Welcome back to Friday with your favorite cousins!! Today it's Ep 10 of Avatar. The Day of Black Sun, Part 1 &2!

This may have been the most epic episode yet 🤯. And it ramps up from here??

Woohoo! I was SO PUMPED to see you guys watch this one! 🔥Some clarifications: The Guru is from the Eastern Air Temple! The gang is heading for the *Western* Air Temple– Aang just said he knew it would be a good place to set up camp. Aang is from South, Guru East, and Inventor/Wheelchair Son took over North. No, Zuko's lightening redirection abilities had nothing to do with inner conflict. Zuko has *never* even attempted it, bc Iroh refused to lightening bend at him. He said Zuko could easily die if he did it wrong. Zuko even tried to get struck by lightening in a storm, but he cried in despair bc he was never struck. So he has never tried. Uncle Iroh developed redirection by studying water benders. It's unlikely anyone else knows how, it seems. Not sure how their solar system functions, but even if solar eclipses happen every few years, total solar eclipses are likely even more rare. Could have been decades. They spun that calendar forever lol.

Man, I also think it's so powerful that the youth, the up and coming generation.. is the symbol of hope in that war torn world. It's been that way the whole series– it's these kids who are saving the world, and doing what the adults so far couldn't do. That made it even more emotional that the adults wound up sacrificing themselves and getting imprisoned, trusting all the kids to end the war.

Simply one of the greatest shows of all time!

Nooooo! It’s not playing for me! Daniel barely gets a word out and the screen goes black! Is it still okay for everyone else? Thank you for any help.💜

Same the screen just goes black around 2 seconds into the video

Whoa, I also just realized this (even though I've watched the series several times 😆). Avatars always struggle to learn the element that is opposite theirs (like Aang struggled with Earth). That means that Iroh probably had to work really hard to develop a firebending technique based on waterbending. 😮 Like he had to deeply understand a concept of the opposite element. Other firebenders might not have the empathy(?) to put themselves in waterbenders' minds. But Zuko at this point, had come to respect and value all other elements. So he was able to grasp the concept 😮

quite honestly I think more official content makes sense here like dvd’s/ memories, summer/winter packages, musters, festas. Other stuff can be posted on youtube…. idk just hoping for more exclusive videos here

They turned off the comments for a reason, please respect that.

I tried different browsers but none of them worked. I ended up trying it in the app and it worked perfectly. I’ve also just checked again on Chrome and it’s playing without any issues now. I hope this helps.😊💜
