Patreon's Shifting Terms and Policies (Patreon)

I have some unfortunate and concerning news for you all. I've caught news that Patreon is targeting hypnosis and mind control content and removing it.

Here is how I understand this: If Patreon reaches out to me and says I am out of their terms of service (which I'm not. Half the point of My Best Friend's Girlfriend is that Reyna waits for consent), then I will remove all offending content from my Patreon. I will work to continue my Patreon. I don't want to take it down. I don't want to quit. I'm going to keep writing, and I you are all here to support my writing. 

I have two primary thoughts o the way this Patreon can continue under such censorship. 

1. The highest tier patrons commission me directly. They can continue supporting me, and I can continue to send them their rewards directly. Patreon doesn't want inappropriate content on the site, and it won't be. As far as we know, I write erotica with a focus on lesbian and BDSM stories. This is true. That's all anyone would be commissioning. 

2. Lower tier patrons want to support my art more than pay $5 a month to get sneak peeks of content. Perks and rewards are great, but when I talk to people, they just want to show their love to me, which is fantastic. I will continue to post stories we all love and adore on my blog (I may be getting my own website if people keep censoring my content). Your pledge on Patreon will still be supporting me. I'll still post polls and updates. I'll share commissions of artwork and all the things I do normally, but the offending content can't be posted or mentioned here. That should be the only major change. It's perfectly safe for you all to read the stories you love on my blog (  https://trixieadara.blogspot.com/  ). 

This is my plan based on my current understanding of the purge. My page currently doesn't mention hypnosis at all. As far as I know, I'm complying with their terms, but as we remember with Tumblr, these things change. I wanted to be upfront with you all in case you heard things and thought this was coming crumbling down. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to adapt and overcome. I want to get the content you all love to you. That's my plan.
