Can’t wait for more Zuko on team avatar!!

Some information about the avatar learning all the elements (correct me if i'm wrong, I'm not entirely sure): When an Avatar dies, the next Avatar will be born into the next nation in the Avatar Cycle. You already know that the Avatar Cycle is always in a specific order: water, earth, fire, air. It's the same order for learning the elements. Aang (airbender) first learned air, then water, then earth, and finally fire. The next Avatar (Korra, a waterbender) will learn water first, then earth, then fire, and finally air. The avatar after that (a earthbender) will learn earth first, then fire, then air, and finally water. It's always the same cycle. In an earlier episode (book 1 ep 16) when Aang wanted to learn firebending before learning the other elemets first. Jeong Jeong was against it and said to him that he should learn water and earth first, but gave it a chance anyway because Roku ordered him to learn Aang firebending. I hope this explains it for you😅

Zuko is one of my favorite characters so the best part of the show from me was when he joined the team!

I’m getting so excited for you to see the rest of the series. I’ve never really watched anime, well not since my son was little. He always wanted me to watch them with him, so the Dragonball Z saga, Yu-Gi-Oh, a bit of Naruto and ATLA. Watching it with you both has brought back some special memories of bonding with my son. We’d prepare snacks together, get excited about the what was going to happen in the next episode and we would get snuggled under a blanket. However, ATLA was later as he was 19yrs old when it came out, but he still wanted me to watch it with him. And yes, snacks were prepared, we’d excitedly guess what was next and still get snuggled under a blanket.🥰😭 No matter their age, that time is so precious. Thank you for reminding me of these beautiful memories.🥰💜

Woo hoo! I love how everyone keeps saying "the season RLY picks up after this", and it's true every time! It only gets more eventful from here, believe it or not 🤯 Been so fun hearing you guys' thoughts on the show! And yeah, I totally see where Katara is coming from. She was about to sacrifice her "holy" water to help Zuko... and he turned around and literally helped kill the Avatar. I'd have reservations about trusting him too.

Zuko's redemption arc/character development is so incredible and well written. I love that they didn't just have him turn good at the end of Season 2, but rather, turn "bad" again first. It's interesting and realistic too, since humans don't necessarily progress linearly. Omg also.. you realize that his dad banished him to find the Avatar, who hasn't been seen in 100 years. So basically his dad wanted him gone FOREVER on a fool's errand...

jnx

Oh boy, the next one’s one of my favorite episodes 🩷

I cant wait for the rest of the season!!!
