the end of 2017 due to a celebrity suicide (Jonghyun from Shinee RIP). Fans and the general public became more openly worried about celebrities struggling with mental health problems. BTS also attended his funeral. This probably forced them to really think about their own happiness

Nelle

I love that Summer wants to take notes to not miss anything, but I actually think if you are writing and not pausing you're going to miss actual conversations or important things the members say... I've noticed in the past, several times, you have missed things they have said and then wondered later about something that had been explained. Not meaning that in a negative way, I know the subtitles move fast, I just think taking notes might cause you to miss more that you wouldn't wanna miss. :-)

Teenie

the way yoongi is the one that taught me that word in english lmao

Ana Alvarez

You need to react to RM's UN speech

moonbeamss_⁷

Easiest way to fix the buffering is to actually download the video before you guys watch it

alexis.smtp

in a later run bts ep, you guys will find out more about yoongi’s love for interior design😆 also, i loooooove when you guys discuss further about what the members say and do, etc., but it’s seriously ok to pause and maybe rewind a little so you guys don’t miss anything. you guys tend to look at each other when talking/asking which is understandable but sometimes miss the answer to your guys’ own questions lol

l

Yea when the UN speech came out i cried alot lol, i was so extremely proud of them but hearing Namjoon speak him mind and thoughts to the world was so emotional for me. Because we as army know who he is and how wise he is, but knowing that everyone else finally gets to see and hear that was so amazing. I felt like a proud mom, even though they are older than i am lol. I hope yall watch the full speech soon, the members are so cute and appreciative in the back while watching him. That was their first time, the next time they spoke at the UN, they all got to speak ! 😭 im forver proud of them.

Ss

I loooooove that album.

Aryam Monge

I absolutely love RM’s UN speech!! I have parts of the speech embroidered on a jacket and hanging in a frame on my wall. I love looking at them whenever I’m having a tough time. I hope you react to the speech & the Bangtan bomb behind the scenes too! 🥰💜

LoriG

She was referring to his amazing vocals. 🤌🤩💜

LoriG

RM’s intelligence is impressive! 🤓

Denise

RM's album, Mono, is one of my all time favorite albums. It's so so good.

Taz

I was just a 4 month old ARMY back then when they did the UN speech but I was so proud of them already especially Namjoon. It was one of the most historical moment for BTS and ARMY and I can't wait for you to react to it. RM's mixtape MONO is my favorite among all the solo albums. It's so comforting and I listen to it almost everyday up until now. After reacting to the OT7 albums, I hope you react to their individual mixtapes/albums next.

Rayane Alves

can't believe bring the soul is almost over already

Rae Avilez

Mono was something else! One of my comfort albums honestly. Moonchild is my anthem! I can't wait until you guys get to it. You guys are doing to love it! My first BTS tattoo was Speak Yourself with a love yourself heart. I love it so much. Just a reminder that I have value and my voice matters when the rest of the world is trying to shut me down. I use his speech in my English classes. And those last lines are posted on my classroom wall as well. This was fun.

Cycology SPIN and MORE

Guys!!!! Go back and look at 36:26!!! That's Suga SINGING- yes SINGING with his live solo of SeeSaw!!! ooooh I hope it's on the list!!!

Linda Buford
>>128434185

whew! I thought it was for just ME!! But immediately I thought- ok that was a GREAT idea!!! LOL!!

Seneca

I loved Daniel's comment too about Namjoon not only knowing English, but even knowing technical music terms etc– things people don't usually learn in a 2nd/3rd language. I always have this thought when watching their US interviews– like it's one thing to speak English, but it's another thing to maneuver interview questions, avoid stepping into traps, play off interviewer's humor, being charismatic... like that's beyond fluency. Most native English speakers aren't as good at interviews as Namjoon, lol I also think it's even crazier that he's also fluent in fine arts/museum vocab. There's BangtanTV videos of his visits to museums, and he's reading all the art piece info, sharing his perceptions, etc. Like I wish I was that advanced in my second language.

Yahel Poveda

MONO by Namjoon, is THE MOST COMFORT ALBUM ever! His second mixtape was emotional and very deep, just like Joonie said in this episode, is his most raw work, and the lirics are so BEAUTIFUL. I can´t wait to your review for that masterpiece.

Cycology SPIN and MORE

AHHHHH when they were watching MAMA 2019 (which is hard not to watch and like yell out stuff) they talked over the part where Yoongi had his death fall before Namjoon and Jin popped up- i was like "NO!!! You just missed the best part!!! LOL!!

Cycology SPIN and MORE

Also, they go BACK to the UN and all the members get to speak and they have visuals!! They also shot a Permission to dance performance there!!! twas awesomeness!!

Laura Hardie

The RM song playing throughout the episode and at the end is 'uhgood' - love it so much I've had it as my alarm for 3 years lol

동화나라앤

Well... my heart hurts every time I see it. I love it every time I hear their stories so closely, but I hope they feel a little more comfortable. 💛🖤❤️💛🖤❤️ Anyway, the members are very handsome and cute. I also laugh at the same time.

kc

I WAS THERE AT THE CITI FIELD CONCERT IN NEW YORK 😭🥺

KumiKo

I'm with those here who are hoping you can react to Namjoonie's UN speech. I was a baby ARMY when I first saw it and I was blown away!! Their last UN General Assembly speech too in 2021 was awesome because ALL the members gave their own address. They were with the world leaders (including the President of South Korea) and country representatives in the U.N headquarters. I believe it was their first official trip as diplomats. Hope you guys watch their U.N. speeches! :-)

Kearyce Moore

Mono is my fav mixtape of rm's until this day

Kearyce Moore

Im telling you right now during his speech at the UN, i held my face in speechless mode and while tearing up. I was so proud that day💜

Nira

Now, there is a youtube video out from him. Haven't watched it yet, just saw the thumbnail

Nira

That's happened very often, but they already explained in the past, that it's just their way of watching and also reacting.

Nelle

Yeah, I understand. There have been times I have missed things said and have to rewind stuff to see what I missed, and they do that sometimes too, but they don't rewind much with longer content videos like doc episodes because they have a time limit to react to things. I just feel like with the speed of subtitles already moving quickly for them, having to take time away to write things down is just going to result in either missing more or having to rewind more. It happens already with them reading lyric translations, but it's easier to go back to songs later and read the lyrics again than to rewatch 30 minute episodes. I totally understand Summer's interest in jotting down notes during Bring the Soul so that they can go back and discuss some things, but I just think they'll either miss dialogue or have to rewind more. That was just my little bit of feedback. :-)

findingfortythree

Maybe the cousins and the wives need to experience their first BTS concert in Korea. Hope it happens and I'd be so happy for them, especially seeing how Daniel is such an Army

Rokm_

I love watching Shiki. And he is so right in what he said. I’m here because I see sincerity in CCW’s reactions, same way I see in Shiki’s reactions, and at the end of the day real ARMY seek reactors because they love BTS first and foremost and want to share more of them with as many people as possible to make them ARMYs too. And also on that note I would just like to reinforce how I appreciate that CCW has been reacting to BTS and BTS only instead of doing the usual “k-pop package deal” that a lot of reactors do for money and money only once they discover how engaging the ARMY fandom is.

Alwena Willis

I as at Magnate 3 months ago. Mr Park was not there but the food was wonderful and the cafe is lovely and it was one of the highlight of my trip along with dinner at Jin and his brothers restaurant!

Alwena Willis

The UN speech by Namjoon was the first of three UN speeches given by BTS. The first was this one spoken only by Namjoon. The second was during Covid and was a video one when all members spoke and lastly was the third one when they were given their diplomatic passports and made Special Envoys for the youth and culture of Korea by the South Korean President, where once more all members spoke and where they danced in and outside the UN to their hit Permission to dance! They also spoke at the White House about Asian hate. Also the class of 2020 Graduation speech in the US during Covid. All members speak eloquently so maybe their speeches could be something you review in the future. People tend to forget because they are idols but they also during this time studied and received their Bachelors degree. Jin fron Konkuk University in Seoul and the others with Cyber University, so all of them are intelligent and very capable in this area. 💜💜💜💜

raeven b.

There's a bangtan bomb of the behind the scenes of them preparing for the UN speech and it has some of the same clips used for this docuseries, so I hope you guys check it out some time. Same for all the times they went to the US award shows. You guys would love the bangtan bomb of them going to their first Grammy's. The cutest most wholesome thing I've ever seen a celebrity experience. Ugh! never gets old to see these boys get what they deserve. <3

Nira

Now, I don't understand the logic, when she wants to write things down to discuss some things later on which will take some time they can also pause the video to quickly talk about it, right?

Nelle

Yes, absolutely, they can always pause if they want to but the CCW team have said countless times that with longer content (i.e. documentary shows like Bring the Soul and travel shows like Bon Voyage) they try not to pause much because they don't have a lot of time to review. So if they don't wanna pause a lot (or at all) then writing a lot of notes would actually have them pausing a lot. If they want to pause for awhile to write down notes throughout the doc, that's totally their right...but if they don't wanna keep pausing, then taking notes could cause them to miss dialogue in the shows. It's really not that deep, it was just my feedback - and it wasn't even negative feedback, it was just pointing out pros and cons. :-)

Ceejayhey

Oo, that’s so awesome! I hope I can make it there myself someday. There are so many places there I’d like to visit!! I’m sure it was an experience you’ll never forget 💜

Lena

Very brief moment but Summer asked - I’m fairly certain the book that Jin was reading at 25:30 was Miracles of the Namiya General Store by Keigo Higashino. I read it last year and that just sounded too familiar to not be it lol

Yine Longart

My first tattoo was Everythingoes from Mono and I love it sooooo much 🥹😭

Juliana Ariza Daniells

You guys should react to that UN speech! Gives me goosebumps every single time!

Brittany Joy

Not sure if someone else commented this but Joonie was talking about his second mixtape dropping at 5pm. Titled Mono 😊

Minoo

episode four was soooooooooo good so well made so many great stuff in it

Alice Smith

And if they do watch SeaSaw they have to watch BTS seasaw enthusiasts..it's really cute how they all just love the song there is references from Malta and a couple other shows they have seen.

Amy Rustand

That song RM was putting together and that played at the end is my ALL TIME favorite RM song: "Uhgood" ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I grew up listening to the 80s British music that led to the 90s American "emo" (Echo and the Bunnymen; Psychedelic Furs; Depeche Mode; Joy Division) and the atmospheric synths on this song, RMs understated delivery of his feelings, and then the explosion of emotion...it hits all my 80s music buttons but wrapped up in Our Leader's package *chef's kiss*

Redg C.

i lost it when summer laughed so hard about yoongi pointing out wainsotting. there's a run bts ep when suga flexes his knowledge about that again HAHAHAHAH

echinopsis💜

hey which run bts ep do you remember

zuki

you guys should watch RM’s speech next!! he looks so cool and im so proud of him every time i watch it

Joy

This was such a fun episode
